The work was done in a timely and professional manner. All debris was removed from the building site. The end result was a beautiful job. The cost was reasonable and required no additional add ons or surprised changes to the original contract price.

Deane and his team did an outstanding job! We met briefly at the start of the project to go over expectations and he went right to work. He had an excellent attention to detail throughout the entire project. He kept me informed on the progress and always let me know who would be working at our house each day. As far as contractors go, you won't find anyone more personable than Deane. Highly recommended!

Berith Builders were our contractors for a renovation on a 30 year old home on the Bay. One of The reasons we decided to choose Deane and his company (after interviewing 3 other contractors) is because Deane Wolfe was not only a contractor but someone we connected with during our initial visit to fulfil our vision. Because we were not going to be living in the home we needed someone we could trust to actually work and not be slacking off while we were not there. Deane has built such a great relationship with his clients in that before my wife and I had decided to go with Deane I told him that I had remodel a couple of other places and so I knew enough about construction to be dangerous. Deane had suggested we go over to one of his clients homes that lived in our neighborhood he had finished a couple months earlier to really see his work (and wow were we impressed). They had very glowing feedback on Berith Builders and the crew. So on to our home. The house was in TOTAL DISARRAY. The outside of the home needed both the back and front deck replaced after a very shotty install, the cedar lap siding was completely damaged because of the harsh weather over the years that accompanies living on the bay (it had mold behind it). The interior needed a complete remodel. The kitchen, the hardwood floors, the three bathrooms, the two bedrooms, brand new windows and doors, support beams because we were removing walls to create an open floor plan on the main level. Electric, plumbing, a new HVAC, paint etc. (I mean a complete remodel). Deane, Tony, & JT was SO PATIENT, honest, always answered and returned our phone calls and was just always so accommodating to our always changing designs (they went out and got all permits we needed). One of the best things about Deane was that he was also very creative and meticulous in his design choices which really helped my wife create her vision. We honestly did not even need a designer because Deane, JT and Tony (who created our floating shelves) were just that good. Deane knew exactly what to get and where to get it from. Construction is NEVER EASY because there is always a delay and at times it can get frustrating, it never goes completely the way you want it to. Deane was so calming, professional (invoices were always detailed and delivered on time), hilarious at the right times and just downright fun to work with. You know you have a great relationship and the job went well with a contractor when after the work is complete you actually feel like you are going to miss having them and the guys around.

Deane Wolfe is kind and personable. He arrived on time, surveyed and measured our basement, and offered a couple of suggestions. Although we chose to work with a different contractor, we appreciated the time Deane spent with us in looking over and measuring the space and in preparing his estimate.

I left voicemail messages and sent electronic messages for Dean, the owner, but no response...no email ...no text message. Would have been courteous and professional if Dean simply returned a call or email to say he was NOT interested in pursuing the work. Disappointing as the reviews on the company were very good 1 year ago.

Did not use this service/company because the type of extensive repair work I needed for my basement was out of their companies skill-set. I will grade them a "C" for responding back to me quickly and for their honesty.

Deane was very responsive to all my concerns through the entire process. He helped with dealing with everything from HOA to permit, and was very patient with us through the entire process. Once we got all approvals he had everything completed within a week! Very professional and friendly.

I never received an estimate. Instead I got an email stating they would not be able to do the work. I felt they wasted my time and theirs by coming out.

Contacted Mr Wolfe to have a deck buildt, he came over to discuss the project within a couple of days, we agreed on the terms and cost. He worked with me on the cost and the size because I had a budget to keep, I respected the fact that he didn't try to talk me into anything I couldn't afford. All the permits were obtained and once they were approved it didn't take long for the deck to be buildt. The deck is exactly what I wanted and it looks great. Mr. Wolfe is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable, his staff and workers were all very considerate and skilled, they did a quality job. I look forward to my next project, because I will definitey call Berith Builders.

Outstanding work. The demolition was well done and I admired all of it. The new construction was well done. And I have to say that the digging of the new deck footers (to code) was difficult. My soil there was full of rocks and hard clay, so their powered augers couldn't get down deep enough and they had to do a lot of that hard digging by hand. But they did it! The construction guys (a different crew) also did great work. I know enough about building stuff (the original 2 decks, a backyard fence, and a shed), that their skills were a pleasure to watch. I learned a lot just by watching them. They kept at their work, did it well, and the results were great. And I liked that they were friendly the whole time. I love the final product. Best deck ever!

From the start to the completion of my basement, Joel was in direct contact with us. He was true to his word and showed up when he said he would. He also had the appropriate permits filed with the county and the inspector came to review the work along the way. The painters, electricians, and carpenters were also professional and thorough with their work. Joel came out personally to inspect the work by the drywallers, painters, electricians, and carpenters! Berith Builders were incredible to work with! Our basement looks amazing!

They were terrific. I spent close to $14000. They were very personable, I didn't know what I wanted and they helped me decide. The owner came out and designed what I was trying to explain to him and they stayed on top of things right down to the permit. They were calling me and telling me where they were with the project.

Dean of Berith Builders and his team arrived when stated and work progressed according to plan: only cost over runs noted was due to changes made by us. Great contractor and employees. Approximate service duration was from June to November 2013.

Everything worked very well. The communication was consistent and accurate. They did all the paperwork and legwork for all the needed pertmits. The only problems were with the weather which slowed the process down but that was out of Berith's control. Plan on having them come back to another project later this year.

They provided a detailed proposal to us and gave us extensive options with itemized pricing. This gave us the opportunity to pick what we really wanted. They were very pleasant to work with and they did what they said they were going to do. They stayed late to make sure the cement work was done beautifully and everything was done on time. They were very responsive to our questions. They went above and beyond by resolving some unanticipated problems that came up like a sagging roof we didn't realize we had. The deck looks beautiful and our family is enjoying it very much. We would recommend them highly.

Berith Builders is definitely the company to contract with when you need a home improvement project completed. They keep their word and that speaks volumes to me. Deane, Tony, J.T., and Jimbo were all very professional in their communication with me and kept their time commitments as to when work would begin and the completion of the job. They were always on time and once when they could not make it due to the weather, they contacted me immediately. They are very trustworthy and did exceptional work that far exceeded my expectations. Dean Wolf came out, we described what we wanted. He took measurements and said it could be done. Demolition started and clean-up done. Construction started the next day and moved along well. Electrical, plumbing, tile masonry, carpentry and painting work all completed within schedule. All work cleaned up and no debris left anywhere. This is the third job done by Berith Builders and I would recommend them to anyone.

The entire process went very well. The project manager listened to my concerns and provided insights to help me make a more informed decision especially with the deck installation. All the contractors involved were friendly and respected my property. From start to finish it took about a week to complete the project.

It was fine. They did a good job. They came when they're supposed to. They did the work and then cleaned up. They were accessible via phone. The foreman always gave me a callback when I left messages for him so he was fairly responsive.

They did an excellent job. They were punctual, courteous and honored all commitments made. I will use them again and recommend them to others without reservation.

The actual project took about 3 days starting with the demolition of the existing deck by a 2 man crew. The existing deck was easily dismantled especially when disassembled with a saw. The removal of the bush was probably more troublesome. The following morning, the crew arrived bright and early to start the foundation work. Based on what I saw of the existing deck, the structure of the new deck was new and improved. The workers lined the concrete slab foundation with vinyl flashing, which was missing before, poured concrete to set the support posts and spaced the beams about 15-18 inches apart. The next day was spent nailing in the planks and building the planter box. The following morning was clean-up and the construction of a step. The attention to detail and work ethic of the 2 young men was impressive and I could tell that this was not their first job. The lead worker was knowledgeable about the process and answered all my questions with ease. I love the new deck and especially the planter box that allows me to expand my summer garden which I am grateful for. I would definitely recommend Berith Construction and would use them again.

The process was very smooth, with their crew showing up on time each day and called prior to arrival for day that it was too wet to work. The crew worked efficiently and kept me informed of progress. The lead on the crew answered questions as I viewed their progress. This project took approximately a week and the owner of the company came out to inspect and ask if we were satisfied at which point in time I walked the deck and we discussed any concerns. They did an excellent job and the deck that they installed can withstand an army of people standing on it. The only improvement would have been if the sales person who initially came out for the estimate had given us other options such as installing a system that would take the water away from coming through the flooring of the deck. I found out this was available after they had already installed the decking when I asked questions. The overall work was exceptional and I would use them again.
