Tice Electric

1 Star/Buyer Beware. Tice Electric/Lusby, MD was scheduled numerous times to come and complete the work at my home for a kitchen remodel, but they were continuously a no-show on days they promised they would work. Further, they never give you the courtesy of a call. You have to chase after them. In my case, they received the bulk of the funds upfront and never finished. They have many negative reviews on line (Angi’s List, Servlectric, Google, etc and I wish I had looked at them first!) with the exact same complaints/issues dating back to at least 2016. Their work may have been good when they showed up, but, if they don’t show… it does you no good – buyer beware.

Does not show up, did some work, paid for part of work with promise to finish but did not return and would not return phone calls. Left my dock without power. Had to find another electrician.

Tice Electric was supposed to rewire my entire property. Contract estimated a 3 to 5 day project for initial rewiring. 3 weeks later it was done. Never shows up. Always an excuse. Had the nerve to ask for the full amount. Cost us an extra 2 weeks in time equating to $900 in weekly payments to project manager. Once drywall was up, it's taken another 2 1/2 weeks to have switches and fixtures and IT'S STILL NOT DONE. Won't show up when promises, won't return calls or texts, just randomly sends people when they see fit. Has cost us an extra 5 weeks in time and countless dollars.

They were super friendly on the phone, came the same day, and even dispatched someone who would not normally have responded when their first electrician ran long on another job. Great stuff and thanks!
