Made an appointment with him to come give me an estimate. I took off work early to be there, appointment time came and gone, I called to see if we were still on, no answer and then I left a message. No return call and a no show. Not a good way to represent a business or to treat potential clients. I will be sharing my experience with everyone.

They were excellent across the board.

They built the garage, deck and retaining wall. Shortly after the work was done, things started to go wrong. The vinyl railings on the deck started to warp, the aluminum around the garage doors has holes eaten through it from the chemicals in the pressure-treated lumber they used, and they installed corrugated pipe downspouts instead of solid pipe, which made the ground wet. The retaining wall has moved away from the garage, there are three different cracks all the way through the 12-inch thick retaining wall, and there is a jagged 2-inch gap between two pieces of concrete. The driveway at the retaining wall sunk 1 1/2 to 2 inches, the concrete work on the garage walls was done so poorly that they had to patch it in places; the patches were done poorly, and there were so many of them, that they had to prime and paint the walls to cover them up. They left out a truss in the roof, which the county required them to add in. The concrete apron in the garage broke off and was not sealed, so water leaked into the lower level of the garage when it rained. I had to fix that issue myself. They did not slope the concrete enough, so water seeps in through the bottom of the garage doors when it rains. Overall, the materials they used were of poor quality, some of which was warped from the start. Since this was still within the first year, everything was covered under warranty. We tried to contact Mr. Butler multiple times on multiple devices, but he never responded. Only after we filed complaints against him with local and national sources did we get a response from him and his lawyer. They started to look into what was wrong and said they would fix the problems; though, the solutions they suggested did not fully meet my expectations. They told me I had to agree to release them from all liabilities before they'll do the work and I couldn't tell anyone about the problems I had with him and his work. Since I did not agree to release them from liability, they have not come back to repair the work. It has now been over 2 years since the work was completed.
