Found Provident on Angie's List after not getting call back from electrician we usually use. Provident was great all around from A to Z.

Provident did the work efficiently, replacing only what was needed rather than redoing the entire job, which saved me money and time. I would definitely use them again.

I got a phone call in advance letting me know truly were on their way. They arrived on time, went polite and spared no time getting the job completed promptly and politely.

We were able to schedule the job within two days of calling and they were the best price around. KT and Craig hit traffic on the way over, and called to tell me they thought they'd be late. They weren't, but I definitely appreciated the call. I had purchased a fan kit in advance, but the kits's downrod wasn't long enough for our slanted ceiling. KT volunteered to run to the Home Depot and get one that was long enough. They had the fan changed quickly and charged exactly what they said they would...no extra charge for the time it took to go to Home Depot. KT helped me fix some dimmer switches in my kitchen, which needless to say, was NOT part of the job. They were great. I cannot say enough good things about them. You want a reliable and professional electrician? Call Provident.

The repairs were completed by 3 technicians. The entire process took less than 2 hours. Arrived on time and provided great customer service. Prices very reasonable.

I had my light fixture replaced in May but after a few weeks it went out. I called the office to report the outage on Wednesday 22 July2015 , was able to get an appointment the following day. Larry did the job, he was very professional, warm and kind. He trouble shooted and was unable to get it working. So he told me to get another light while he gets lunch. So i went to Home Depot & purchase another one.There was a defect in the first one , now my light is working perfectly. When the job was done i said how much do i owe you , he said nothing i was shocked because you do not meet people like Larry nowadays . I know some other provider would have charged a fee. Being an angies list member i had a discount the first time but they were the most reasonable . I will definitely recomend this company to co workers & friends. Thanks again Larry.

They were great. Showed up earlier than scheduled which was not a problem at all. Katie was very professional, listened to my explanation and set about repairing it. From start to finish was less than a hour

Electricians were on time, all work was done in a professional manner. Obvious as to know what problems we had, repairs & installations preformed.

There were two service folks that came to the home timely. They went right to work and were done quickly and efficiently. Since the fan was slightly over the bed I told them they may need to stand on it to install the fan. They wanted to be sure not to cause any debris and asked to cover the spread. No worries and efficient. They explained how to work the LED fan completely. I only caught one name of the workers which was Katie Sadler since she gave me her card. However both people that came were excellent. I must commend Larry the owner. I sent an email to him Friday evening and he said he would call on Saturday to schedule the appointment. I work in a high service industry and I see a lot of people that say they will call and do not. But Larry did and coordinated the day and time. I also asked about some additional work that I could have done and they took the time to show me the options to do the work. The time they took to show me what could be done is customer service. Most folks today just want to get the work done and leave. Please call this service to do any work. If it is worth having done then they are the ones! Ralph and Judy Lane

Very responsive and professional. He made other suggestions about the electrical work. His price was almost half of other Angie's List electricians. He also did a safety inspection. Great work!

Fixed cable line and light in basement.

The electrician was very kind. Since I paid for a whole hour, he also replaced a switch for an electric heater in my bathroom.

Katie & Sottie, the electricians, were on time and pleasant as I briefed them on location of circuits not working. It was a complicated task and they succeeded in locating the intermittent cause and fixing it.

Great, Two technicians showed up and began work. I was called in to view the original builders work. Really! My builder did not even have an electrical box to feed the lights just a wire. I was told some drywall would be removed to feed the wires for the 2 lights. OK.. Well they cut the wall ran the wires set the boxes and replaced the piece of drywall with the scraps. I now have 2 perfectly centered and level locations for my lights. They even left me some drywall scarps from the holes they cut to fill the hammer holes the original builder left. A great job from a great crew. My wife loved the sound of the Vac when they cleaned up whatever mess they made. I never saw the mess. Great! Great! Great! I/m looking for more electrical work just to have them back.....

I have used Larry and Provided electric for 13 years. This was a simple job, he was on time and efficient. Larry and his team were incredible during the storm 2 years ago when my power was out. His team even helped my neighbor to ensure their safety.

I put out a request for help doing some light electrical (replacing light fixtures) and installing a digital thermostat to four vendors: two HVAC and two electricians. Three of the four (all but Provident) replied to me early the next morning -- but these guys didn't acknowledge the contact at all. Their overall reviews on Angie's List were great, but this complete lack of responsiveness is very unprofessional. Suggestion: don't count of them to reply if you fill out their 'Contact Us' page!

He did come out and look at the situation outside the electrical box. My husband was happy and satisfied with what the man said. He said that the electric companies were sending letters to everybody to replace their electric boxes because they are supposed to be an electrical hazard. He gave my husband good advice on how to fix the situation himself.

Katie and Scotty showed up on time. They did a great job!! Very friendly and professional.

Provident Electric owner, Larry responded to my call and serviced my needs the same day. Quick, professional and efficient. Cost was reasonable. I will be hiring again in the near future. Very pleased with the service response. Highly recommend using this company.
