They did the work very quickly. They were very responsive and responsible.

They were unprepared for the initial appointment and had to reschedule to complete the project. Overall the service was fine though.

In 2009 I spent more than $10,000 on Gutter Helmet. Recently the ice got under the flashing that attaches to the roof and then snow and ice slide under the flashing bending it up. I called gutter helmet to come out to repair under warranty and they said we didn’t install your gutter helmet. so I dug through 10 yrs of records to find the purchase order and gave them the information. In the mean time we have more snow and ice and the weight of it , because of the bent flashing acts like a dam ,starts to pull the fascia off the house. They said someone would be out in three weeks to examine the situation. He will call an hour in advance. On the date the guy just shows up no call in advance and starts making up stories about computer glitch and reason for no call. Then he wants to charge me almost $4000 to fix the problem because the fascia board coming off caused the problem. I told him the fascia board is a result of the problem Three lies on one job is below zero stars. It has been a terrible experience dealing with these people

I had Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet installed on my existing gutters 9 years ago. Over this period they have worked flawlessly, saving me countless hours and the associated risk of being up on a ladder. I live on a heavily wooded lot and in the spring the oak pollen tends to cake up on the covers. This doesn't significantly impair the performance but it is unsightly, so each spring I call the Company and they send out a service rep who cleans the gutters free of charge. Recently, I noticed that one of the end caps was missing. I called the Company and they sent out a crew to replace the end cap and service/adjust the other end caps. While they were here they also cleaned all of the covers. This work was performed free of charge. Over the years I have been very pleased with the performance of their product and the service I have received from Harry Helmet.

Excellent service experience. Jeff Econom, owner of Absolute Animal Removal came to my house and spent two hours taking care of the problem of a dead squirrel in the crawl space under the house that was making the inside of my house stink. He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to anyone. His charges were extremely reasonable for the service he provided.

Sales person was immediately antagonistic about the gutters being altered and voiding any warranty. Provided quote and left. After emailing him the signed quote, I never received confirmation. Over 2 weeks I called him three times and he never responded. Called HQ accounting and they had no record of my contract. Cancelled request. Update from November 6th Since Angie's List doesn't allow for follow-up to previous reviews, here is a separate post in response to the vendors comments: Yes, you did follow-up with a voice mail but have never returned my calls and messages back to you. Today, I received another invoice from your sales guy Chris. I consider this an insult after you have done nothing yet to rectify the issue. Please tell your sales guy to not contact me again. Nicole, the ball is in your court if you really care to address this.

Bob did a very good, excellent job. We have a very long driveway. He worked straight through the day and the driveway looks brand new. The price was right and we are very pleased. He did two coats.

I have gutter helmet system in my house, installed by the previous owner of the house. This summer, I found it was clogged, so I contacted their service department for cleaning, which is covered by their lifetime warranty. I first contacted them in the end of July to schedule the cleaning, and now it is September 7, and my gutter still has not been cleaned yet. I explained to them one of the clogged parts was over the walkout basement. Because the gutter was clogged, it created a lot of burden for the basement drain. Because of all the rain, I am concerned of basement flooding, if this problem does not get fixed. Their customer service does not seem to care at all. I also contacted them by phone and email multiple times inquiring when my appointment is, and each time, I was told my appointment got pushed back for another 1-2 weeks. The customer service people said I was not only one who got pushed back. How is that response supposed to be satisfactory? It only shows me you are failing a lot of your customers, and you are not caring about your customers at all.

They were prompt. They were punctual. We have a tree and one of the branches hit part of the gutter so they have to come out and replaced a small section of the gutter and they did it very professionally.

This is an update to my original review posted 7-8-18. The following day I received a phone call from Rod Arce, Roofing Director, of Gutter Helmet. We had a very good conversation regarding my original review. I explained my unhappiness and he addressed my concerns. He agreed to cover the costs of damage to my lawn and my screens. He said he understood my complaint about the lack of communication between his work crew and me regarding arrival times and will speak to the crew leader about this issue. After looking at even more homes in my community with the same Gambrel Roof design as mine, I now believe that the original work on my roof was better than almost all others. That's not to say it was the way I expected it to be done but it was better than others. The solution the the team leader came up with to correct the problem as simple but good looking. I only wished he had proposed this solution to me rather than me having to complain about the work first. Based on where we stand now I've upgraded my original grades. Upon reimbursement for repairs as Ron offered, I'll be able to fully recommend using Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet as a roofing contractor.

These people are wonderful. This is the best money I ever spent. I no longer have to pay gutter cleaners who sometimes didn't clean my gutter right anyways. I've only had Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet out a couple times over the years for routine gutter maintenance needs from severe storms, etc. I live on a river with high winds that sometimes damages the actual roof and gutters, not just the gutter helmet

Installation took two days and went well. The low scores are due to a follow-up to a leak. The leak was detected less than 3 weeks after installation. That was over a week ago and after at least three contacts and assurances that someone would be out to look at the leak, no one has been out to look at the leak. Meanwhile the leak continues and is in an area that can not be reached. The dry wall and studs just continue to get wet and moldy. I did not have a leak in that area before the roofing installation but I have one now. I believe I have given Gutter Helmet sufficient time to resolve this matter.

Well. Years later when pollen lined the outer edges causing over spill, they responded quickly and cleaned the pollen off. Part of the lifetime guarantee.

Horrible. Took 3 months to have the work done. When work completed, water ran down and behind my siding into the foundation. Since they only work in VA on Tues and Thurs, I had to call a roofer to correct their work. So an additional $400 to roofer was paid. Took a few rains for the roofer to correct the problem in 2 areas where the gutters were installed. Many messages left for the Tech, installation supervisor, etc. and no one ever returns phone calls. I got to speak to the supervisor by calling the Sales extension. As of today, no one has returned my calls to inspect the Helmets.

We've had our gutters for approximately 4 years. The gutters work well. I frankly cannot recall what specific issues we may have encountered over the years. But, recently we called for general maintenance and were told we would be contacted for servicing anytime in the next 4-6 weeks. I was really annoyed about how long we'd have to wait just get someone to even begin the scheduling process. (This seems to be the same timeframe we receive whenever we've called in the past.) So, I called to complain. The customer service rep (Nicole) that I spoke to was very helpful in explaining that this is the typical wait for servicing during summer months. Though, I am still not happy about how long it takes to have the gutters unclogged, the interaction I had on the phone was very helpful and very professional. We've had some heavy rains and it is raining now. Very difficult to wait patiently while I listening to the rain and knowing that my gutters are Still clogged. If it takes this long for servicing, maybe Harry Helmet needs to consider adding technicians to the staff to prevent such a continual backlog.

It went excellently. The five-man roofing crew arrived at 7:00 a.m., and immediately began to remove the existing shingles. The foreman and gutter specialist arrived a little later and uninstalled our Gutter Helmet and Helmet Heat systems for safekeeping during the roof replacement process. The existing shingles were removed quickly and placed in the debris trailer. Any debris on the lawn was picked up right away. Plants and grill on deck were covered with tarps. The roof ridges (our home is split-level) were opened for new ridge vents and a chimney cricket built. The new shingles were expertly installed and the Gutter Helmet and Helmet Heat carefully reinstalled. The previous day, the gutter supply company delivered a new gutter and down spouts of the wrong color. Gutter Helmet's installation department corrected the issue and there was no installation delay. Late in the afternoon, I decided to have two upper roof gutters replaced rather than patched. Right away, the foremen drove to a gutter supply company in Manassas for new gutters. Again, no delay. Our new roof is great looking. The Gutter Helmet crew was hard working and thoroughly professional. As promised, the project was completed in one day. Meanwhile, near us, another roof replacement project was ongoing. Roof size was roughly comparable. That project took over four days. Roof replacement by Gutter Helmet may be somewhat more expensive, but well worth it.

My husband and I got tired of climbing to clean the gutters. Rain goes right over the top so we don't have to clean them. We experienced some leakage so they had to come back out to fix it. They didn't get the corners right. The price was right. We paid over 2 years with no interest. It's guaranteed for life.

The young man came to my home on time. Told me how long it would take . cleaned out my gutter/ then place all the gutters were they were suppose to be cleaned all the leaves from around the front of my home that were thrown from the gutter he gave me the information that I needed know to about how to maintain the gutter and if I had questions later to call the number that he gave me

The men arrived at dusk and had called to say they would be arriving late. They asked if we wanted to reschedule but we said no as long as they could see. The work was professionally completed. The men were professional, approached the work in a proper workman like manner. We had no complaints.

We had gutter helmet installed in March. We had an issue with a neighbor in July, and Gutter Helmet offered to come out and resolve it, as a courtesy to us. We found them to be exceptionally prompt, efficient, and reliable. In this day and age of a lack of customer service, I was astounded by how friendly and easy-going their personnel were, particularly Jacklyn!! I would highly recommend them, and would definitely use them in the future for other properties. We love the gutter helmets and are anticipating many easier, worry free years for our gutter, because of the installation!!!
