I received professional and courteous service from both the scheduler and the actual electrician, Ashton. Unfortunately, when he inspected the room, he said that because the ceiling was not drywall, he needed to check with the office to confirm the amount of the additional cost. When Ashton got back to me, he said that the job would cost an additional $200-250. I was pleased that this was communicated up front, but could not shell out the additional cost.

Went well. Electrician came on time, got the work done in a timely way, and was very pleasant. The lights look really nice and the switch works perfectly. As with most AL Big Deals, there is always an up-sell. In this case it was to upgrade to LEDs. I did not bite, and was very happy with the work.

The team was very prompt at scheduling my appointment, answering my pre set up questions and arriving for my installation appointment. The electrician walked me through the install process and guided me where to place the fixtures. He also convinced me to replace 2 older fixtures in the same room. The installation went smoothly and we are happy with the lights. My only complaint is that I felt like there was a lot of selling. I'm happy with the upgrade but my big deal ended up costing me 3xs more than i anticipated and the upgrade costs seemed higher than I expected (compared to a similar fixture from Home Depot.) I would do the work again, just might shop around the price ( or anticipate the up selling on the big deal.)

This was awesome! The company was very professional. . He was very friendly, on time, and tidy. He cleaned up after the fact and I was not even able to tell he was there. I would recommend them to others.

The people who I spoke to in planning and scheduling the work were friendly and helpful. The installation went smoothly and was well done. I will be calling them for future electrical work!

They did a good job. However I did need to pay an extra $60 for a part that they needed. He was supposed to come back in the evening to put the part in he forgot, and the owner sent him back the next day. It works very well.

This provider completed the service on time and without any fuss. It was easy to schedule and they were responsive, which is hard to find sometimes in a vendor.

We had 6 recessed LED's installed along with a ceiling fan in our nursery. The technician did a fabulous job, everything looks great! He was able to do the work without requiring drywall repair. We would definitely recommend Bailey & Shipp for your electrical/lighting needs.

Very expensive quote to reschedule appointment due to incremental unplanned drywall costs associated with getting the lights, which i had not planned for,hence I am cancelling the deal.

The tech came out and mentioned that there would be drywall holes afterwards and someone else would need to follow up. I said I would find someone and reschedule. When I rescheduled they were going to charge me again.

The worker came early/on time. He installed 4 recessed lights on the first floor. I already had electric in the ceiling so he did not have to fish a wire from the electric switch. He did have to make 2 holes in the ceiling in order to run the wire to where it was needed (it was greater than 5 feet - the size of the drill bit). He put 2 plates over those holes. He made sure that he kept the place clean. He did an excellent job and I am happy with the outcome.

The service technician Ashton was great! Very professional and a master of his craft. The works was completed as advertised and we are thrilled with the results.

Bailey and Shipp exceeded all of my expectations, particularly in terms of the price, convenience, and flexibility with which they were able to install after-market recessed lighting. Ashton was extremely courteous and knowledgeable throughout the process, left no mess, and answered all of my questions. I purchased the lights in the MBR as part of a "Big Deal" and upgraded to eyeball fixtures for an extra two hundred dollars. In that case I had a spare pre-wire that was unused from the ceiling fan installation. Bailey & Shipp completed that work in March. I was sufficiently impressed that I inquired about the cost to do similar work in two other bedrooms. In both cases there was only a switched outlet, but Ashton cleverly snaked a wire to those wall switches and converted them to dimmers for the overhead lights, all without tearing up any drywall. My neighbor saw their truck in the driveway and called that day. I'm not sure what she had done, but she thanked me for inadvertent referral.

I tried to talk to them about other stuff as well as the recessed lights but all they would ever talk to me about was the lights. They had a one track mind and that's all they cared about.

This contractor is a nightmare and should not be on Angies List. This contractor did not finish the job that they were contracted to do despite the fact that they were contracted Angie's list. When we called them the workman apologized and promised to return the next but the owner called screaming that the work should been inspected before his employee left our home. I have been using Angie's list and this contractor was the worst that we have ever encountered .

Everyone we interacted with from the company was professional and friendly. The tech arrived over an hour late (had to call to find out that he was running late from the preceding job). He completed our job quickly and we were happy with the results. Few nitpicks - first, he didn't have a plate to cover the spot where the old hanging light was so there was a small hole in the ceiling after the job. Second, there are some (rather small, but visible) imperfections in the drywall where the holes were cut for the lights that aren't completely covered by the housing for the new lights. Aside from these issues, was a great experience, we would certainly use this company again.

I never let them install the job due to added expense of having patch drywall and hire a painter. Company was very nice about this.

First of all, I provided feedback once on this company and Angie's lost it...as they often do. Because Bailey and Shipp is SO excellent, I filled this out again. The young man who came to install our lights was amazing -- I upgraded to the LCD lights so they will never need to be changed. He went through the attic of our 10' tall rooms and installed the lights so we didn't need auxiliary panels on the walls. He was done within 2 hours or less -- he brought drop cloths to cover the furniture and swept up afterward. I asked if we should buy extra lights and he clearly stated we didn't need them. We got an incredible value for the money. In fact, they are coming back on 2 April to install ceiling fans with lights into bedrooms which are a great value. I bought the fans and he will do the electrical work. Bailey and Shipp will now be my go-to company for electrical work.

Sarah called and scheduled an appointment for installation. There was a big snow storm the day of installation and Sarah called the night before to reschedule. The technician Ashton showed up on time as scheduled. He was polite and professional. He walked me through the process and asked if I had any questions. He completed his work and reviewed it with me. Everything was great. I have a great deal of confidence in Ashton and Bailey & Shipp and recommend them highly.
