It took a second Hunt plumber to help the first technician's problems and complete the project. The first technician spent almost 8 hours trying to fix a leaky 'tee' solder connection. He could not sweat the joint 'upwards'. The second technician that was sent out from the owner/manager of the company, after I called 4 hours later with my complaint, demonstrated well-practiced expertise and professionalism and helped with the first one's faulty solder joints as well as doing the prime project, adding a 2 gallon expansion tank to the hot water heater. I had no water in the house for 8 hours since the minor repair, water seepage around a tee connection solder joint (so minor as water was not yet reaching the floor), required the water main valve to be 'off'' during repair. The repair bill also was not itemized, but according to METCOM, my water utility company, Hunt's advertised charges are $175 for the expansion tank; so the minor tee solder joint repair wound up being $165.00. On the positive side, Customer service scheduled a timely appointment for me and the plumber showed up within the time of appointment window.

Warren, the owner was very respectful of all of my questions. He spent more than an hour with me and took multiple follow-up phone calls to answer all my questions. He didn't try to up sell anything and I felt like he was honest in trying to get me what we needed. I received quotes from 5 other companies and while a couple were close in price I wanted to go with Hunt because I didn't feel like I was being swindled with half-truths, exaggerations, or silly claims. My wife was home for the installation, and I stopped by for 20 minutes. They were respectful and professional.

Then he took the time to perform same basic checks and explain the problem. You can't ask for much more than this... Great Job! I will definitely call again if the need arises.

Our AC, which was over 25 years old had completely died and the Furnace, which was over 15 years old was on its last legs so we needed to replace the entire HVAC system in our home. We upgraded at the same time, moving from the under-sized for our home AC, at 2 ton, up to a 3 ton unit and rated at 16 SEER. The furnace we had was a 90% system but not vented correctly so it was causing brick faces in our chimney to pop out and caused us to hire a mason to repair the chimney, at additional expenses, so we replaced it with an 80% system because we could not vent it the way a 90% system is required by current code. We also moved up in quality the filter, from the standard 1" size to a 5" media filter and added in a UV light to kill off any bacteria and together is rated equal to the air quality required of a hospital. We are happy with our new system and would recommend this HVAC contractor.

I would recommend Hunt to anyone looking for a plumber. The technician called to inform that he would arrive to my home in 20 mins and was prompt and patient to wait for my husband to get to the house to approve the work to be done.
