I would use them again! They were excellent! I highly recommend them. They were so nice, polite and bent over backwards for me. No complaints at all.

The phone customer service was wonderful and answered all of my millions of questions patiently and thoroughly. They were very clear about their pricing structure up front because you pay on an hourly basis and they don't give estimates beforehand. I was able to schedule a handyman to come to our house in about 1.5 weeks from my initial call. The only thing they did not inform me which does make a difference when I use them in the future is that the 2 hour minimum charge for the handyman(men) only applies to the first visit. After this first job every time I hire one of their professionals we are only charged by the minimum hourly rate. Shawn told me that when he arrived and I thought that was really helpful info. Shawn arrived almost a half an hour early, which was awesome for us, and he was completely professional, nice to our kids, friendly, and didn't waste a second getting to work. Even while he answered my questions he worked quickly and thoroughly. Shawn even offered to show my how to install my own screens so I would be able to do it next time! Our front porch railing was chipping and rusty and black. He painted it the white we picked for our awning and he was meticulous with protecting the porch, walls, and ground around the area. The paint job is beautiful and makes a huge difference in our curb appeal. While he worked he talked to me about how my husband and I could do the second coat ourselves. He went so far as to offer to leave his roller for us to use! The awning we wanted to get painted turned out to be a more intensive job than we thought. Shawn explained the options to us and suggested we reschedule for 2 handymen to paint it. He even checked in with his office to see if they had an extra man to come down on the spot to help. My kids were super curious about what he was doing and spent a lot of time carefully watching and asking questions. Shawn was just as respectful and kind to them as he was to us. After he left the yard, porch, and front house area were spotless. Not a single piece of tape or even drop of paint remained as a sign anyone had been there. I fully plan on using Handyman From Heaven and requesting Shawn for many more jobs in and outside. I got great advice, suggestions, and service!

The work was well done and efficiently. the Handyman was professional, timely, polite and friendly. he suggested solutions to my issues and executed them very well. he has done everything from small fixit to installing curtain rods to building a deck gate for me. he was helpful is providing suggestions for my future projects.

I am extremely pleased. Everything was done well and efficiently. The expert craftsman that did my work was fabulous. This at the top of my list for the best service I have ever received. I had asked them to do many tasks. I ended up exhausting my patience and money as they completed one task albeit expensively. They replaced a few panels of rotten wood on one window. The handyman was slow. Used hand tools instead of power tools to cut through wall. Didn't have the tools to cut the new pieces in his truck and had to go home. Made many calls on phone with friend while on job over three days. Would move slightly faster if you stood there. His wife came over and was chatting. I was desperate for time and didn't want to wait for hiring a new guy and what a mistake that was. Called after job was done to ask for task breakdown and never got a call back. Handyman from H***! --Update-- The owner called me the next day to ask about my experience and the rating I had given. I explained to him in detail the various things that made me give the rating. He was understanding and apologized. I also asked him if it was the policy that the handyman would put away every tool and go to the truck write something down and come back with the bill which took easily an extra 30 minutes after the job and the cleanup wasn't even more than a minute. I also asked if it is the norm for the handyman to not have power tools to cut wood, drywall etc and if he has to make numerous trips to his truck which was eating away time. He was surprised by all that. He offered me a credit which I declined as getting some credit wasn't going to alter what had transpired. Also with a slow and inefficient handyman I said, it is difficult to quantify how slow one is and getting some credit wouldn't alter my experience. He said it would be unfair to rate based on one bad experience and I told Stephen that I can only rate on my experience.

This provider was an affiliate of a larger contractor whose motto is "If you're not happy, we're not done." I had used them several times before, as well as the larger contractor. There was a piece of flashing and a shingle that needed re-attached around a vent pipe on my roof. There was a handyman who came out, but he did not complete the repair, and I made several phone calls to the vendor to try to get it resolved. I received a lot of attitude from the gentleman who answered the phone and did the scheduling, and the repair was never completed. I finally had to call my original roofer, who repaired it quickly for a very low price. I was primarily put off by the nasty and uncooperative attitude of the man who coordinated the Handyman from Heaven visits, plus the fact that they never refunded me for the work that was not done. I have only recently joined Angie's List, and between the time of this job and the time of this review, Handyman from Heaven has been purchased by a new owner. I spoke with the new owner and will give them a chance to do work on my home, and then will provide a new review.

I needed a railing installed on my deck steps as quickly as possible. When I called and explained this to Brooke, she advised she could get someone out the following week but would let me know if any cancellations would allow them to get to me sooner. I received a call back within two days. John arrived and very quickly determined exactly what he needed to get the job done. Within a few hours the railings were installed and look great! John did fantastic work and Brooke from the office was also a pleasure to deal with. Stephen called to follow up and was just as pleasant as his staff. The staff at Handyman from Heaven made the entire process much faster and easier than I would have ever anticipated.

John arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable with regard to all of the tasks he had to do. He was a perfectionist, not moving on to the next task until the one he was doing was done to his satisfaction. The mirror on the brick wall was not an easy task. He picked up and cleaned up after all of the tasks were done. He took the heavy mirror and the trash with him to dispose of.

Even though I am NOT a customer, Stephen was genuinely concerned regarding my problem, even going so far as to research people who might help me--I needed an egress window, and he does not provide this servi ce--but--the level of care, concern and friendly professionalism via our phone calls convinced me that this is an individual that must display the same care and concern and professionalism in his work. If I ever need him for other work, I will definitely call!

Handy Man From Heaven consistently lives up to the name. This is the 3rd time I've had them work for me and each time there is some aspect of their work that deserves note. This time I was running late and wasn't home exactly when they arrived. (Who expects contractors to be right on time?) They left before I got home. When I realized this I was expecting to be told that they wouldn't be able to do the work that day which would throw my move schedule into disarray. However, when I called they were perfectly pleasant and told me that they had told the handyman to go to the hardware store and stock up on supplies and that he would be back at my house shortly. The job was well and efficiently finished within a two-hour time limit. My only regret is that I'm moving out of state and won't be able to use them in the future.

I'm very satisfied with the results and the follow up.

The work actually performed was satisfactory. One of the major reasons for hiring the company however, was to repair a dripping faucet in the master bedroom. The technician said he couldn?t/wouldn?t do that and suggested we hire a plumber. Repairing a dripping faucet certainly isn?t rocket science and in addition to hiring a plumber, the technician suggested we replace all fixtures in the bath - a major cost for what should be a straight forward repair. The company advertises that they can handle any project around the house and in my opinion should have been within the capabilities of on their best technicians. I was told the any parts required would not be marked but, but I would be charged on the actual cost to the parts. 2 wall switches, a hose bib, access plate, and shut-off valve can?t cost the $211.35 I was charged. Technician received the wrong address from his office and showed up late. I probably would not use them again since the company president never offered any relief for the situation after I sent him a detailed survey listing my concerns.

I was really impressed by Javier's speed and professionalism, and he didn't leave a mess; unlike some handymen we've hired in the past. I would definitely recommend Handyman from Heaven and plan to use them again in the future.

Between Steve the owner and Javier the actual workman; its was great! Steve is so nice and professional and flexible. And Javier was equally as professional and willing to do basically whatever I needed done. Which included: installing a new mailbox and post, several drywall patches and paint, installing a new light fixture, checking our front outside lights, etc. If we weren't moving out of state we would definitely use them again. But before we go, I'll recommend them for sure!

I had been looking for a handyman service for awhile and saw one of Handyman from Heaven's trucks on my way to work one day. I looked them up on Angie's List and they had very good reviews, so I contacted Steve Tropello for an estimate. He was very responsive and provided me all the details for their rates. Leon arrived on time for the job and went over the work to be done. Leon was very professional, taking his time to do the job right. I would definitely use Handyman from Heaven again.

I have used Handy Man from Heaven on multiple occasions in the past and I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs handy man services in their homes. I have always been very pleased with their work and every handy man they have sent out has been highly skilled and quality minded. On this occasion, Javier arrived at my home and was very polite, professional, skilled, and efficient. He performed all of the work I requested in a much shorter timeframe than I had anticipated and I was very appreciative of this since time is charged by the hour and I am on a limited budget. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely use the services of this company again.

Handyman from Heaven sent out two guys for the job, Javier and John. They arrived 5 minutes early and got to work right away on the aluminum siding, which required getting onto the roof and leaning over the side to fix (I am not a fan of heights, but it didn't seem to bother them in the least). In addition to fixing the main problem, they took the initiative to look at other parts of the roof and secured some other siding pieces as well. This part of the job took about 30 minutes. Next up was my second problem - a pipe had burst in an exterior wall leading to a hose spigot. Javier and John assessed the situation and gave me a couple of options. After making a decision, they went off to the hardware store to get some plumbing supplies and siding to match the house (siding had to be removed to get to the pipe). Note: they are on the clock when they make these trips, but that was made very clear to me up front by Stephen (the owner, I presume) as well as Javier and John. Stephen encouraged me to go to the hardware store and get what I thought I needed to save time and money, but I wasn't sure ahead of time what would be required. They were very efficient in their shopping, and John dropped Javier off after getting plumbing supplies so one person could be working while the other was getting the remaining supplies (siding). They ended up installing a freeze proof spigot and pipe (I didn't know such things existed), and did a phenomenal job matching the replacement siding. After ~3.5 hours, this job was completed, and I had a functioning outdoor spigot again (and installed properly, unlike the builders' job). Javier and John were great, and I'd definitely recommend them to others for 'handyman' sort of work. Stephen (the person with whom I made the appointment) was also very nice, responsive, and helpful. All around a great experience.

Great company and excellent work. I spoke directly with the owner who was very polite and professional. Everything was very clear and up front and there were no hidden costs. The team arrived on time and were very polite and cheerful. They got right to work on the projects for me and really did some quality work. I will definitely use Handyman from Heaven again in the future for any home projects that come up. I would highly recommend them to anyone else!

They did an excellent job. When they left, you'd never know I had any damage. Two gentlemen came to my home. They were on time, worked quickly and did a superior job. They even got along with my German Shepherd!! I'm planning to use this service for future handyman projects.

The three-man crew arrived within quoted time. I arranged for a three-man crew, as the two-shelf cabinet was of solid wood construction, and would need two men to hold it up, w/ the 3rd to actually attach to wall. Got shelf up and level, and put an extra cleat underneath to help hold the weight. My only criticism is that they drilled a number of holes in the plaster to try and find studs to attach the screws to, but the cleat hides them well. I thought the cabinet hadn't been hung level, at first, but after checking with my own level, I realized it's the fact that line where ceiling meets wall has sloped down toward the back over the years (my house was built in 1919). The shelving units required all three (originally quoted that only two would be needed to put together), which was good, because it looked like one unit was giving them fits to put together; seemed the side and back pieces didn't want to easily come together. If I have one major criticism, it's that the crew left quite a few of their tools behind, which looks very unprofessional. However, everything is holding up well, and I plan on using again for some other items around my house.

I figured if they are not going to call me back, then I may as well get somebody else. I would advise them to call back. Why waste the time sending somebody out if you are not going to do the work. They were here before Thanks Giving, and I kept putting it off because of the holidays, and there might be a possibility for somebody else. The guys was very polite on the phone, and the guy he sent to give the estimate was very nice. He was on time, but they never returned.

Overall, we are pleased with the experience. Leon and Javier are very thorough and provide a high quality product. Stephen, the owner, was very professional and easy to work with. The reason why the overall cost was so high was because of the materials. Stephen did provide me detailed receipts from Home Depot. They are an honest company, and we already plan on having them back for future projects.

Javier did a great job! I don't think there is anything he can't do! Everything I asked him to do was done perfectly. I went on to work and left Javier to do his work. I trust him completely and he has earned my trust. I want to say a word about Steven, the CEO of Handyman from Heaven. He is wonderful, always kind and helpful. I am so glad I have him to call.
