Mr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and PG County

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for 4 Hours of Professional Handyman Services from Mr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and they did a bunch of little things around our home. They did an excellent job and I've called them for other projects around my home.

Description of Work: exterior painting. replace rotten fucia boards. replace shutters.

Description of Work: Installed foyer sink and toilet;installed new shower head. Toilet installed okay but one of the anchor screws that seals toilet to the floor was not cut off properly so the cap can not be placed on it.

Description of Work: Drywall repair. Vanity and sink installation (including associated plumbing). |Moved three large cabinets from one room to another.

Description of Work: The handyman was on time and did a great job installing dry wall and installing a ceiling light. Plus he also fix two light switches that was not working. He had to call-in another person to fix one light switch that he said he was not able to fix himself.I paid for 4 hrs of work at $398 for 1 handyman. But with the extra handyman who work for about an hour for the light switch it cost me add'l money which I wasn't prepared for the extra expense. I also gave him the left over drywall to take with him.

Description of Work: Caulked entire exterior of home, as needed. Advised of any additional work needed. None was.

Description of Work: They corked two bathrooms, power washed the deck, replaced the wood under the kitchen sink.

Description of Work: Installed ceiling fans. Ken is always helpful and easy to communicate with. We noticed the fan in one of the rooms hummed when we turned the light on. He explained it was the dimmer switch interfering with the controller on the fan. I asked him to remove the dimmer switch, and he did so, at no added cost.

Description of Work: they were going to charge far too much. it was so much for the first hour, and then they were going to charge for each additional hour. We needed a wall drywalled, they were going to charge for getting the supplies for us, then charge us for the supplies. They were only going to put one coat of the compound on, that's not the correct way to dry wall. The wall requires at least 3 coats. My husband is an architect, and knows how to dry wall correctly. We were not going to pay for Mr.Handyman to come here 3 days in a row, plus, the wall requires 24 to dry between coats. So, my husband fixed the wall, it may have taken longer than the time Mr. Handyman was going to fix it in, however, it has been done correctly, and looks fabulous! Who knows, perhaps, in the future we may need Mr. Handyman, but, not for this project. thank you,

Description of Work: Siding trim had been blown nearly off in one area of the building. I had never used Handyman Services in the past, so I thought I'd give them a try. Not only did the serviceman repair the trim, he nailed all the rest of the house trim so I would not the same problem in the future. To date, all is well.

Description of Work: a little pricey but i guess the old adage of "you get what you pay for" would certainly apply. have used Mr.Handyman several times and have been majorly impressed with the quality of work done.

Description of Work: service was all mixed-up. they wanted to do things that were unnecessary and not requested. In the end they replaced one door handle and straightened another door for nearly $500. Way too expensive for what they did.

Description of Work: He changed the porch lights, hung a mirror, hung curtain rods, and shackled the kitchen wall.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 medicine cabinets(handyman Jim E. found the right sized cabinets for these non-standard dimensions), replaced kitchen light fixture (4 bulb fluorescent), cleaned 2d story gutters, cutting tree limbs back from one set of gutters. I'm very pleased with the quality of work and ease of interaction with the Jim E.
