C2 Crane & Tree Service

Had a wonderful experience. Their office staff is very nice along with the crew. Their quote was less than one third of the first estimate that I got from another company and less than half of another company's quote. I was a little nervous about how it work out, since their estimate was so reasonable, but since I saw good reviews on Angie's list I decided to go ahead. I am so glad I did. All of the work was done in a timely manner and without any problems. They were easy to get along with and didn't mind my questions along the way. All debris was removed and they blew the sidewalk clean. I would recommend them and will certainly use C2 again in the future.

Sloppy work and did not see the entire job though. We hired C2 Crane for a large domestic job to remove trees in our yard (~$10,000). There estimates were reasonable and the staff was very nice. They were professional and completed the job but unfortunately there work was sloppy. During the removal they hit a power line for which the power company had to restore power to the neighborhood. Then, unfortunately, when cutting down one of the trees it hit a neighbors roof causing damage to the roof and fence. They made some minor repairs but never completed the job and left a large pile of trash sitting in the neighbors yard and despite requests, have not been by to clean it up. I called multipe times and was told that the neighbors were not happy with the response from C2 and are suing the company and this is why they did not complete the repairs however, I'm not sure what this would have to do with cleaning up the trash after completing a job. Even today, 4 months after the job was completed, the pile of trash stills sits there in the middle of our neighborhood. Additionally, after the job was completed, they left behind several larger trunks of trees they cut down and despite my requests and phone calls, they have not finished cleaning up after the job even after stating they would on 2 separate occasions. It's unfortunate that a seemingly nice group hired to do a job that cost a significant amount of money could not see the job through in a professional manner. As consumers, I don't think we should have to exert additional effort to force a company to fix what they broke or clean up a mess after spending 10 thousand dollars.

They came as requested, and did the job as requested. They left the yard in good shape, and even came back to grind the stumps when they ran out of daylight on the first day. Everything went smoothly, the yard was left in good shape afterwards.

They charged half of the price that other tree companies had estimated for the same job! They allowed me to use a coupon that I had for their service. It worked out really great! They were rated very well on Angie's List for price and work. They did such a good job and were more than reasonable. They came on time and did the work and everything was clean. I was very pleased!

I requested a quote through your site but never received a response from C 2 Crane and Tree Service.

It was wet as they indicated, but they were honest about it.

They gave a fair estimate that we compared with others, they were professional when they came out, and they pretty much covered everything that I was looking for and more. They took down an enormous tree section by section right next to the house. They had to postpone a few times because of the weather, but they got us on the schedule as quickly as they could.

Based on the great Angie's reviews, I called this company a few months ago about a tree removal/planting job I was considering for the spring season. I received no phone call back. I now need to get moving on this job since spring is around the corner, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called again. I had a brief conversation with a fellow there, who seemed nice and helpful. I made an appointment for someone to come out and review the project. No one showed up for my scheduled appointment - no phone call, no nothing. One un-returned phone call + one no show appointment = no business from me. Boo!

They were wonderful. The price was fair, they were knowledgeable, and everything went well. We looked at many companies but we felt like everyone else was trying to take advantage of us. C2 were real professionals.

Went great, everything was done according to the estimate, they went above and beyond to make sure I was informed throughout the entire process. Lot looks great and they were wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone interested in good tree removal. Whole crew spoke English and worked very hard.

Chris, the owner, came promptly after we spoke on the telephone. He seemed very knowledgeable as we discussed various options. He gave me a complete, detailed written quote before leaving. Once we gave the go-ahead, the job was scheduled at our convenience. Workers arrived on the first day as scheduled and went over everything with me before starting. Throughout the 3 day effort, Chris and all of his crew of 4 to 5 guys were always very professional. They were all very easy to work with and very polite and courteous. They would check with me to make sure that they were doing exactly what I wanted. This was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely consider using C2 again.

Awesome! They were quick to come and give an estimate, and the price was was even better! The crew was very knowledgeable and did some extras to the tree at no cost. I definitely will use again in the future.

The one Tulip Poplar was about 2 feet from our house, very close to our neighbor's fence and under power wires so it was not easy. The other Tulip Poplar was behind our house and the logistics prevented them from using their crane. In both cases, they did a great job. This process was very disruptive to our neighborhood (we live on a dead end road) and they were very responsive to our neighbors.

Chris Rankin arrived promptly as promised to make an estimate to remove a hickory (18'' x 80') downed by Mother's Day weekend wind and rainstorm. He provided consultation and an estimate on removing other trees (the oak and two maples) which posed a potential hazard of falling on the property and power lines (the oak) or against the house (the maples) and a dead limb that might fall on the garage. He accommodated a change in the work order to leave the downed tree in response to my call a few days later. Chris's partner, another Chris, arrived on the scheduled day with three workers, crane, bobcat, chipper and debris truck. They set straight to work and continued steadily and without break for 4-1/2 hours until the job was done. The work was made more difficult because the trees were located in an area of my property of soggy wetlands. Chris was very skilled in the use of the bobcat to drag and/or grab trunk lengths with minimum invasion of the property. The workers removed all debris and took care to sweep and use a leaf blower on all debris in the street and to use the crane bucket to cut limbs 50' up on other trees that had been broken by the felled trees.

I had 2 trees growing directly under a fence and the branches were beginning to touch the exterior and windows of my Townhouse. They were able to remove both trees as well as a small 5 foot sapling growing against the house. There are heat pump units on either side of the fence so it was somewhat of a tight fit, but they were able to remove the trees without a problem.

We needed to remove and trim some trees that were threatening to damage property ( mostly our neighbor's). Chris came out the day after I called to perform the estimate and began work about a week later. Because of the threat of our trees doing damage he actually pushed our job up and completed the work in 5 days. The entire team was professional and great to work with. They had a ton of debris to haul away and their clean-up was excellent. They were one of four estimates that I got and I am so glad I went with this company. I already am thinking about our next project with them because my property looks so much better. My neighbors were so impressed with their work that they did three other jobs on the street already,.

They were able to quickly provide a quote, which was in line with my expectations. The only reason for the "B" in responsiveness (rather than an "A") was because it did take them some time to get to the work, but I don't hold that against them, as it was not an emergency project and there were a number of rainy/stormy days between when I first agreed to the work and when they got to it. The day-of could not have gone better. They used a crane/bucket truck to remove the tree section by section and cut the other trees to the height requested. There was no damage at all to the pool equipment that was not more than 3-feet from the bottom of the tree and the amount of mess was minimal. They left the firewood (as requested) neatly stacked.

Excellent. Once we made the decision to have the tree removed, we called and they scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, they arrived when they said they would. From the time they showed up until the time they drove off was no more than 1.5 hours. This included cutting the tree down, grinding the stump, planting new seed, and cleaning up the leaves/wood chips. Their crew was efficient and professional, there were no problems and no surprises.

They arrived at the specified time and wasted no time getting the work completed. Very professional and hard workers. They also made sure that the work was to my liking before leaving.

I was at work while they worked. When I got home, the trees were down and they were cleaning the yard up.

I was very pleased. I called them on a Saturday afternoon and was able to speak directly with a representative of the company who was very pleasant and who promptly arranged for an estimate for the following morning (Sunday). The company's agent arrived right on time. I'd gotten other estimates, but theirs was the best price so I accepted the bid. A crew came out promptly the next afternoon (Monday) and completed the work -- no muss, no fuss. Any sawdust and wood chips were removed from the lawn and it was as if the trees had never been there. The service was courteous, prompt and professional.
