Everything turned out very well. They worked very quickly and I appreciated that. They cleaned everything up. They got the job done in one day. There were no problems with scheduling.

Initially they were very responsive, cooperative, and very helpful. They had to come back once the oven was ready to be installed and hook it up to the box. They got the first oven in, and they didn’t have the materials needed to install the second oven. We had to reschedule for another time get the second oven installed. I’m in the middle of a kitchen remodel and needed to find a time that would work around the other contractors. We did have to reschedule the second oven installation twice. When the owner comes out everything is fine, but communication between the owner and the workers was not always correct. Everything is now fine and not a problem.

The service was pretty good. They were very quick and efficient in getting the job completed in a timely manner. The workers were very courteous and professional. They got the job done in about 4 hours.

It worked out pretty well. They two young men were very nice and called ahead and let me know when they were coming. I gave them the list that I wanted them to do. He informed me that he couldn’t install the ceiling fan because he thought that there might be a gas line there. I don’t think they were that experienced. Some of the work was really great and some of it was sloppy. I called them and spoke with Jerry and they really wanted to make sure that I was satisfied, and they came back out to try and make right of everything. They wanted to make sure that I was satisfied, and even gave me an extra hour. Also the cost of the materials was unexpected and I didn’t think it would be that high. They could’ve given me a rough estimate of what the materials were going to cost.

It went great. The electricians were polite and were willing to do whatever I asked. They even cleaned my chandelier which was a real bonus. I would not hesitate to call them again!

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went great. The technicians were very professional, they were prompt, they answered all my questions upfront, cleaned up after themselves, and did a very good job of doing what I asked them to do. I paid extra for parts.

Richard and Mike showed up on time and ready to get the job done. They worked with me to setup a media closet and route and conceal wires for ceiling speakers, surround sound wall plates and most importantly a dedicated circuit for the media components and the TV above the fire place for a nice built-in look. They worked diligently and were open to collaborating on how to solve the tricky wiring scenario we had to make it look as nice as possible while minimizing the amount of repair work needed to close up the holes needed to route the wires and drill through plates/joists. This was very significant as I was able to do the drywall repairs quickly and easily after they left - you can't tell where the work was done. They were also courteous and made sure to clean up once they were done and left the house in great shape considering the work that had taken place. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

They showed up on time and ready to work. They assessed the scope of the work and dug right in. Everything that we set out to get fixed was completed. They even installed a light in our shed when all that I was expecting was an outlet. Nice touch! I would recommend Baily and Shipp to any of my friends.

Perfectly. All of the work was done correctly and promptly. Both workmen were completely professional and friendly and they answered all of my questions. I will be hiring them again to replace more light fixtures. I have complete confidence in their expertise and trust them to not only do excellent work.

Added 2 outlets in the basement and 3 outlets in the garage. Also replaced outlets and cover plates in the master bedroom.

They did a good job. Richard was the name of the technician who came and they completed almost all the items, but we didn't have some of the parts that they needed. They sent him with just the parts for the job, but we needed different ones, so, we got the extra two parts that were needed and he finished on time. I think everything was done well. He was efficient, nice and effective, but it would have been nice if he'd had the parts. We had put ceiling fans on the list, and didn't have the boxes, and he didn't have them to mount the fans so we had to go out and get those. Everything else was fine. There were no additional costs.

Richard and Mike were great. They worked very hard and was happy to have my help here and there. It was a lot a work for 3 people to perform in 4hrs, but it all got done. I'm very please with the results. A+

We had purchased the Electrician for the day $400 deal. we had 3 ceiling fans installed. the guys showed up on time and got right to work. they were quick and efficient. with the extra time on the deal we had them add on ceiling lights in our living roon. we paid extra for a little more time and the lights, but it was worth it. thanks!

Great. The two electricians showed up on time and went right to work. In fact, I didn't know they would work so fast and I didn't have enough for them complete the required hours. They changed out all of my light old switches; replaced an outdoor motion dectection light, installed a new electrical outlet; installed a sensor in my ceiling fan for a remote control, and covered a old switch plate. They couldn't complete one of the jobs because I didn't have the right light fixture and another job wasn't completed because I didn't want them going up into the hot attic (with insulation in it) on this hot 90+ degree day. I was very pleased with these two young men and their work ethics. I will definitely call Bailey & Shipp when I need an electrician in the future.

As I said, the circuit breaker issue turned out to be very involved but they stuck with it until it was fixed. They answered my questions and were very professional. They also cleaned up debris before they left. I would difinitely use them again.

Work was completed in a professional manner. However, they had to leave twice to get parts including a different type of smoke detectors which were part of the original request I had provided to them in advance along with the new city regulations regarding smoke detectors. Better advance communications from them would have reduced my costs.

Workman arrived late because he had difficulty finding our house. He finally called to get directions. Later, we learned that the time he spent trying to find our address was included in the 8 hours we'd paid for with the Big Deal. Workman was polite and professional but had to go to Home Depot for supplies even though I'd given detailed information about the work to be done when confirming the appointment on the phone. Other contractors we've hired had basic things like outlets and electrical wire in their trucks. The trips to Home Depot ate into our 8 hours of Big Deal. The work involved removing tiles from the kitchen backsplash wall. Workman was concerned about neatness of removal but we assured him that we are planning to remodel kitchen and all the old tiles will be removed and replaced so he should just do whatever was necessary to get the new outlets installed with a minimum of fuss. He was cooperative in this. He removed the tiles with minimum damage to wallboard. Workman did sweep up most of the debris from cutting into the wallboard but after he left, there was still some mess on the counters and floor below the new outlets.

At the beginning of September, I was given a mid October date, after buying the special Bailey and Shipp had. I believe what happened is that when they started with their offer, they were flooded with calls. But a month is just too long. However, they did try to give me dates, one on the day of the call, then about a week later. It is the visit a week later that really troubled me. The biggest problem is that they owed me 5 hours of work, and the electrician brought a trainee, who had difficulty installing plug outlets. The electrician had to finish those outlets for him. This is a simple job, and that one "electrician" couldn't even replace a plug outlet told me that I had been taken advantage of. Instead of 5 hours, I received at best 3 hours, with 2 hours being wasted by the trainee (if he was one). I have seen electricians install and it goes quite fast. This trainee was not competent, and was being verbally tutored by the electrician, who finally had to do the work himself. One of the outlets was not moved. Now I face a delay in installing the drywall, then a further delay in the tile work because this outlet has not been moved as I requested. However, the electrician did say I forgot to remind him. They did offer to financially pay for the corrections.

The work was done fine, pursuant to a deal that I bought on Angie's List, and quickly, but the electrician was not neat and I was overcharged for parts. He did not clean up his mess at all. One example: the shower stall (He fixed the light in it.) floor was left full of insulation that fell from the attic when he fixed the light. He had to supply a fixture and parts, and I think that I was overcharged for them.

I had bought an Angies list coupon deal for 8 man hours of work. The employee electrician who came included travel time to the "work" - and stopped working leaving about 30 min of work not completed.. I discussed this with the owner of the company, who in response came personally to finish the work. The quality of the work was excellent executed with great competence. The owner is very honorable and ethical.

Richard was wonderful, he was professional--courteous and on time. All of my lights are on, and my doorbell works. So you can't have a better experience than that. Thanks!

Had some minor issues with my doorbell install (wireless doorbells are not terribly reliable), but made arrangements to come back on a different date to do a hard wire install.
