Team showed up on time and were very professional.

It went great! On a brutally hot and humid day, Alex Weber installed a motion sensor security light, replaced several exterior lights, removed and replaced the bathroom exhaust fan motor. In addition he removed and replaced a damaged light box. Alex is a perfectionist who works with a great deal of precision. His work is timely, accurate and thorough, He takes pride in his work and seeks to exceed customer expectations. After the work was completed, he reviewed everything with me and tested all of the electrical installations. 'm extremely happy with his work. His outstanding efforts inspire confidence and reflect well on Haas & Sons. I'll be sure to contact them for future electrical service needs!

Michael assessed the situation (45 year old lamp) and gave me several options to fix. I choose one option then asked about replacing the top light fixture. He agrred to keep the price quoted and install the new top. Came back (after I purchased the new top) and fixed all.

The job was more work than expected, but Nick stayed all day until it was complete. He was professional and knowledgeable, and would definitely hire him again if I have another job.

Technician was excellent. I was not prepared for the adjustment in price. Overall they did an excellent job.

It went very well. I called to ask for an estimate to install a chandelier in my vaulted ceiling where there was no existing box. They came out the same day. Alex had everything he needed on the truck and was able to do the job the same day. He did a great job, and I could not be more pleased. He worked to make as few holes in the wall/ceiling as necessary, and he did great. Got the line fished through the ceiling to a new switch he installed. The chandelier looks great, and Alex was great to work with.

It went extremely well. The technician arrived arrived an hour after I called Haas and Sons Electric. I wasn't expecting same day service but they exceeded my expectations. The technician (Alex Weber) was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He listened carefully to my concerns and responded accordingly. His work was timely accurate and thorough. He was also very neat and adhered to the COVID safety protocols. I highly recommend Haas and Sons Electric and intend to utilize them them next year for some additional projects!

Nick arrived on time, preformed the job efficiently and expertly. However, I was surprised that the cost was more than the estimate given. I was told that if the electrical box did not need to be replaced (it would not), the cost would be less than $200. With the Angie's List discount the cost was $239 ($278).

I made the appointment with them before the COVID restrictions took effect earlier this year. Then everything was shut down for a while, so they called to let me know that they would not make it to the appointment, which was understandable. After the restrictions were lifted, they got in contact with me right away and asked if I would still need the work done. Of course I did, and we scheduled an appointment right away. Technician showed up right on time and was very professional. He worked quickly and very efficiently, while observing all safety measures. Before any work was done, he evaluated the scope, provided a cost estimates, and made sure to obtain approvals for them. He was very polite and cleaned up any unavoidable mess before he wrapped up. All in all they were reliable and fair. I will definitely hire them again for other work.

It went great. The electrician, Nick, did just what I asked, was very neat and efficient took care to protect my home.

Tech successfully completed a more difficult than expected install of ethernet from the basement to the main level.

Motor was defective. Put another motor in. Now it works well. Mike was great!

I’ve honestly never had a better experience hiring an electrician/electric company. Nick is easily the best electrician I’ve ever met. He’s super nice and professional at all times, and he really knows what he’s doing. He really works with you to make sure your satisfied with everything. I was able to schedule both the quote and the job very quickly, and both Nick and the company stayed in touch throughout the process and were easy to get ahold of. Haas & Sons is hands down the best electric company around. I will never hire anyone else for electrical work again. Highly recommended!

Angies List suggested getting a quote from Haas and a couple other electricians through their app. Haas and Sons Electric was the first to call. He said they would give a more accurate estimate after they see the job, but estimated $200 if it is simple and up to $750 if it is complex and problematic. The other electricians were both in the $200-250 range, but Haas was available first, so I booked them. The electrician looked at the job and said it was the simplest type. He looked up on their price list the cost and options to add the outlet and switch. The price options on their list ranged from $500 to over $1500. The cheapest $500 one was to add the outlet and switch to an existing wire run, which is what I needed. I am not happy that they said a fair price over the phone which matched other quotes, yet the lowest price on their price list was more than double their original estimate. I decided not to go with them because it was double the price others gave. They charged a $89 trip charge. I recommend avoiding them not just because they are overpriced, but because they are sneaky and deceptive. I overheard the boss talking to the electrician on the phone and the boss indicated that he knew he had given an artificially low quote and it was on purpose. So, they give low estimates over the phone and have a mandatory trip charge. Thus, you are stuck paying $89 with nothing to show for it other than wasted time and a new wait for a fair and reasonable electrician to come, or, you pay double the going rate. Slimy!
