Description of Work: They installed gutter helmets and gutters on a particular downspout. The service has been very good. The gutters themselves are not doing exactly what we wanted as they are still freezing.

Description of Work: Gutter Helmut installed gutters on my home about 8 or 9 years ago and I have to say it was a very nice company to deal with. The are very responsive to any issues, very customer oriented. My only problem with the system is that for them to work properly they must be very clean or the water will fall off the edges like a rain curtain instead of flowing into the gutter. Now they will come out several times a year to clean them and they are great about scheduling appointments. They have old fashioned customer service and by that I mean they care about your whether you are satisfied with the product. In addition, the gutters look great on the house!

Description of Work: Gutter Helmet replaced a gutter system that had been damaged in a hail storm earlier in 2010. I chose them because the product had worked well for about ten years and because of the guarantee of service after the installation. I called for service several weeks ago and was given a 2-hour period in which the service technician would arrive. No one came and no one called to say he would be late or not able to come that day. I called and was given an appointment for yesterday. I was assured that the technician would have my project as his first appointment so that there would be no delay. No one came and no one called! At 3:30 PM I called to see what the problem was. I was transferred to Dina, who does not do the firm any good as a customer service representative. She seemed angry that I had called. She would not let me say much about the situation because she repeatedly cut me off to say she needed to check on the situation and would call me back in 5 minutes. She was shouting in the phone at the end. Guess what, she has not called back. At this point calling me would not be beneficial. Gutter Helmet will never work at our house again!

Description of Work: Installed Gutter Helmet to our gutters.I had these services performed many years ago. This summer we recently noticed that we had rotting wood around our house, rotten fascia, rotten soffit, and wood even hanging off. We hired a roofer to check the problem . What we found out was that Gutter Helmet crew installed the shields incorrectly. Instead of screwing the shield up and under the shingles they screwed through the top of the shingles. This caused water to come inside the screw holes and build up and rot the wood. We had to pay $4500 to correct the roof damege. We have called Gutter Helmet and they came out on June 23rd, they claimed this had nothing to do with their product . We then hired a roofer who found all of this and took pictures to provide Gutter Helmet. On July 11th I called Gutter Helmet to speak of this matter. On July 16th they came and picked up pictures.He promised he would come out with a full crew to check the rest of the installation. Since then they have not attempted to fix this issue or bring the crew out as promised. Product did keep debris out but poor installation ruined my viewpoint of the company and product.
