Description of Work: Blew insulation into attic. They were very professional. Got the job done, and cleaned up well.

Description of Work: We needed advice on how to improve insulation in the upper floor of our Cape Cod. They helped us evaluate options for the walls, the eaves, and the attic. I really appreciated that they were honest about what would work and what would not in our house, and did not try to sell extra services. In the end we sealed gaps and added blown-in insulation in the attic. It's been good for a 2-3 degree reduction in the temperature difference between the upstairs and the downstairs.

Description of Work: Cheers to Dan Robertson who returned my call at once and offered good advice about the job gratis. I may be able to DIY this one based on his advice. If not, I am sure to ask him to come take a look and give me a price. Thanks Dan!

Description of Work: Although Dan realized that we were outside of his service area for our new home, he offered free advice on how to do the job ourselves and what to look for in a vendor. He gave specific details of they type of product, where to get it and how to do the job even after knowing that his company would not be doing the service. He even offered some basic safety suggestions for DIY. I would use/recommend this company to anyone within their service area based on their helpfullness and professionalism.

Description of Work: This is a great Company to do business with. The owner, Dan Roberson, was both punctual and professional in his dealings with us. The crew he sent out to our house was also on time, professional and cleaned up perfectly at the end of the job. Besides being outstanding at what they do, this is a pet friendly company. The crew leader, Mike, made every effort to make sure that our two indoor cats were in safe places before they started work. This is something I always worry about with workmen in the house, but it was not a problem with this Company. We definitely plan to use them again for the next insulation job.

Description of Work: They were very quick to provide a quote. The work was completed within two days of accepting their quote. When the work was complete I received a refund for the area they were unable to access. The work was done very well.

Description of Work: They insulated the whole attic and basement. They put 18 inches of insulation in my top attic and my bottom attic. They found some water leaks from the roof.

Description of Work: I was thoroughly pleased with the service performed. The team showed on-time and insulated my entire attick in the least intrusive manner possible. There was NO disruption to our daily schedule and my husband was working from home at the time. They were quiet, neat, clean, and fast. When they left, there was no evidence of having had a major home service completed as not a speck was left behind.

Description of Work: Dan Roberson was a nice and helpful guy, very funny too. Called to ask questions about a home inspection on a house. He answered phone when I called on Saturday, answered my questions, and it turns out no work needs to be done. Having already spoken with an electrician and plummer about the same home inspection, it appears my home inspector was a little overly thorough,- listing a lot of little things on these major home systems that did not even need to be done. Thanks Dan.

Description of Work: Dan & his crew were great. Dan returned my initial phone call quickly & we met for the estimate. He is refreshingly straightforward to deal with, gave me excellent advice which saved us a lot of money, and we ended up having them blow in attic insulation (ours was old and very compressed). Mike & the crew showed up early and got going fast. Unfortunately, we lost power several times to the house while they were installing (due to nearby new home construction), but they dealt with the delays cheerfully. When it became apparent that the last outage was going to be a while, Dan & Mike went out to get a generator to finish the job. Super service under adverse conditions that were not their fault at all! I would not hesitate to use Quality Insulation again in the future.

Description of Work: I had them do my entire attic (1300 sq ft) and seal my crawlspace. I had almost no insullation in my attic, and they did a great job blowing in a lot of insullation. My wife noticed the difference immediately. I think it came out to about $1.50 per sq ft for R-49 (I have not verified if this is how much we got, but there is probably 15 inches of new insulation). I didn't get any other esitmates, so I can't compare but I know that Lowe's wanted 99 cents per foot for R-30. the owner of the company came out right away to do the estimate, and was very knowledgeable about the services. They were very easy to deal with, the crew was great, and I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Quality added to the insulation in our attic to bring it to R49. They included sil plates, batting and a cover for the pull down stairs. In addition they looked into adding insulation in the ceiling of our sun room. They determined that additonal insualtion in the sun room was not necessary and did not charge us for their efforts. Quality also identified a problem with our attic fan and recommended an electrican who could fix it at a reasonable price. They were highly professional, responsive and easy to work with. They also cleaned up well.

Description of Work: I had Quality Insulation,Inc come to my home last week ( April 27,2011). I was getting a quote for home insulation and ended up having them do my service. The knowledge of the product and quality of work job was so refreshing! They provided a fair price quote, and was able to schedule the job to be done in a timely fashion. They showed up on time, prepared the house for the insulation job, and provided clean up after the job was completed. Ryan and his team really provided great customer service and showed a very solid work ethic. I highly recommend this company, they are unmatched!

Description of Work: I have used this company twice. Once for insulating my attic and again for insulating a crawl space under my kitchen area. Both times the work was done professionally and on time and at the price quoted.

Description of Work: Put insulation in basement. Removed asbestos and replaced with R30 under back porch that was 10x10. Dan was great!! I would highly recommend him!!
