The gentleman did a good job, but I was disappointed that we only had an hour of work for him to do when we purchased two hours at the promotional rate. Additionally, he gave us the impression that he wasn't up to the task of working on a larger project and charging us the difference.

He came out on time and was very professional. He emailed a proposed bathroom plan, but since I really didn't want a remodel, I just wanted update, he refunded me the $75. WOW. That was very impressive. The proposed update cost was much higher than what we want to spend - 20K. I have emailed several times asking if he wanted to just do several specific items/updates to the bathroom to lower the cost and I have never heard back from him so I guess that's a no.

He checked out the whole home electrical system, found 2 loose connections, replaced an burned out outlet and fixed ouyr ceiling fan. He was very professional, timely and explained everything in detail.

Everything went well. They cleaned up after themselves, did the work as promised, and were actually proactive in scheduling the service.

It was great! The gentleman was very professional, worked quickly and neatly, and did an excellent job.

They checked and changed sockets. I think they were excellent! They came in and went straight to the problem area. I didn't give them an opportunity to do anything else.

Tony was responsive from the time I purchased the "big deal" to completion of the job. We agreed on a work date, he was quick, personable and cleaned up after the work was completed.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. I was hoping to find an electrician that we would feel comfortable using again and again, and I did! Tony said he'd arrive between 10:00 and 2:00 and he was here at noon. He was professional and friendly and listened as I explained what I wanted done. He made some very good suggestions that I had not thought of to replace the track lighting I was having him remove. My husband and I were tired of looking at the old and outdated fixtures and really didn't want to replace them with more track lighting. Tony suggested recessed lighting to take advantage of the wiring that was already there. We hadn't even thought of that and once he explained how it would look, it sounded like a really good idea. He went ahead and removed the old fixtures and took care of the plug. I had some questions about installing a ceiling fan where there currently is no lighting or fan and mentioned that we were getting ready to paint. He suggested we hold off on the painting until the fan was installed because that would involve a few small holes in the wall. Another good suggestion! All in all, I felt he was respectful, efficient, and I appreciated his willingness to offer suggestions. He wrote notes about the other work I need done and took my e-mail and sent me a detailed estimate the next day.

Tony arrived on time. Clean cut guy who presents well. He cleaned the work area upon finishing the job in 2 hours. Kept me appraised of what he was doing and any additional costs for wire etc. Will use Tony again when needed and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

They were nice and clean. They changed the appointment at my request and I even had to change it a second time, he was great with this. He did the work. In order to put light into the closet he had to damage the drywall, in several places. He patched these holes and put a coat of spackle on it.

After I purchased my deal, Tony called so that we could schedule. I was waiting for my new fixtures to arrive by mail and told him that I would contact him at that time to schedule and we did. We spoke the morning that he was to arrive, he gave me an approximate time of arrival where he was punctual. He surveyed the issues I was having, looked up into the fixture and could readily assess that the socket was in bad shape. He changed out the fixture and proceeded to the back porch where he installed the second fixture. Tony was very knowledgeable and personable. After I discussed my dimmer not working right, he checked the fixture and advised me that i was using the wrong type of bulbs in my foyer. The bulbs were not designed to work with a dimmer switch, thereby causing the dimmer to humm. I seeked his opinion on some electrical possibilities regarding an addition to my deck in the near future. He readily provided feedback and proposed something to me that I hadn't even considered doing. All-in-all, everything went very well and I was pleased with the work and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work performed.

As soon as I purchased my Big Deal, I received a follow-up call and email from the company to get my appointment set up. They were very courteous and professional on the phone and set up a time that was convenient to my schedule. Mr. Braun was here right on time and got to work quickly. He installed the light, patched the wall and cleaned up his mess. There was an additional minimal charge for the supplies that were needed but we discussed that in advance so there were no surprises there. I will definitely use this company again. I purchased an Angie's list deal, $99 for 2 hours of work (parts extra). Within 2-3 hours Tony called me to discuss my needs and set up an appointment. On the day of the service, he arrived on-time (a little early, in fact, since I was the first stop of the day). We walked through the house while I pointed out each of my concerns. He started by checking out a recessed light fixture over the kitchen sink which had been intermittently cutting off. He verified that the fixture was OK, just overheating because we were using a higher wattage bulb for better lighting over the sink. He explained that the fixture had an internal switch to shut itself off when it got too hot, and advised using a CFL bulb to get the light we need without overheating the fixture. We then moved to the major task. I was unhappy with the house GFI wiring because we only had one GFI outlet in the garage controlling the entire house. This meant that whenever the outlet in the upstairs bathroom wasn't working, I had to go down two flights of stairs to hit the reset button in the garage. Also my FIOS line box was plugged into this outlet so whenever the GFI tripped, FIOS would lose power and we would lose internet and TV. Tony traced the GFI system, opening each GFI-controlled outlet to identify the true system configuration, and then explained the layout to me and we discussed the possible solutions. I told him what I wanted and he did it (isn't that the definition of good service?). He installed three new GFI-switched outlets in the upstairs bathrooms, and replaced the garage outlet with a non-switched outlet. Now I have switched outlets where they are most convenient and non-switched where switches would not be convenient. Finally, I had Tony replace a standard wall outlet that had become so loose that the plugs were just falling out. Tony finished all this work in far less than the 2 hours the deal was for, so if I had any more tasks he could have done those as well. It was a rainy day and he was careful to remove/replace his shoes every time he came in and went out to his truck to get tools or parts. For parts, he charged $85 for five outlets (3 GFI switched). He was careful to clean up all trash, even the tiniest wire clippings. All he left behind was a business card and a very satisfied customer.

Arrived as scheduled; was so very courteous and knowledgeable. Went right to work - knew all the requirements of assembly and was very efficient. The fan was up and running in very little time. Will use Bayside Electric for all our electrical needs in the future.

It went great. I purchased a $99.00 coupon on Angie's List for two hours of electrical service. He arrived a few minutes early, which was great for me. He immediately went to work installing a new receptacle. After that, we still had some time left, so I asked him to look at a ceiling fan that was giving us problems. He knew how to fix it, and did so. No problems. I would definitely recommend them.

We were told that they would be here between 7 am and 9 am. They arrived at 7:02 am (not a problem for us) and he promptly went to work. He was very professional. He completed the job in under one hour. He completed cleaned up and did a great job. I would highly recommend Bayside Electric.

Arrived on time. Very professional. Installed unit according to code and instructions. Repaired drywall and cleaned up. Could not ask or expect for more. Very pleased.

Tony gave me a window of opportunity for the day of the week to perform the initial 2 hours, but told me he would call when on the way so I could go to work. He ended up being early. He discovered a problem when he began the installation of the fan which he traced back to a faulty socket on the wall that could have caused a fire! The fan is up, the problem fixed and mess cleaned up. I have an estimate for the rest of the work and will be bringing Tony back to complete the work very soon. I highly recommend this contractor!

The company responded to my request almost immediately and I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. The technician was on time as promised, and was very courteous. He tested the main panel and found a very loose connection to the main switch. Once that was corrected, the problem was resolved. However, he was not ready to leave until he felt confident that the problem was fully resolved, and continued testing possible triggers to see if he could recreate the issue. After he fully satisfied that the problem was corrected and because of the additional time left over, he tested other electrical outlets to be sure that there were no other potential issues with the electrical wiring within the home. I would highly recommend this firm for any residential electrical work. They even offer monetary rewards for referrals.

Easy story to tell. They showed up on time to review the project and develop an estimate. They provided the estimate within a few days. They arrived on time for the scheduled work to be done. They immediately got to work and didn't stop until it was finished. They cleaned up after themselves.

Wonderful experience. Tony came to us through our home warranty - which is why I only paid $60.00, our deductible. Tony showed up the day after I called, on time and ready to go. We moved into our new house only a month ago and I wasn't familiar with the house - one of my issues was simply a GFI switch that had been tripped. I felt so silly when he fixed that problem in under 5 minutes. Another problem - we had a panel of 6 light switches that worked intermittently, then stopped working. He had to do some troubleshooting to find the root of the other problem. He figured it out very quickly and replaced a bad breaker in our fuse box. He also inspected an outlet and a switch to make sure they were safe - I had some concerns....he poked around and assured me everything looked great.

They contacted me to tell me exactly when the technician would be onsite. None of this between this and this stuff. THey said 9am, he rang the bell at 9am!! Oustanding!!
