It was New Year's Eve at about 4:00 pm when I reached out to Holmes Garage Door Service. My car and I were trapped in the garage! I called Kyle who was very knowledgeable and empathetic. Based on what I told him and pictures that were sent, he was able to give me a quote and came to my house the following day (New Year's Day!) and repaired my garage door!!!! Great work! Excellent Service! Pleasant attitude! I sure hope I don't need him again soon, but I would recommend him highly to anybody!!

We had a very good experience. After another company no showed on our appointment to have our garage door opener installed I used homeadvisor.com and called Holmes. Our technician Kyle was great! He actually called and confirmed the morning of our appointment and showed up exactly when he said he would. He did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company.

Kyle responded promptly to my request, communicated to make sure he would be prepared to fix the problem, and showed up when he said he would. He spent extra time to get my ornery garage door to close all the way across, and showed me how to release and re-engage the opener mechanism, and how to change the light bulb in the unit. He was very friendly and helpful. I recommend him highly.

We were convinced that we needed to purchase a new garage door opener and have it installed. We consulted Home Advisor’s website and found the names of two garage door service companies. Kyle Holmes replied promptly with a phone call. After speaking with him, I made my decision to go with his company, Holmes Garage Door Service. He offered a next day appointment to do an on-site inspection. Kyle was prompt (calling prior to his arrival), professional and personable. After assessing our needs (one of the two springs was broken), a specific-sized set was ordered. Once the springs had arrived, Kyle called and arranged for a time to complete our repair. The good news? We didn’t need a new garage door opener! If you’re looking for a technician to repair your garage door we highly recommend the Holmes Garage Door Service of Mechanicsville.
