Larry and his crew upgraded our under cabinet lighting with new LED lighting, and specialized outlet. Not only was our home and its contents treated as if they lived here, the job was done professionally. So much so, that the only issue we had was when the switch/outlet face plate screws came loose. I didn’t even bother calling Larry, I tightened them myself. The lighting is on, literally 24 hours per day since the install, with zero issues. Love these guys.

If you're looking for an honest electrical company, look no more. Larry is completely honest and I can't recommend him high enough. He had a prime opportunity to not only charge me for a service call but to charge for parts and labor on a very simple fix. He walked me through it over the phone when other electrical companies were more than happy to come to my home and charge me for the service call and God only knows what else. Thanks Larry! You're the best!

OK.. this was my first experience using Provident Electric and I now know why they have been voted Frederick's Best ( Frederick Magazine ). I had contact with them before, once when the owner Larry came out and gave me a great estimate on a generator which I am buying as soon as possible, and the other when I had an electrical problem that magically cleared up when his techs entered the house. ( I"m not saying that Provident has supernatural abilities but ......) This fix I needed was two of my lines from the breaker box were showing open grounds and Provident sent out two technicians, Joel and Nick. They worked together really well and I was impressed with their attention to the details and even more importantly how they were insistent on letting me know the why and how they were fixing it. Once they got the problem fixed, they discovered an another electrical issue dealing with a rodent chewing into my line and fixed it. Bonus: It was about half the price I expected too and I have used a lot of electricians in my time as a landlord. From my experiences with Larry, Brittany, Joel and Nick, it's obvious that Provident cares a lot about customer service and frankly, I don't see you'd use anyone else.

Met with the owner, Larry, to discuss scope. The scope includes some repairs to cables in the attic and we would not know how much repair was required until the electricians checked all the cables. Therefore I decided to go on a cost-reimbursable (by the hour) payment rather than try and do as a lump sum. At the time I met Larry I also described some other items that I'd probably have his team work on if they finished the attic work early. Larry gave me an approx. estimate of what he thought it would cost - he was about right. We arranged a schedule up front and the 2 guys arrived on time. They completed the attic work quickly (there wasn't as much damage as I feared) and then I asked them to complete the rest of the items listed above. They worked efficiently and got a lot done in the 8 hours. They were professional and knowledgeable and advised me of options on materials and routings of cables etc before they started the work on each item. They did a good job in cleaning up the work areas. I was very happy with their performance and will use them again.

Got ‘’ball park’’ quote over the phone scheduled work. Requested permit work performed. Bill was slightly less than estimate. Passed inspection job well done.

They were excellent workers. I am very happy with them. It was a reasonable amount. They were very reasonable in their charges. The people are wonderful. We wouldn't call anybody else. The owner comes and makes sure everything's going right. I couldn't say enough good things about them. They're reliable. They contact you when you call them. They come right back when there's something that's not right.

I would highly recommend Provident Electric! They were very professional from the initial phone call to the performance of all the work. They even had some great cost-saving ideas to fix some wiring issues throughout the house. I plan to use them for any electrical work in the future!
