 + -1 moreWe've been nervous about sitting out on our front porch swing because it was clear that some of the porch wood was rotting. We had a horrible experience with another contractor in Baltimore (7 months to do a job that was estimated to take 4 weeks and then never finished). So we were hesitant to go with another contractor. Finally we decided to give in and asked for recommendations from neighbors. Dexter came highly recommended so I called him to swing by and give an estimate on a Monday. We got the quote on Monday evening and he was able to start the job that Thursday. He worked along-side with his crew and they whole thing was done on Friday in time for us to enjoy our porch swing by the weekend. He was very honest and even suggested we do a few "easy" steps ourselves to save money. We will definitely be going with Dexter again for any future indoor/outdoor home projects in Baltimore. Description of Work: Mr Dexter Sammy has done roofing and copper gutter repairs on my house in the past. I have a slate roof which requires high quality work. Faulty nailing technique would result in broken or loose slates. He used high quality Vermont slate. He likes to educate his customers on this kind of roofing. He wants people to understand the cost of repairs and will offer a number of suggestions and possible approaches. I am aware of his other skills . He has done repairs on the buiting where I work. He repaired water damage to walls and replaced a flat roof that had blown off. Mr Sammy is a proud native of St. Thomas in the American Virgin Islands. He has impecable manners. He is very easy to deal with. He wants to please every customer.
