He was great. Really helpful. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Responded to my call on the same day. Answered my questions on a Sunday evening. His theory turned out to be incorrect, but it did help me get to the bottom of a really bad problem. Grateful for that. This company was well recommended in my neighborhood and is very professional.

Terry came out to fix an emergency roof repair. He was fast, responsive, friendly and the price was right. I called 10 people, no one was available, but Terry came to the rescue! Thanks for a great job.

Terry and his crew did a nice job finding problem areas and replacing bad wood. They worked with me to agree on a reasonable price. Finished job looks great. Made it through the snowstorm and heavy rain without leaks!

We purchased a townhome, which was built in 2000 but required renovations. One of the renovations, identified by our inspector, was fixing some leaks on the roof. We needed to keep our cost low while working with our general contractor. Terry and his assistant from the Essex Roofers showed up first, and right on time. He discovered a couple of problems by taking pictures for us. He gave us two quotes: one was replacing a part of the roof as well as fixing the problem areas and another quote was for replacing the entire roof. We selected the lower cost of partially fixing this time because we needed to allocate our budgets for other renovations. He fixed it and charged us $1700. When we do need a new roof, he will be our first call because we appreciated his honesty and flexibility working with our general contractor.

The Friday before when I opened my front door a drop of rain hit me from the top of the door frame. I called 3 companies and told them I needed an estimate to repair or replace the roof. My husband insisted that our 17 year old roof needed to be replaced. Essex Roofers showed up first right on time. I think it was the owner. He discovered a couple of holes in a shingle. He fixed it and charged us $100. He could have told us we needed a new roof. When we do need a new roof he will be my first call because I appreciate honesty and integrity.

He was very honest. Only reason I didn't use him was because he was on vacation. He said I got a good price from another roofer. I thought that was very commendable. I was very satisfied, I could not have been more pleased.

We did receive a call back and was told they were having problems finding a suitable skylight. We were told that they would research and call us back. This was in June 2013 and its now August 26, 2013 and they still haven't contacted us back with any estimates or information about installing the skylight. We wanted to have a local roofing company to do our roof job, but after not receiving any call backs, I guess we were wrong. Even if they couldn't do the skylight, we should have aleast received a call back. Very poor business ethics.

Went very well. Terry is very responsive and he and his company did an outstanding job.

They did an excellent job. They've replaced all old lumber and they even called me up on the roof a few times to explain what they were doing. They re-nailed all boards before putting the new roof on and any imperfections were corrected. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, no materials, scraps or anything was left behind. I would definitely us them again and recommend them.
