Description of Work: I had 6 recessed lights and a wall switch installed (4 as part of an Angies list big deal). It went great! The electrician, Robert, was on time. He provided guidance on the placement of the lights. He covered the work areas before cutting into the ceiling and did a thorough cleanup afterward. There was very little patching remaining after their job was complete.

Description of Work: Electricians came to replace two old ceiling fans with two new ones. They found that one of the old fans was not in an adequately secured box, so they had to replace the box with a new one that was supported by ceiling joists. Friendly and knowledgable. One fan however had a wobble at high speed that they could not correct.

Description of Work: I was in the process of purchasing my house with a scheduled settlement date of 12 Jun 15. We needed to install some additional GFI outlets in the garage and basement and wanted them installed before our furniture shipment was delivered, which was scheduled for 17-18 Jun 15. I initiated the "Big Deal" on 8 Jun, requesting three service date options of 15-17 Jun. I received a message from the company on 9 Jun stating that the company would be "glad to come out on Monday 15 Jun". On Monday, 15 Jun I called the company asking what time they would be out and found out they did not have me scheduled for 15 Jun but said they could be out the next day on 16 Jun. That was fine with me as it was still within my window before the furniture delivery. Later on that day, Anna from the company called and stated they were sorry but could not provide the service for any day that week (15-19 Jun). I was very unhappy as I had been planning since the previous week to have the work done before the disruption and distraction from all the the moving and furniture delivery activities. I am not pleased with the response/service promised but not delivered and do not want to do business with this company again. I am requesting a full refund since there was no service provided at all.

Description of Work: Shipp and Bailey installed 4 recessed lights in our living room and wired them to a wall panel with a dimmer. It added much needed light to our space and updated our 1980's townhouse with a much more modern look. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I got a call when they were en-route and they arrived during their appointment window. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and everything was completed correctly. I'd definitely recommend them for any electrical work.

Description of Work: Removed original light and replaced with four (4) recessed LED lights. The original offer was for $249, which included four recessed lights. However, LED lights were offered for an additional cost of $200 with no discount given for the original order: therefore, the lights cost $200 and the labor cost $249. My initial reason for placing the order was for the attractive pricing!

Description of Work: It went well. I was made aware of some upgrades(w/o pressure) which I selected then added a few extras myself. The electricians were informative, pleasant and got the job done with no muss or fuss. Would use them again and would recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: I purchased the special of 4 recessed lights with a dimmer switch. The process from start to finish was very professional. The office staff setting up the appointment was super friendly and very helpful. I was attempting to match existing lights, and they were kind enough to match photo's I sent them. The electricians were very punctual, friendly and neat. I did ask to have a 5th light put in, which cost half of what it cost for the original 4, which I thought was a little steep, but they were able to do it that same day, and with the savings from the special, it was still worth it. We did have an issue with the dimmer switch that they initially installed, but I called, and they sent someone out the next business day to correct it, at no additional charge. I would absolutely use their services again.

Description of Work: The company tried to add on an additional $200 for installing the lights, they claimed it was due to plaster finish ceilings. This would put the cost at retail value.
