Description of Work: After interviewing (4) Kitchen Cabinet Refinish/Refacing Co. we selected Cabinet Restorations. The owner Pete met with us and gave us a quote to reface (20) birch cabinets. We selected this co. because Pete gave us confidence that our project would go well because he understands wood and refinishing. He uses a high quality cabinet co and everything he promised us held true. His installer Rob was excellent because he is a good craftsman who is detailed oriented and has pride in his work. The project was a competitive price, done on time, with quality workmanship. Great company to deal with!

Description of Work: Mr. Pete Simonello arrived promptly for the appointment and discussed the options available. I decided that the cabinets were not worth reprinting so we asked for an estimate for refacing the cabinets. It arrived promptly for approximately $11, 500, ($13,000) counting the deposite. Received estimate from another company for all new cherry cabinets for approximate $11,000. Called Pete to pass this on.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for 1,499 for cabinet refinishing. I have a small townhouse kitchen and it seemed that the project would fall into the range of the deal. I also used the estimation guidelines that they provided in the deal. But, the estimate came in for more than the guidelines they stated in the deal. I was told that they recently raised their prices. Given the fact that this was not a major kitchen update, but a minor refresh, the price quoted was outside of the budget. I have requested a refund as a result.

 + 1 morePete was a very good communicator. He wrote everything down and was very timely. He did what he said he would do. They put everything back where it was when they arrived and were very thorough and professional. Pete was also very patient and happy to answer all of my questions. He gave me a choice to work over the existing finish or to strip the old finish and redo it. This company really went above and beyond my expectations.
Description of Work: They totally refinished my kitchen cabinets and island including stripping the original finish and refinishing them with 7 coats.
