NICK CASTELLANO CONSTRUCTION

Vince listened to what I thought I needed and made suggestions to guide me to what I really needed, which I very much appreciated. For example, I thought the demolition would take away the chain link fence around the retaining wall and it did not. The retaining wall has metal reinforcement rods and the cinderblock was filled with cement. Vince also covered the cinderblock with cement which gives the wall a smooth solid finish. He checked the drain in the landing and found it was not working. He put in a new drain and pipe before pouring the cement for the landing. He also put drains in the retaining wall. I have a brick veneer attached to the foundation. Nick had to do a work around to put his forms up for the stairs. He did a beautiful job working around the veneer. Attached to the contract was an explanation of how to care for the new concrete, the different types of deicers available, and comments on which ones are safer for concrete. I am very happy with my new concrete! The crew was very professional and the work reflected great attention to detail. I highly recommend them.

Nick, his son and the rest of the crew were awesome! I had several contractors come out to estimate the job, but they all wanted to pour new concrete over the old. Nick suggested that he would remove the old concrete. I new that was more work and expected the estimate to reflect that. However, his quote was right in line with the others. Furthermore, from speaking with him I had confidence he knew what he was talking about. I did not even need time to think about it and agreed while he was here to give him the job. Nick and his crew showed up as scheduled and were extremely professional and fast. When they were finished I was so impressed I could hardly believe it. I am an artist and if you ask me Nick and his crew are artists of concrete. I own several rental properties and live in a 110 year old house, so I have had the opportunity to work with many contractors over the years. I would have to put Nick Castellano and Son with the best of the best. No question about it. You can't go wrong hiring this company. If your experience is like mine, you'll be glad you did.

We got a number of estimates before calling Mr. Castellano because this was a very expensive job.. All the estimates were approximately the same, but Mr. Castellano was going to lay more inches of gravel and concrete than the others so we went with him. Had to wait for the weather to clear before starting the job. He and his workers were very professional. They worked for a few hours each day on three consecutive days. Their work was beautiful! Like craftsmen of years gone by, Mr. Castellano has pride of workmanship that you rarely see anymore. Would highly recommend.

WHEN THEY FINALLY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME, THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WAS NEAT. I AM ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. I JUST HAD A HARD TIME SCHEDULING THEM TO COME OUT.
