Prompt response. Courteous and efficient service. When they realized I would be without air conditioning as the heat wave returned they fit my appointment in a day early. The technician was very thorough, did not rush and made sure my unit was working by the time he left.

They came out because my AC had stopped working. They actually had the replacement parts on the truck. They were so fast! I was able to get a same day appointment. I first talked to them at 830am and the AC was fixed by 1130am.

After Pro Tech came last Friday and charged $140 decided to get a 2nd opinion from Hunt. Not only wasn't my compressor bad, it was the capacitor that Pro Tech said was good. Hunt saved me about $500. They waived the $89 diagnostic fee. I was so happy, I used them to replace my water heater and two outdoor faucets the next day.

Great customer service

Air conditioner unit was leaking. Technician came out and said because it's an older unit (1998), he could not get to where it was leaking, so he couldn't repair the leak. He added Freon and said there is no guarantee that the unit will not leak again, so he didn't know how long the Freon will last. We normally have our unit service every season. We don't necessarily use the same company. The majority of them focus more on recommending we replace the unit, even when it wasn't as old. Just because a unit is old doesn't necessarily mean it can't be repaired. Not completely satisfied with his reason for not being able to repair the leak. I will check with another company.

There is a initial charge of $89.95 just come and inspect system.

On a routine call, the technician came by the house on the same day. We got a good assessment of our current system and some tips to make it perform better at the end of its service life. We'll certainly consider Hunt when we are ready for a system replacement.

I contacted the owner Warren Hunt during a crisis at my rental property in MD (as I live in NC), and was thoroughly impressed with the time he spent going over all the details with regard to the size, type, brand name, model, UEF rating for a new water heater. Mr. Hunt promised to install the water heater the next day as this was a matter of extreme emergency because the basement to my property had flooded and my tenant was in panic mode. Mr. Hunt and his crew promptly arrived the next morning as scheduled and installed the water heater within 1 hr. The price was very reasonable based on my research. Mr. Hunt impressed me as a very honest and reasonable man that I could rely on. He corresponded with me long after business hours. If there was something he was not sure of, he admitted to it and did not try to sugar-coat anything in order to gain my business and/or trust. I was very impressed by something he said in our conversation. I hope others take heed to my review because it is very rare nowadays to find honest contractors, especially when you are trying to do business across state lines and not available to inspect a contractors work, thus having to rely on the opinion or inspection of others to let you know if the work was done to your satisfaction.
