Service date- June 16, 2022 It is my pleasure to recommend Winn Electric company. I was very happy with the timely confidant knowledgeable workmanship, cleanliness, efficiency and helpfulness of master electrician ERIC and his assistant electrician Dennis. I had three ceiling fixtures, three wall switches, two wall outlets and three GFCI outlets checked for problems that had been accumulating over time since the Covid-19 pandemic began. At each problem spot the wiring was checked for safety before repairs were done.. Eric used a special LED bulb to override an old style florescent ceiling light fixture making it work and ballast free. The bathroom ceiling fixture was loose, Dennis tightened it up firmly, checked the switch (was fine) & the old GFCI outlet that had been acting up was replaced. Eric checked two outdoor GFCI’s, determined they were safe and did not need replacing at this time. The bedroom ceiling fixture slowly stopped working but Dennis & Eric discovered it was actually the wall switch that needed replaced. Two wall outlets in my laundry room were checked. One had sparked when I plugged in a lamp -it was the old lamp. Eric replaced the that lamp socket and rewired two bedroom lamps for me, too. While they were here, Eric gave me a couple of estimates for more work I hope to have done in the future. Eric & Dennis accomplished everything in about one hour. Job well done. $325.50

Being new to the area and not knowing many companies I called upon Winn Electric based on their amazing reviews. An appointment was setup for what I thought was an estimate to review what we had going on with our pool lights, deck lights and extending cable lines throughout our home. Upon arrival the two men came in and proceeded to inspect and look at the items that I wanted a quote. Hind sight, I should have been weary when 2 men showed up...for an estimate. They did spend more time looking at the deck lighting than what I thought was necessary for an estimate. Basically like they were trying to fix it, right now. I wanted an estimate. Concerning our pool lights, they did not know what to do, grabbed the converter/transformer information and said they would have to look it up and get back to me. A couple of weeks go by and I don't hear anything and all of a sudden I get a bill for $195! Nothing was fixed and I have no resolution to the issues that I called them to address. I called their office and explained that I did not authorize repairs, just an estimate. They repeatedly sent invoices for which I ignored because I already spoke my peace. Here I am 1.5 years later with a collection notice from their attorney for $195!, for what!? An estimate? Which I never received, and electrical corrections, for which was never performed!? Highly unprofessional. Also, the letter from their attorney states that their was a "contract", I signed nothing....this should be interesting.

Excellent experience start to finish! The owner responded to my initial request within 24 hours to get details of what I wanted done. I contacted the scheduler the following day and we quickly decided on a mutually agreeable date and 4-hour time window. The 2-person crew (master electrician + helper) arrived within the window and went straight to work. They were professional, respectful of my house, and friendly. One receptacle had non-standard wiring which the master electrician corrected. The entire job only took about 2 hours. (I had everything ready so they had minimal "wasted time.") The results were beautiful (I was changing receptacles and switches due to color changes in the rooms) and the price was VERY fair. Highly recommended!

Erik and Ty showed up right on time and checked all the kitchen outlets. They replaced the problem circuit breaker ( and also one for the dryer which had started tripping, too.) Erik discussed all the kitchen outlets and the amperage of various appliances, which was very informative.

Winn was great! Good price and fast, professional service. We had a transfer switch added to our main panel so that we could easily use our portable generator in time of power outage. Workmanship was great and they even took the time to thouroughly explain the operation of the switch and how we should operate our generator when we need it. Great work!

Great job of tracking down the old doorbell wiring system

This is the 2nd time we've used Winn Electric. This job was very small compared with the first. Both times, they were a pleasure to deal with. The repairman was prompt, professional and extremely efficient. We would definitely hire them again.

Electrician did not show up at agreed time which was 9 a.m. Waited for about 45 minutes. Didnt even bother to call he was running late. Called the office and cancelled the appoinment. Very unprofessional.

The electrician diagnosed the problem in an instant, replaced the defective outlet, cleaned up and was done in 20 minutes. Quick and easy. Very courteous, explained the issue in detail, assured me that the house was safe and was good to go.

They did an excellent job and were very professional, especially given the amount of time spent in my very cramped attic space. They were also very efficient. I've been happy with the work they did and will use them again.

They showed up right on time the day after I called, installed a nice-looking outdoor weather-proof electrical outlet in less than 45 minutes with a very reasonable price (at the lower end of Angie's list estimates). Overall outstanding service. Looks like Matt is a highly skilled electrician and knows exactly what he is doing. We would definitely hire them again without hesitation if needed.

I'm impressed by their honesty. The gentleman explained it was not something this company had ecer done. If I wanted to proceed with them, he'd try to bring along someone from the hvac industry for some guidance. But he was completely honest. I found someobe else familiar with my problem to do the work. But I appreciated Winn's honesty and would absolutely call them for other electrical work as I can see they are trustworthy.

They are the best electrical that I had come across. You can trust them completely. They did an excellent job for me.

Same day service. A very experienced electrician checked over and replaced a receptacle that might have caused the tripped circuit. He also checked over several other receptacles in the same room just to be careful. I would use their service again.

The electricians were professional, arrived earlier than scheduled appt, but called first to be sure it would be convenient. Luckily the work was minimal. But they were thorough, helpful, and even provided some educational info. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

The owner took my call late in the evening and provided advice based on pictures I sent regarding the problem and then sent his partner and another electrician out the next morning. They were very professional and diligent in fixing the problem. Great service.
