Handy Man From Heaven

The contractors showed up on time. I wasn't happy that I had to pay for their time when they went to the store to buy a needed item. However, they did explain that to me up front.

It was for my rental property and they were good. They were reliable. He a couple of interior work. I went with because he had good ratings online.

Everything went very will. We were unable to find the support beam to hang a porch swing, but everything else was done well.

The original request was to trim 3" from a shelf that protruded into the stairwell and to remove the moldings in the doorway so a new washer could be moved into the basement. However, because of the two hour minimum, I added in the other items and then added an additional hour when I realized it was worth takinga advantage of him already being there and getting some things that had been on hold for some time taken care of. John was very careful and did a really nice job. After sawing off the shelf, he planed and then sanded the raw edge to get rid of any roughness or splinters that could snag. He also removed the door moldings very carefully so as not to gouge the door frame and tried to leave the nails in place so that I can put the moldings back on. He was also very careful with the chandelier, which was a bit time consuming, but he knew what he was doing. He was super careful about the ceiling (not to smudge). After each task he swept and cleaned up any dust that resulted from drilling. I would absolutely use them again and feel they were well worth the cost.

The handy men showed up right on time and explained everything to me. The job ended up being a little bigger than I had initially thought and they explained to me why that was. The work was very well done and I would definitely use them again

It went beautifully. I purchased new electric outlets and Mr. Javier replaced the old ones. The stubborn bi-fold doors are now opening smoothly! What a pleasure to have a pro do the work!

Contractor showed up on time. Painting of shudders went well. Power washing made the exterior look much better. Good deal for the investment.

Stephen the owner was prompt, called often and followed up. The repair man Javier was on time, fast and friendly. These guys are a little more money but worth it. Great job and I will use them again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful! Milton and his grew were the best! Took great care of my new hardwood floors, brought plenty of protection and drop cloths for the floor, and all were very polite. Very punctual.

It went great! From Stephen, the owner, to Milton and Geronimo, the crew, I got the best service possible. They squeezed us into their very busy schedule and started/finished on time. The quality of work was stellar! There were some very tricky angles in our ceilings and they were in bad shape. Now, they look like brand new construction and are impeccably painted. The guys cleaned up after themselves every night. They even offered to work on the 4th of July to help expedite the completion of the job. (I didn't make them work on the holiday :) ) I'm going to be calling them to do more work in my current home to get it ready for sale. I would suggest Handy Man from Heaven to anyone!

The company truck was up the street from my home. So, I decided to call and get an estimate. They were very professional however, he was not a professional painter. He did the job but it could have been done better. I would use the company again, but I will ask more questions the next time.

It was a good experience while communicating with Stephen Capello setting up an appointment. He told us to get the materials to save time and money. Leon showed up on time and was very nice. He did an excellent job replacing the soap dish which was difficult getting out the old broken one. We just felt that it took longer than we expected to do the grout and caulking. It took a total of 5 hours. There are some gaps with the caulking around the tub. My husband used KaBoom, which was recommended by Leon, and the tile looks very good. I think we would use them again.

The contracting went fine. We had an appointment that I had to cancel but I explained why and he was very gracious about it. I definitely will contact him again. His price were competitive, and he gave me an appointment pretty fast. He didn't do the work for me yet but there was nothing in our contact that will make me consider hiring somebody else once ready for the job again. I would give him A all the way down.

Wanted vendor to re-attach kitchen sink to granite counter top which was decoupled. They were unfamiliar with task and unwilling to attempt without some experience with it.

The people were fine, but I found them to be rather expensive. They charged $200 before they even walked in the door. I would not use them again because I found them too expensive. The person that came was wonderful.

Javier was so great. He answered every question that I had and was very friendly. He did a great job. I would definetly use them again. I also appreciated that they called me when they were 15 minutes out to let me know they were on their way and arrived in the given time frame. They were very quick and efficient.

From the minute I contacted them, the president responded immediately & kept me up to date on the status of the project. Javier arrived before expected & completed all phases of the project...even installing the plastic liner in the miserable weather. He was extremely considerate of my home & even removed his shoes so he wouldn't track debris into the house. I'm very pleased with their services & will certainly use them for future projects...even those that my normal contractor might do such as stripping wallpaper & painting. I highly recommend The Handyman From Heaven!

From start to finish, the president communicated how everything worked and continued until the job was completed. The gentleman that came to my house was excellent and hope to be able to get him again for future things at our home. I would recommend this company to all. Thank you Stephen!

Everything went very well. They arrived on time and went right to work. Nothing at all to complain about.

Due to a combination of a wind gust and an angry teen slamming it, I had a storm door literally hanging on by two nails. I was afraid I'd have to replace the entire front door assembly but Javier calmly examined it and said he could fix it. I was able to schedule the repair the same day, Javier arrived on time (actually a bit early) and fixed it in an hour, including doing a touch up paint job. The door works better than ever. The next day they called to check on the work. I was told up front that I'd have to pay for two hours minimum but they gave me a discount since it only took an hour.

The garage door opener stopped working the other day. A piece of plastic fell out. While I was trying to figure out how to get the door to work again I noticed that one of the beams above it had water damage, and in fact I could take a piece of rotten wood out of it with my bare hand. So I decided against spending more time under it trying to fix the opener. I called a contractor who referred me to Handy Man from Heaven. Stephen responded quickly to my phone call, and he was able to get Javier, his carpenter, out here a couple of days later. Handy Man from Heaven charges for the first two hours and then hourly after that. However, Javier was able to purchase the required pressure treated lumber and put the sister beam in place in under the two hours, so he also took a look at the garage door opener. With modest help from me, he figured out how to fix it. I don't know if I could have figured it out on my own, so he also saved me a call to a garage door repair company. And he completed the garage door repair inside of the original two hours as well, and did it all with a smile. Both Stephen and Javier were extremely pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend Handy Man from Heaven to my friends.

Leon is great! He is a wonderful handyman, very precise and thorough. There is definitely an art to his work and you will be pleased with the finished result. He is also kind and polite. I enjoyed working with him and will call on Handyman from Heaven again when needed. Stephen is superb in customer service and makes the experience pleasant from beginning to end. This company definitely lives up to their name!

Javier had all the proper tools and he did great job. My clock looks great. Also, I have an air conditioner in the basement that is in the window. Javier sealed the edges around it to keep dirt from coming in. He did another great job.
