+ -1 moreEverything went fine. The only issue was the scheduling aspect, as the installation date was delayed several weeks. The craftsmanship was fine. He gave everything else as expected. They are nice and their prices were competitive.

Dave Muller was very responsive, courteous, and professional. Although I ultimately selected another company to do the work, I would recommend that anyone needing this kind of work done contact American Staircrafters for an estimate.

+ 0 moreIf you are looking for a professional for stair work/rail work...look to Dave. He is great. He was responsive, professional and neat/clean. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: We were remodeling an attic area and I had to replace the stairwell rail and hand rail up the stairs. We did not want the choices available at home Depot and Lowe's and found Dave at American Staircrafters. I was already using a contractor for the job and Dave provided beautiful maple components for the stairwell rail and hand rail. My contractor was to install the rail, and he did but he had a problem with the hand rail. I called Dave and asked him if he could come and install the hand rail. He installed the hand rail beautifully. I only wish that I had had him install the whole project. Lesson learned. Leave the job to the professional. Although I am happy with my contractor, Dave was the professional to do the entire stairwell/hand rail job.
