Description of Work: The guy was very nice, however, he wrote a contract explaining everything that was wrong. He said we basically need to get all the plumbing redone in both bathrooms. He gave me an extremely high price. He said he was going to caulk before he left to prevent a leak. He didn't caulk anything, he said he would be back to fix the problems which he never came back. I was told $59 for a service fee but ended up paying $167.

Thank you for posting your review. We're sorry you were not satisfied with the outcome. I have checked into your situation and would like to clarify a few details. Yes we have a dispatch fee of $59 which gets the licensed technician to your home in a fully stocked, warehouse on wheels size truck. When the required repairs to an ongoing situation were discussed it was indicated you were planning to redo both bathrooms and requested pricing for that work. You have extensive issues with your bathroom drains and traps requiring drain assembly replacements as well as repiping needs. The technician caulked around the shower control valve and the tub spout while he was there providing time to speak with your husband about the needed and desired work. The total cost included the dispatch fee as well as time spent evaluating the situation and performing the caulking. We were over paid by $9 which we had planned to take off the work when we returned. Since that has not happened, we will send you a check today 5/20/13 for the over payment. Again, we're sorry you were unhappy with the outcome our services.

Description of Work: We called Putman at 6am on a Saturday before our summer vacation for a pinhole leak. The 24hr answering service took our information and Patrick was calling us back 15 minutes later. He arrived at our house about an hour after that as promised. The work was done professionally and quickly. The pricing was completely straight-forward and easy to understand. Patrick provided a clear explanation of what he was going to do and why our pipe was leaking. I certainly recommend his services.

Description of Work: Had work on two toilets. One was leaking from tank and the other was not flushing very well. Frank did an great job taking care of both problems. Next time I need any plumbing needs I will call Putman Plumbing and to make sure to ask for Frank.
