I can't remember the date or price. What I can remember is that they were on time, explained everything they were going to do and did it. The light is working prefectly and I plan to call Bayside back to have more work done.

It would have been a long wait if he had come later. I don't try to do electrical work myself, so I was happy I didn't have to use an extension cord from inside the house after that.

Excellent. They were very professional. We bought a package through Angie's list. They arrived a few minutes late but worked so quickly they made up the time. It turned out the job was much more complicated than any of us thought (die to the strange configuration of our ceiling joists), but they figured it out and the quality of the work for the 4 ceiling lights were excellent. They even cleaned up afterwards!

Replaced lighting fixtures. I highly recommend Tony. This was a repeat call for service from Bayside. Highly recommended.

I purchased the special for bathroom fans. Bayside Electric was immediately responsive, came to my home and assessed the situation. They were completely honest that the deal didn't work for my situation. When I am ready to get the fans fixed I will certainly consider using Bayside to do the work. I was pleased that Angie's List refunded my payment in full.

The electrician noted that the replacement fan would require cutting sheetrock for it to work, and that it would cost more than what the Angie's List coupon covered. What he advised was that he could instead replace the fan motor in the old one, which is what went bad, and not only would the fan work again but it would not go against the coupon. The removal and replacement of the fan motor went well, was done quickly, and we are extremely happy with this company!

Bayside made it out for an estimate the day after I called and performed the work about a week later. This was no easy task. The unit I purchased for my bathroom was the Panasonic FV-11VHL2 which required a direct connection to the breaker panel. The unit is also very heavy and Bayside had no problem with my request to build a box for added support using some 2x4's. They arrived promptly in the middle of the 3-hour time window they gave and went straight to work. They offered two options for running the electric line (either in the wall or outside). I opted to have them run the wire through the wall and they made two small holes that they patched very nicely (I still have to add a coat of paint). They put in a switch for each of the 4 functions (light, fan, nightlight, and heater) and installed the unit in the bathroom ceiling. They also didn't leave a trace of mess, cleanup was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Bayside Electric and am planning on using them in the near future for some other minor electrical work.

He arrived before his scheduled time and had everything needed. I purchased an Angie's Deal to have an exhaust fan installed in my bathroom. The deal came with an exhaust fan but I already purchased my own. The exhaust fan that was installed in my bathroom (that I was having replaced) was not installed correctly so he had to do a little extra work but did not charge me more because I had purchased my own replacement. He was quick, professional, polite, and helpful. He cleaned up any mess and renewed my faith in contractors. I would and will use them again.

Tony and AJ arrived on time and was very professional throughout the whole process (emails, phone, in person, etc). I believe the fan that was removed was original equipment as my home was built in the 1950s. I wanted the replacement fan to have a light and expected a "small upcharge" as stated in advertisement. They removed the fan (accessed vent through attic) and went to purchase new exhaust fan. I was contacted by Tony (before purchase) informing me the fan would by an additional $180 ... a bit excessive but at this point; I had no fan. Gave him the OK; returned, and installed the fan. After a few weeks of use, i'm not impressed with the fan. In short, have to clear the air by either opening window or door. I later researched the fan and found its price to be substantially less. Not really sure how to calculate Angieslist savings and will most likely replace it in the future.

The providers arrived on time, removed our old bath fan and installed a new fan. The installation of the new fan was a bit more complicated since they had to access the attic in order to attach the fan housing. They did an escellent job in about one hour.

I was out of the office, but one of my staff called me and said that when she turned on the front office light (overhead ceiling fan/light) it started sparking. I got on Angie's List, found Bayside Electric, called them and they were in the office that morning and repaired the damaged lighting. Quick response, fixed what needed fixing, and at a fair price. Would definitely use again.

Bayside Electric arrived on time, and did a great exhaust fan installation. I asked questions and the answers were provided. They were fast and very efficient. They kept me abreast of what was happening every step of the process. When they were finished they showed me the old fan and left the premises clean. One thing I was pleased with was how the newer fan, which was smaller then the old fan, installation was done so well that the entire opening in the ceiling was closed. I would definitely use them again.

The Bad and the Ugly have been my previous experiences with electricians. Finally the GOOD showed up at my door. Our ceiling light, in the kitchen, broke and the light stayed in the on position. With great distress over having to find a reputable electrician, I started searching Angies List. The first company I tried, never even bothered to return my phone call. I hit the list again. I called Bayside Electric and within hours, my call was returned. An appointment was made, I am sure by squeezing me in, for early the next morning. Mr. Braun arrived, at the expected time, with his son. They showed up in a well marked truck and in their Bayside shirts. Within 15 minutes, the problem was fixed. I was so happy with their professionalism and courtesy, I asked Mr. Braun to give me and estimate on other work we need done. I highly recommend Bayside Electric and have no doubt the larger jobs would be completed with the same satisfaction.

He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, professional and did a good job. I ended up hiring him to do some additional electrical work for me.

They put in an exhaust fan in our master bathroom which was sorely needed. Quickly done, an hour and a half and they were done. Cost an extra $150 due to the fact there was no tubing from an existing fan. They also cleaned up pretty well, which seems to be rare among electricians. Would definitely use again!

My husband was pleased with the service. He added lighting in a room, hallway, in a closet. He did the wiring and checked outlets to make sure they were working.

we had them come through an Angie's list big deal. the service was fine but I felt like I was bothering the technician as I went through my list of things to be looked at. One area where the connection had been a problem, he hooked a monitor up, said it was fine, and the lights went out again 2 weeks later. I wanted to really like them so I had an electrician to call , but they aren't the right company for me.

Bayside contacted us, made an appointment and visited us, looked at the existing ceiling fan, pointed out the damage to the ceiling that would occur if they were to replace the fan, suggested they could replace the motor instead, which seemed to be what was rattling, located and priced a motor,indicated that they would replace the motor for $330, provided we got a refund from Angie's list for the $249 for the Big Deal, but charge us $400 if we failed to get the Angie's list refund.

I had a problem with the lights in my ceiling fans. Tony from Bayside arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem. Previously, I had another electrician to come just to tell me that my only option was to replace the fans. Tony found that the fans could be repaired. He gave me an estimate which I received the same say. On the day of repair, Tony and his son came and did an outstanding job! He even showed me what the problem was that caused them to go bad and what I could do to prevent it. I would definitely use them again. Their professionalism and expertise was second to none!

I called on a Monday, and Tony immediately offered to come out. Unfortunately, I needed to buy a new porch light fixture so asked if he could come on Tuesday. He and an assistant AJ showed up promptly when they said and were extremely courteous and efficient, evening running out to get light bulbs to check products when I didn't have any. They cleaned up quickly and left within an hour and a half. I was extremely happy with the service and the pricing. Would definitely recommend and will use again if needed.
