Description of Work: Support posts for our front porch were rotten at the ground. Originally, it was only one post but once they started working it was discovered that 2 more posts were rotten and had to be replaced. The porch was jacked up and new posts were set in concrete. We were charged extra for the 2 additional replacement posts. We had also contracted to replace the entire porch railing with vinyl railing. One issue we had with a bad cut in the vinyl was fixed immediately at their expense. They worked hard to get the job done and make sure we were happy.

Description of Work: ...can't recall the price. Had them paint the foundation. It wasn't cheap. They did an excellent job and I was in a hurry...wedding within a week held at the house and the landscapers rolled-in right after the Fixall folks. They're very busy and had to call the proprietor on his cell several times to keep the schedule on track. Leaving a voicemail on the business landline is ineffective...calls goo unanswered and no response to voicemails. Like I said they're very busy, ...probably because they provide a qualitry product. My only recommendation is for them to higher a full-time office manager who can answer the phone and corrdinate scheduling.

+ 1 moreI have to say that out of 8 contractors these guys were the best in responsiveness and price. They know what they are talking about and are very personable. They are doing my bathrooms in a week so I will add another reply with pics to show you how good they are. They are a small company but thats great..I rather pay a small company then a big corparate company that uses shotty tile Like Home depot and Loews.. don't get Tile there, they will send you to the right place for tile and you will be able to tell why.. Fixall will be doing my deck and patio next, but I have to save for that..lol Also they will let you go and buy you own items for them to install instead of other companies telling you that you can't, you have to use theirs. A+ guys and company

+ -1 moreFixall stopped by the house to see the job. We wanted similar style posts but in no-maintenance material. We received the quote in 2 days which was reasonable. Fixall came on time to install the posts but they brought the wrong size 4 1/2" W instead of 6" W. He then went to a different lumber shop to buy the correct size which cost me more money because apparently he doesn't know how to use a measure tape. He installed the new posts but when he took out the old posts he scraped the header borders. The jack he used to support the porch leaked oil on our concrete. He closed up the truck and left. We called to say the balance of the bill would be paid once he repainted the header and cleaned the concrete. He did come back and we did pay the bill but I will never use him again. His price in the end was the same as others we had received.
Description of Work: Replace 3 wood porch posts with no maintenance posts.

Description of Work: Repaired arms and legs that were falling apart on my kitchen chairs. Work quality was excellent. It took three calls for them to call me back the first time I called. I've already hired them for a second job and I've called twice now for just the estimate!

Description of Work: Job was to install two through the wall air conditioners. Initially I thought the estimate fair because they had to cut two holes in the wall, but after seeing that it only took them 4 hours to do the work, I thought $795 may have been a little pricey. Workmanship was good and both installations looked neat afterward. I accidentally chose a model which required 220 VAC to operate. No 220 outlet was available, but he offered to have his sister who is married to an electrician call to make one. I am still waiting for that call. In the meantime i have an unworkable box sticking out of my wall so I guess you could say we share responsibility for that blunder.

+ 1 moreIt was excellent and everything is looking pretty good now except that there is double sink in the kitchen one with the garbage disposal and one without. When I turn on the garbage disposal it spits up. I had called them back and they said they would have him come and check, but they haven't. They've been busy and I haven't called them back the second time. Overall it was really good and even the guy that came out for plumbing did a good job and cleaned out after himself other than just not coming back and do whatever he's got to do to make sure the sink not look at me. I had him come back and give me some estimates on some other things. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Fixall Home Repairs & Improvement Service a couple of weeks ago. I had managed to clog up the drain for the garbage disposal and it wasn't working right so he took it apart and put it back together and then he ended up having to cut and re-drain down in the cross base and then snake down through it. He put all that back together.

They were the last to come out, which slowed the process up, but they were professional. Even though they were slow in responding, they were the most professional company. They gave me a written estimate in the mail with instructions.

+ 10 moreCouldn't have gone better. Greg usually called the day before they came to work and adjusted their schedule to meet my days off. Besides doing extremely professional and quality work, he was more than willing to make modifications and adjustments on the fly. For example, when replacing the patio door a great deal of rot from water intrusion was found and Greg repaired the sill plate and under-structure without missing a beat. In today's world of substandard and shady contractors, Greg and his company are a breath of fresh air. I have already contracted with Fixall for further work and Greg will be the first one I call for any future work.
Description of Work: The work consisted of removing and replacing a sliding patio door, remodeling a bathroom, remodeling a bedroom including replacing a double window, installing 7 solid core interior doors w/hardware, installing two exterior under house access doors, installing a rigid dryer vent and power washing the vinyl siding of my house. Also included hauling away some old equipment from my yard.

+ 9 moreThe most recent work performed on our home was adding insulation to our attic. Fixall was contacted to give us a price and they came with a very fair estimate so we went with them. We set up a date to get the work completed and they showed up to perform the service.My wife and I had intended and agreed to remove all of the items in the attic (10'x10' area of boxes of going to use someday stuff) but life happened and removal did not. Greg said not a problem they would clear it and get the insulation job complete,
Description of Work: Fix all has done a number of projects for me,they have been prompt, fair in pricing and trustworthy, I felt that Greg and his crew communicated everything they needed to do to accomplish the tasks. This gave my wife and I a sense of what length of time this may take and a small understanding of what our money was going to be spent on. We have used Fixall for 5-6 home improvements over the past 3 years and have been satisfied each and every time.
