The Tree People

If I could give The Tree People a 5+ star, I would. From the first initial contact with Cindy to get a quote, to the email follow up from Michael they were very professional. Within a few days I had a written quote emailed to me and the price was better than all 6 others I received. The day of, which was 4 days later, 6 men showed up right on time and within 5 hours I had 4 huge oak trees removed, stumps grinded and everything was cleaned up like they were never there. The Tree People really want your business and it shows that they have the best employees around. Thank you again! I referred you to my co-worker, who also chose you to remove some trees!

Neighbor hired them to trim some trees. Their crew left equipment in my yard during the job and repeatedly dragged cut limbs and branches through my yard to their truck. Two phone calls to the company finally got them off of my property.

Very professional group from start to finish. Cleaned up lawn, added fill dirt where needed and grassed area. All done in 1 day. You wouldn't even know they were there except for the missing trimmed parts off the trees.

I had a wonderful experience with The Tree People. I work led directly with Peter (the estimator) he got to our property very fast, gave us a reasonable quote and was always there if I had any question. He even responded at 8:30pm to a text I sent him about pricing. The guys that came out were incredibly skilled, took their time and made sure everything came out safely. I will never use another tree service. I know that is a very bold statement but working with Peter was such a wonderful experience. Will call again!

The Tree People did a great job, they were skilled professionals, respected property and cleaned and replaced items back , had a small mishap not due to human error and the gentleman corrected it. I only wish I had a beer tip to give to them. Awesome job especially the climber they were unable to use the bucket truck because of dynamics of my yard I especially liked the fact they checked with utility company prior to removal. Let me say that I was extremely pleased with the removal of my trees by the Tree People. From the initial scheduling and estimation process to the completion of the job, the crew performed in a professional, determined and expeditious manner. initially I had a good deal of anxiety given the location of one of my tress and its proximity to power lines, but as the process unfolded the teamwork, re-direction and methodical cutting quickly allayed all my fears. The team worked very well together, and many times exhibited enjoyment in their work. The trees are now gone, but my memory of the Tree People will linger on. Great Job !!

From the estimator to the tree removal crew, this company was great to work with. The estimator came out quickly and responded quickly to my two changes I asked for after the first estimate. The crew was very polite, quick, safety-conscious, and did everything we asked. They also cleaned up everything including sweeping the street where their truck was in front of our house. They clearly know what they're doing and do it well. I would definitely rehire and recommend to anyone.

Started right away, 3 pm worked till about 9 pm Saturday, said will be back early 8 am Monday.no show, no call , called at 3 pm, said they would be starting early 8 am next day , showed up at 3 pm Tuesday different crew, watched the workers they had a hard time topping tree explained they could cut trees at 6/8 feet high if that would be easier. finished up first tree, cleaned up said they would be back. No call/ no show

They did an excellent job. All work was completed on schedule, safely, professionally and at estimated cost. Left my yard in great shape. 20% discount was a plus.

It didn’t. I called Monday 10/15/18 and explained I had a tree that went down in the high wind. Also explained I was having a new fence installed soon and needed three other trees taken down that were dead. Was promised a phone call back ASAP. I called them and left a message Wednesday 10/17 and another message 10/18 as I was getting their voicemail even though it was before 1pm both days when I called. Asked for a call back. Still have not heard a thing. Very disappointing. I was going to hire them no matter the estimate as I wanted this job done before my new fence was installed. I guess they weren’t interested in my business.

The Tree People crew arrived within the time frame given to us. After going over the bid that was agreed upon they effectively removed a 70 foot tall maple tree in our yard, ground the stump, pruned a large holly tree, and cut back another maple tree from our roof line. This was all done within a few hours. We were very happy with the work and would hire again.

The Tree People provided superb service from beginning to end. Estimator Ron Dorr provided a very fair, detailed, written estimate in a very timely manner. The 5 or 6 man work crew, led by foreman Louis, was very professional. They were very punctual, worked hard all day, and did very high quality work. Several of the trees were huge and required a lot of technical expertise to remove. (One particularly complicated removal involved a 40 or 50 foot tall tree that had a broken trunk and had fallen on and was precariously balanced on another tree.) They ground two stumps to 6" below ground level in my front yard and cut all other stumps in heavily wooded area to as close to ground level as possible. Clean-up of all logs, branches and twigs was thorough. They reseeded and fertilized lawn areas damaged by falling trees and heavy equipment. All of the crew members were polite, friendly and helpful. Having had a number of trees removed over the last 20+ years, I can certify that these guys really know what they are doing. I intend to hire this company again to remove additional trees in my front yard.

Outstanding service from the Tree People at half the price of Greentree. This was after Greentree reneged twice because their big burly employees balked at carrying the firewood up three flights of stairs. So, a resounding A for The Tree People and an F for Greentree.

I was so pleased with the work this group of gentlemen accomplished. They did a superior job and cleaned up the clipping, etc. before they left my property. I would highly recommend this company to all who need tree work done.

3 man crew showed up on time & went right to work cutting down the stock & carried it away. The grinder showed up later & ground the stump well below ground level. He was more than willing to clean up the mess , but we told him we would take care of it. My neighbor had two stumps in his yard & asked if he could grind them down. He called his boss & got permission to do it & my neighbor was very satisfied with the job & the price. I thought that was pretty nice of the company to do that since the grinder guy had a very busy schedule that day.

They used a truck and they backed the truck up onto the lawn to unload some of the debris. It left giant tire marks on the lawn and now we trip on it every time we wheel the garbage cans in and out. I get that they had to get the truck up in there, but they really didn't tell me they were going to do that. It was just not a great place for them to have done that.

The work was done in a safe and timely manner. Everything was cleaned up immediately. I was very happy with the service and the quality of work.

It went great, I was very happy with the company. They guy was great and looked everything over before starting.

I am still waiting for their response on the estimate, it's been almost three weeks since they said that they will send me something via email. I still haven't heard back from them after several follow ups.

Project went great from the start. Mr. Gray arrived on time. We showed him the trees we wanted cut and he pointed out some others that needed to be cut. He also advised us against cutting some we thought should be cut. We were concerned that they were too close to the house. He thought they looked healthy and posed no risk. We received the estimate the next business day as promised. The estimate was far less than many of the people who just drive by and stop and offer to cut the trees. We scheduled out for about 2 weeks. They arrived in the morning about 9 am and worked until about 5. There was a crew of about 10 people. They were professional and worked hard....and this was one of the hottest days with the heat index over 100! They cut the trees flush to the ground and chipped the wood on the spot. We have a large wooded lot, so we didn't need the wood hauled away. With coupons and because we had nothing hauled away, we got a 20% discount. We were pleased with the price and professionalism of the entire crew. Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

I filled out request for quote mike called me on Monday morning we set and appointment for Tuesday evening at 5pm mike never showed up or even called on Wednesday morning mike sent me a text message saying he put my paper work on the wrong day we then set up another appointment for Thursday evening at 5pm again mike never showed up or even called i still haven't heard from mike or gotten a quote for a retaining wall this seems like a very unreliable company would never use again
