It went very well. Andy is great and Bob is also great. It was on budget and they kept close to the timeline. They are very detailed oriented.

ALC Contractors did an excellent job. They were punctual, clean, pleasant to interact with, and based on the first 6 months living in the new space, the craftsmanship has been excellent and durable. The home is a historical one and the crew was able to very closely match off of the woodwork and trim installed to the original home in 1902. If it were not for the new wood floor, and the fresh look, you would not easily be able to tell that the addition was recent. The estimate for the job was very good. We went over by ~ 10% as we had anticipated. This was due in part to tile & fixture selections for the kitchen and bathrooms, and for crown molding that I had not asked be included in the original estimate. There were also a few unanticipated costs that one is likely to identify on a project of this scale and when dealing with a historical home. Andy Lohmeyer was able to trouble shoot these issues well and the solution always seemed very fair. I appreciated that he was not defensive when we were talking through them, which made the whole interaction much more pleasant. He knows his business, and the skill sets needed to do quality work, well. I would like to make a special note about the team. They were friendly, sensitive to our need to exist in the home while they did the work, and always very professional. To move out of the home for 8 - 9 months would have been a significant hardship for us, as would living in the home for 8 - 9 months w/o a kitchen. The first thing ALC did was move our old kitchen appliances (range, sink, & dishwasher) into the existing butler's pantry. So, for all but 1 - 2 weeks of the project, we had a fully functional kitchen. What an amazing convenience!! We fully trusted them to be in the house and protective of the site when we were not home. They clearly took pride in the work and we would hire them again.

Got a good solid estimate from them. They gave me some good ideas to consider also. Very professional.

The scope of our project was huge and it was very complex. From the planning and estimating stages all the way to completion ALC never disappointed. The work was done exactly as promised to impeccable standards. Every deadline was met and every expectation was exceeded. The crew was professional, thoughtful and courteous at all times. Whether building from scratch, renovating or remodeling I would very highly recommend ALC.

I would never use another contractor! Honest, dependable, trustworthy, and fair.

Andrew and his folks at ALC Contractors, LLC did a great job with remodeling our out-dated kitchen. Bob and Brady, the two primary workers on-site, were always on-time, nice, and friendly. They were even mindful and worked around our baby gates needed for our 15 mos old. Andrew, the boss, kept us as informed as possible while we went through the various sub-contractors, inspections, deliveries, and installation phases. They prep'd the area with zip walls and vacuumed (cleaned) after themselves daily. Also, their sub-contractors were just as great that I hired the plumber for separate work...

Their quality workmanship and client dedication is exceptional and their entire team was professional and a real joy to work with.

I would never consider another contractor. I have had ALC Contractors back several times since for a deck and patio. Again with nothing but the best results and service.

I cannot say enough good things about Andrew, his crew and his subcontractors (plumber, electrician, and painter). They were all courteous, prompt and professional. From the first meeting with Andrew we felt comfortable that he was going to treat our home as his own and were confident that we would be 100% pleased. He kept in continuous contact with us and responded to all our concerns and questions. I would recommend him with absolutely no reservation. .

Andrew (ALC Contractors) came in to repair damage to our basement from the hurricane, They did drywall, wainscoating and paint. We also hired them to finish a job that another contractor deserted. He finished our screened porch, re hung siding, patched foundation and restructured the porch to be safer and much more attractive. We were thrilled with the results. He and Brady were on time worked all day and left our home as neat as a pin. The quality of their work is top notch and anyone who uses them will not be disappointed. I would refer them confidently to anyone.
