+ 0 moreit was a delighfully uncomplicated process from start to finish- driver called ahead, and arrived when and where he was supposed to i wasn't even there for the pick-up the pod was clean nothing more to report
Description of Work: pod was ordered and delivered to our home in chevy chase, md, we packed and the pod was delivered to our temporary home in annapolis, when our new home was ready , we moved everything from the pod into the new home, called for pick-up , and they picked up the empty pod

Description of Work: I was not told that they could only pick up the empty pods on Tues. and Thurs., so when I called for them to pick them up before my 30 day period expired, they told me it would be 2 weeks before pick up. That meant they billed my credit card AGAIN for another $376 dollars! I tried to call them twice to tell them it wasn't fair to be billed for something that I couldn't control. I gave them a weeks notice like they requested! They were not helpful! Would not use again!!!

+ -1 moreI liked that I could pack my things any way I wanted, and they left it at my previous home for as long as I needed it. They picked it up and stored it for two months while I was looking for a new home, and dropped it off where I wanted it and left it for as long as I wanted it left. I was wonderful. They were cheaper than hiring a moving company. I definitely would use them again.
Description of Work: I used PODS Moving and Storage when I moved to my new house.

+ -1 moreI used them in a recent move. I was basically unhappy with them. They were rather expensive, and didn't save me any time, or money. I am unhappy they charged me for two out of state moves, when it wasn't the case. I would not recommend them or use them in the future. I would like to participate in Angie's complaint resolution service.

+ -1 moreThe PODS container was delivered within two days of our asking for one. Setting up the delivery was very easy to do on line. The cost was very low since we kept the PODS on our property rather than having it stored in their warehouse or moved to another location. We used it to store furniture for a room that we were working on so that it would be out of the way. The container was very clean inside and out. It arrived on a huge flatbed truck with an ingenious loading apparatus. Delivery and pickup took about ten minutes each and all I had to do was watch. I submitted the request for pickup via their website and they came two days later. Very efficient and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely use them again for our next renovation project.
