"My husband and I hired Joe Gibbs and his hard-working crew almost 3 years ago, and it has continued to be such a wise and lucky decision for us ever since! Joe's depth of knowledge about plants, shrubs, and trees is amazing, and his gardening designs give us full color and seasonal enjoyment all year long. He saved us money right from the beginning by transplanting our failing large and small shrubs and plants into areas where they are now flourishing in other spaces in our yard. He also saved our five Crepe Myrtle trees when other landscapers we had interviewed said they were unsavable. Joe is very honest and likable and has a mellow and good-natured personality. "We hired Nelson to do cleaning after the winter, mulching a very big area which involved getting rid of lots of weeds and leaves, replacing the weeds stopper fabric from under a vast area with marble chips, cutting the grass, making flower beds, landscaping edges, etc. From the first interaction with him, Nelson was very professional. While walking together all sides of the yard, he listened very attentively to what we were hiring him for. We were and we are very happy with his work. He showed up as promised and over delivered the entire work. Yes, over delivered. Not common nowadays. He and his crew are very hard workers and their work is very detailed. "Would NEVER use these people again. Cost was outrageous. Owner is very knowledgeable but the crew he sent didn't have a clue about how to trim a tree. They completely destroyed several mature japanese maples, to the point where I just want to cut them down to the ground. They cut away too many of the low branches, which is called "lion-tailing" (Google it). It will take 10+ years of careful and attentive grooming for these trees to develop any more low level growth. I can't say enough, just DO NOT use these people to do anything more than mow grass and remove weeds."

The average cost of a gravel driveway is about $1.25 to $2 per square foot, including the cost of materials, equipment, and professional installation. For example, a 16-by-30-foot driveway costs about $1,500. Cost factors include the type of gravel, how thick the gravel is installed, the condition of the landscape, and labor costs. Overall costs will vary depending on where you live and how accessible the job site is.
A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Deeper gravel will mean you spend more on materials and labor, but you’ll get a more stable driveway and avoid damage that needs to be filled or graded flat again.
Because gravel moves, it requires different maintenance than asphalt or concrete. Here are a few maintenance tips for your gravel driveway. Every few years (or as often as needed):
Grade and level your driveway
