I was referred to Straight Edge Concrete by my 203k consultant. I spoke with Ricc and explained that there was water coming through the walls of my rowhome's basement. Rick was prompt to assess the issue and installed the french drain in one day for a total of $2000. After a few days we discovered there were still dampness issues arising from the initial wall and a wall on the opposite side of the basement. Ricc redid his previous work in order to raise the waffle board system and did the additional work to the 2nd weeping wall for $1200 more. Again this extra work only took one day. Also because I was doing a 203k it was required that Ricc perform his services before being paid, which was not a problem.
Description of Work: Installed french drain system in basement address weeping wall issues.

We had a lot of heavy rains during the time he was doing my job and it slowed his schedule down. I had no problem with that. He did a nice job on it and I would have him again. He was telling me that he does cement work for Mars Food Co. and also does patios and other related work. At a later date, I am going to have Ricky build a small deck for me over the cement pad. He seems very responsible and knows his work well. Both Ricky and Dave were friendly and pleasant and did a good job explaing how they would fix the area I wanted them to do.
Description of Work: I had a concrete pad and two railroad tie tiers removed from the back of my house. It was not in good shape and I wanted it replaced approximately the same as what was there. Ricky Sicca and his employee, Dave, put in a new 14' x 10' concrete pad and below that replaced two tiers with new 6 x 6 treated ties.
