Dave worked for about 2 hours, getting one toilet to work properly. The other Kohler toilet leaked from the tank. After a lot of trials, he could not fix the leak without buying a new ballcock, cost about $250 plus labor. He finally suggested that we scrap the $750 Kohler and get a much cheaper toilet. Not a good prospect! The Kohler still leaks. Never again Kohler! Dave seemed to be a very competent plumber and worked hard to try to fix the problem. The bad part was when I received his bill! His cost is $105 for the first 1/2 hour and $40 for each 15 minutes following! That works out to $185 for the first hour (minimum), and $160 for each subsequent hour! Way too much for fiddling with toilets!

As above. The firm was extremely responsive; the plumber was prompt, polite, and he did the jobs I needed done.

They are good. Two other plumbers had come earlier, but Shary’s Plumbing is good. They have creative thinking and they could solve the problem. I have a complicated situation and I’m currently working with them. I like their ideas and they know about things I haven’t heard of, but I was surprised that I had to pay them for a quick visit.

Company was courteous and quick to schedule. Plumber was on time, tidy (those cloth boots) a good listener and polite. He answered my many questions about water heater life and replacement with patience and was not condescending at all. He performed the "work order tasks (garbage diposal , toilet diagnosis and repair) thoroughly and efficiently. He did not hesitate when asked to add on checking the hot water heater thermostat and the removal of the old toilet seat. On my request, he left behind the old garbage disposal so I could recycle it.

We couldn't get anyone to come out! I waited for about 5 hours on 3 separate occasions and nobody ever showed up. They kept saying he got busy and he'd arrive the next time, but he never did. I clearly got the impression that these people didn't want my business. I wouldn't work with them in the future.

It was fixed in a day or two, great!

This seemed like a simple job. In fact, since the house is over 60 years old, it was a nightmare. He had to saw it out and broke three tools in the process. Then, he discovered that the opening was about 1/16th of an inch too small for the standard-size replacement part to fit. He had to travel 15 miles to find and bring back the unusual part. In spite of the fact that the part took time to get and cost $90, he charged me $35 for the part and did not even charge me one extra hour. He was so courteous, and wanted to be sure that I felt that the charge was fair. I can see why so many people like this company.

Good, they took care of the problem. They came out the same day.

I liked that they responded to my telephone calls. They set up an appointment and arrived on time. They did work quickly. They cleaned up any mess that was made. Everyone that I dealt with was polite.

Very quickly - under 10 minutes. I knew there was an hourly rate, but from what I read on Angie's List, I had expected the total cost to be about $160-$180. I was shocked when I was handed a bill for $275.00.

They were prompt and courteous. They are good at communicating with their clients. They speak fluent English and there are no language barriers. They are an excellent service and I would recommend them to others.

I emailed Shary's plumbing and it took almost 2 weeks for a response. When I asked, I was told that "Shary doesn't look at that email often." Mmm... so why is it on Angie's list? Also the rates ($180) were higher than what had been listed on A's List...again "we should probably up that" The two people who came were very professional. I was quite surprised at the amount of the bill and was told that they didn't charge me for the assistance. Huh? I was to pay $180/hour for the plumber and $100/hour for his assistant?Bottom Line: Work well done, but nothing was complicated. Price not worth service. I'll look elsewhere next time and will not got back to Shary's. Two reasons: price excessive and office not responsive on appointments.

The service and the repair could not have been more prompt and (seemingly) complete. The area under the sink has remained dry for several hours. The servicemen were neat, courteous, and explained what they were doing.

Went very well, and very good. They're customer service is great and they showed up on time and very prompt. We did have a small issue but they came back and fixed right away.

They are awesome; amazing. I would recommend them to everybody.

The experience was very good. The person who scheduled the call was friendly and efficient and called in advance to verify the appointment time. The plumber showed up as scheduled and performed his work very efficiently. He explained everything he did, cleaned up after himself, and before leaving made sure that everything was as I requested.

We found out that there was a leak in the basement that we suspected was coming from the kitchen sink. We called Shary's Plumbing and they said they would come the next morning. They arrived on time, diagnosed the source, replaced a faucet and the three in take valves under the sink with 2. They explained their work well and verified that the source of the leak was indeed taken care of. They performed their work in one hour. They said they would send me a bill for $231. I was very pleased with the quality of the work.

Great work. Reasonably-priced. Ultra-fast response time. I even received my call back within a matter of minutes. Won't likely waste my time awaiting calls from others next go-around.

The work was completed promptly, neatly and with a high degree of professionalism. I look forward to using Shary's for future plumbing work in my home.

The crew that was at my house was Mel and Eric. The price was right. They were very responsive, professional, and respectful. They have become our plumbers. I have already recommended them to someone else.

Great experience. Chris arrived, looked at problems, quickly diagnosed what the solution was, gave a ballpark estimate on total cost, and went about doing the work all in the same visit. His estimate was right on, as were his suggested solutions for the problems. He was efficient, cleaned up after, and was nice to have around. Maybe the price was a tad high, but for the trade-off of having such a good, efficient, knowledgeable person it was worth every penny.

With the exception of a few scheduling glitches at first (no one showed the first appointment, two people separately, including Shary, showed up the second time to give an estimate), Shary's did an excellent job. She was always responsive to all our questions (always answered her cell phone), provided a detailed written quote and contract, and gave us an excellent price on the job. The plumbers showed up early on the day of the project, were extremely proficient even as they had to tear up our yard, and completed the project in less than a day. For a little extra $$, they also tamped down the earth that had to be excavated and reseeded the yard. They were polite, efficient and pleasant. We received quotes from other plumbers for this job, but none of them were all that polite or interested in customer service. Their prices also were higher. Shary's did not have a ton of experience with this kind of job, but we chose them because we simply got a better feeling about her and her staff.

I like that they were polite and extremely nice. They were also about 15 minutes early, which I liked. I have used them one other time before and I would highly recommend them. There were no surprises that came up.

Plumber showed up promptly at scheduled time. He brought an assistant, but did not charge for the assistant's time. He quickly diagnosed the problem because he said he has seen it before. Finding and fixing the problem, and checking that the fix worked, took 30 minutes. Since they have a minimum of one hour billing, the plumber and his assistant cheerfully let me lead them around the house to get advice and minor fixes on a few other items that had been on my to-do list.
