Description of Work: Drain clogged, called this guy in because we used him before, did the work and provided 3 month warranty. However, the problem came back. Try to reach him and call MANY times, but he did not pick up phone any more. I know he is still active because he replied my call when I used another number. NEVER use this guy again!

+ 0 moreMr. Richards came out promptly after I contacted him regarding a sewer odor. I am very pleased with his service of cleaning my main sewer line and auging a toilet. He also provided a recommendation on a temporary measure. He gave me tips on how to use an alternative drain cleaning procedure to keep grease out of my drains and dishwasher and keep it fresh. His price was exactly as quoted even though I thought it was a bit high. I know the larger companies charge more but I don't use them. I will definitely refer him as I suspected that I had a problem in the main sewer system and everyone that I called previously looked at me like I didn't have a clue to what I was talking about.

Description of Work: Mr. Richard came out and unclogged our downstairs sink. He also replaced the piping under the downstairs sink.

+ 0 moreThis is the second time I've used Mr.Richards' services for a main line blockage. I have a big oak tree with roots that have permanently damaged the line, so am riding on fumes and relying on good maintenance until I can undertake this big repair. Mr. R was prompt, courteous and professional. He focuses on his one specialty, and does it well and reliably. He gave me a choice of times within a 24 hour period, and came on a Saturday morning because that was most convenient for me! (Most mom & pop plumbers that I researched or reached out to are only available during regular business hours during the week. This is tough for those of us with day jobs and not a lot of flexibility!). Mr. R gave me some tips for maintenance, and how frequently to do it, and also told me that this is a longer term problem that another professional would need to fix. I thought it rare and really appreciated the recommendations for what needed to be done (not for who should do it) considering that this would result in less business for him over time if I got it fixed. It took about 45 minutes to complete the work and he charged his very reasonable flat rate.
Description of Work: Mr. Richards diagnosed my main sewer line drain issue and cleaned it out using a power snake. He helped me identify the location of the clog and gave me some recommendations for maintenance and for long term remediation of the problem.
