The job went very smoothly. I was very happy with the product and service. I bought the Milgard product which are warranted by Milgard and look terrific. Steve Baker took the time to explain the merits of several window offerings and I am very pleased with my choice. Frankly, they could not have done a better job or been more professional. I highly recommend them!

Steve told me it would be 8 weeks to get the doors and window ordered and installed. After repeated calls and no response, I was finally told 5 months later that they were ready to be installed. On the day they were supposed to install, I waited an hour for the crew and then called to get a status on when I could expect them. I was told that the crew was on their way to fix another job an hour from my house, but would be there after that. When I asked what time they thought they may show up I was told 6pm and they only thought to reschedule after I reminded them that it would be dark at that point and they wouldn't have time to do the 2 doors and window. The next day they showed up on time, but I was shocked to come home and find the worst caulking job I've ever seen. The blobs of caulk were visible from at least 50 yards from my house. There was also major damage to the corner of the window frame and the window screen was bent and had holes. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with Steve he sounded as if he was doing me a favor to have another team come to fix the mess. They did "fix" it, but the job was still left unfinished with visible nails and I have yet to see a replacement screen. Bottom line: This company is ill-managed, rude, unresponsive and unprofessional. Despite claiming that they do not use subcontractors, the contractor who called me couldn't even tell my what company he worked for, only saying "I'm from the window company." Do NOT use this company unless you want to really get what you pay for - cheap product and poor results.
Description of Work: I had 2 sliding doors and 1 window replaced.

I HAVE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH WINDOWS AMERICA. ALL THAT I ASKED WAS THAT THEY BE HERE ON TIME AND DO THEIR JOB RIGHT. I CAN'T THINK OF ONE TIME THAT THEY WERE ON TIME AND THE JOB WAS JUST "PRETTY GOOD".
