Rock Remodeling

Rock Remodeling is a premier contractor as far as I am concerned. They started the the job on time, the completed the job on time, and they paid attention to the details. My particular job was a paver patio that has a lot of curves and a big fire pit circle at one end. They set every curve with graceful precision and they build new staircase coming down from the house onto the patio out of top quality materials. When asked, they provided excellent advice for the design elements of patio for everything from layout to materials to color choices. They were the only contractor who provided me with a 3D rendering of my patio before the job started so I could see what the end result would look like.

The important things? They started on time, ended on time, and did a complete job for the agreed upon price.

He was very personable. I felt very comfortable with him and he left materials to look at.

You couldn't ask for a better experience. Once we got the job scheduled, the whole project went pretty quickly. The entire project was finished in less than a month, and there was observable progress every day. Clint was willing to work around the family dog, who stays in the back yard while we're at work, which was a huge, since we didn't have to worry about kenneling him during the project. Small changes after the project was started were accommodated with no complaints. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I'll be calling Rock Remodeling again when I'm ready for the next project..

Their estimate was timely and reasonable. The estimate was around $15,000. I only met with one person. He seemed like he was very honest and upfront about what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. It seemed more like a family owned company. It was just a father, son and couple of other people that worked for them. I liked that he seemed honest but I didn’t end up going with them. The drawing they did for me was well done. The estimate was right when he said he will have it to me. It was there and the price was good. They were definitely here on time.

Where to start....Ok, First and foremost, I called Clint of Rock Remodeling from work in the afternoon. He answered the phone immediately and was quite professional and friendly on the phone. He was able to come to my house THE NEXT DAY for my measuring and estimate. He was able to come to my house when it was convenient for me. He said he would be at my house at 430 in the afternoon. My phone rang about 433 and it was him. He got slightly turned around but wanted to make sure that I knew he was in the vicinity and was not going to be late. I appreciated that. He was dressed professionally with his company represented on his shirt. He was polite, he listened to me, and I feel he understood what we wanted. He made suggestions to me and if I didn't like them he did NOT pressure me to do something I did not want to do. He told me that after he left he'd have my estimate soon. I've heard that before from other businesses. I figured I would hear back from him in a week or so. Well, he came to my house on a Thursday evening. Friday evening he got in touch with me. Our estimate was done! He asked if we were going to be available Saturday to come show us. This impressed us. He did tell me that if we were busy for the weekend he could come by Monday, but we wanted a deck and Saturday worked for us. Again, he was dressed for the part and was friendly and professional. The best part was not only did he have our estimate, but he had a virtual model done on his iPad for us to see. That pretty much sold us. They started that week. Getting the permit and inspection was invisible to us and it actually happened quick enough to allow the guys to start earlier than what he said it may be. His employees worked harder than I've seen young men work in a long long time. Clint himself was here a few days working with them. Days when he wasn't here when I got home from work, his guys were working hard, not screwing around, and super polite! I would say 2/3 of the days of construction, Clint would stop by, look at the work, and when I'd go talk to him he would ask if I had any questions and make sure I was satisfied with everything. A couple evenings they wanted to stay later to finish a particular part of my deck. They made sure that they weren't too noisy with me and my wife and asked our permission to stay and work later. They finished the work on time and with superior quality. We were lucky and had great weather for my construction period. Also when they were done, they cleaned up everything! The dirt they had to remove was gone. (They actually leveled another part of my yard with excess dirt.) Any marks left by their equipment was gone. I now have a beautiful enjoyable deck and patio that we use daily! Thanks Rock Remodeling!
