We needed new landscaping because we had installed a geothermal heat pump, which completely destroyed the front yard. We decided on a major re-landscaping instead of just restoring the yard to its former state. Carroll Landscaping provided the initial design, which we modified to extend the paver pathway. We selected pavers, paid a deposit, and they scheduled the work to start within a couple of weeks. They also installed a new front post light (which we purchased on our own). They laid down sod for the lawn. Some bushes were planted too close to the house; we called them up, and they moved them later that week. Animals were eating some of the new plants down to the ground, so they replaced them with different plants. The results look beautiful.

Plant material was good quality and work performed was good. The overall management of the project and responsiveness to problems were very poor.

They came on-time for the appointment and performed the work all in one day, three weeks later. Very professional. They did a great job and listened to what I wanted (low maintenance).

Great experience. One of the only companies that provided pretty and diverse landscaping options within our budget. It should be noted that since they planted, we had to move some plants, as they were planted too close together for the size they grew to be. Minor problem, though.

Work was to re-do and repair poor quality work performed by others. They did an excellent job and cared about the quality of the work. They did the work right and knew what they were doing. They came when scheduled and finished close to schedule. Any thing that needed to be corrected, was corrected quickly.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly what needed to be done with the grading as we were especially concerned about the drainage issue. A design was done which we approved. We had to wait a couple of months before they could start work, but that was because we contracted at the busiest part of the landscaping season. The work crew was great. The work they were doing naturally made a lot of dirt and mess, but they cleaned up every day and always left us a way to get in the house without too much dirt/mud. The foreman was also very knowledgeable and very good about answering any questions we had as work progressed. We ended up making a couple of minor changes to the initial design because once the old deck was removed we and they could see better what we were dealing with. They were very accomodating about that. Upon completion, all the mess was clean up, our lawn restored where they messed it up. It ended up costing just a bit more than originally estimated, but that was because of the changes. Overall it was a terrific job. We love the rear patio especially. Even though not 100% done over the Labor Day weekend, we still have family over for a cookout and got many compliments. We had previously used Carroll Landscaping for work at our old house about 10 years ago. We were happy then, so that's why we called them for this project. And we are even happier now. This work will greatly increase our home's value.

Horrible! The salesman was very nice. Thats about it. The job was 4 weeks overschedule, they had inexperienced crews. The one worker who knew what he was doing and was consciensous was not given the proper tools or workers to do the job. I dont think he knew enough about drainage and grading. He quit the company halfway through the job. We had an architect draw up the plans, they did not follow the drawings. We had to tell them how to properly install the retaining walls (using concrete). They installed steps that are a safety hazard. We had them re-do the steps and fire pit and they still are not correct. They messed up the drain pipes and the final grade. They do not have the experience to do large jobs. We ended up settling with them to get them off of the property. We have now hired another company to fix their mistakes.

The job went well. They are very knowledgeable about plants and placement.

Nonetheless, the outcome was good although we lost a few perrenials that we had wanted to save. The new retaining wall was installed in two days and looks great. About 10% of the lawn area had to be re-seeded by me but the rest of their seed grew in very nicely.

Very pleased with the service that Carroll Landscaping provided. After a short delay, they showed up and did an excellent job of doing what I wanted. I felt the price was a little bit high, but I guess everything is going up. Bill Langmead, the Supervisor, was extremely professional an well versed in his business.
