The tree closest the house went down without incidence. Unfortunately, I can't say that about the second tree. As the second tree came down, it lost a major branch, which hit the next tree, then the next tree hit its next tree. The third tree in line lost a branch and took out a power line that made our whole street lose power for over three hours. There was no way that C2 could have anticipated this scenario.

The crew did an excellent job. Not only were they the lowest bid, but the work was completed in one day. (I was quoted by 2 other companies that the job would take 2 days).

I was very reluctant to remove the tree, as I had a picture of a stagecoach in front of our house and the tall tree could be seen in the background behind our three-story house. But as I watched one side of the tree die and it leaned over the house, I knew it had to be done. I got several estimates and had some difficulty finding a company that had the equipment to complete the job. One of the C2 owners, Chris (both owners named Chris hence C2) gave me the estimate and provided the Angie s List discount. He explained that I could complete the job whenever I wanted, but the tree would definitely fall but there was a chance it may only destroy the corner of my house. C2 seemed to have the equipment and was not overly concerned with the size and location of the tree so I decided to use them. C2 arrived with 3 very large trucks, one with a crane and began removing the tree from top down. Chris worked near the top, tying limbs the size of trees and cutting beneath them before lowering them to the ground. Some were allowed to tumble to the ground on the side away from the house. The first day they spent working down to the trunk of the tree. When they reached that point, and I saw Chris look into the hollow trunk and say, three of us could fit in here. There was only 4 thickness in the trunk holding the tree up, I knew we had made the right decision. The four-team members worked well together, laughing and providing feedback to one another. While cutting the trunk down, several chain saw blades were broken when they hit a horseshoe that was hidden from sight as it had grown in the tree approximately 70 years ago. They made no mention of the problem until the end of the day when leaving to return the next day with more equipment and chain saw blades. All crew members worked very hard, answered my questions and tolerated all the pictures we took from the 2nd story window. They were professional and looked out for one another. They had a good attitude, sense of humor and continued to work diligently, but cautiously when they were noticeable tired. When requested they positioned a shoot to blow the chipped wood into my garden for mulch. When the job was done, they raked up the wood chips and filled the holes in the yard. I kept 3 large stumps for outside tables, which they placed in locations that I chose with their crane. They are to come back and trim one limb that could not be reached. I was pleased with their work, would recommend and hire them again.

We contacted C2 Crane and Tree Service for an estimate on remove a large tree from our front yard. The tree was overgrown and it's roots were damaging the driveway and the garden bed, not to mention it was constantly dropping leaves and twigs all over the front. C2 had someone come out that week to meet with us. They took photos of the tree, gave us our options, and even gave us some tips on what we could do if we didn't go with them. Overall, very knowledgeable and professional from the start. After getting a few more estimates, C2 had the lowest price and we felt more comfortable with the knowledge they had. I did not give them a perfect score on responsiveness because it took several calls back out to them to get the service scheduled, and I had to call them to make sure they were still coming since they didn't call me to verify the time. No big deal though. They came out, were quick, professional, and clean. They answered all my questions and were very nice individuals. I wish they took more of the chips, but they said it would settle in. Overall, a great experience.

These guys were very very hard workers. The day they were working switched between intense sun and heavy rain a number of times, but they worked constantly. The cleanup from all this work was outstanding. To me, this is a top-notch company.

Called to have a very tall tree limbed up and they were very prompt in responding with an estimate. They also agreed to remove some very old overgrown shrubs and grind the stumps. They removed all the debris and the total bill was $600 which was reasonable. They finished the job three weeks after the original estimate although they did have to reschedule the original date once due to an illness. I was happy with the workers. They were extremely nice, efficient and tidy.

Bob and the boys did a great job. I had a medium sized tree to take down, and a tree stump about 3 feet in diameter to grind. One of the branches fell on my fence and they were out the next day to repair it. You have to expect these types of things will happen from time to time. They cleaned up and were very courteous. I had the logs left on the property, although they took and chipped the smaller stuff. They also cleaned off the road in front of the house where they did the chipping. I would definitely use them again. I am a contractor and I have referred them to several people including my father.
