No one ever contacted me to schedule an appointment. I do not want to chase contractors around nor do I want to schedule an appointment and have them not show up or show up hours late. I will look at other big deals for energy audits -- perhaps with an organization closer to Bethesda.

That was fantastic. I really wasn't sure what to do next with my home as far as making investments and so Complete Home Solutions, LLC were prompt, they came in, they walked through the house with me and then setup the blower to suck all of the air through the house and showed me all of the cold spots in the house, I guess it was warmer then so it was really the warm spots where the air was coming through and really some surprising areas, I was insulated better in some areas than I thought I was in others and then they gave me a few quotes and then my furnace went out so I had to replace the furnace first.

I was quickly informed by the company that they could not honor my coupon and suggested that I contact Angie's List to request a refund. The email was prompt and professional.

Due to some medical and family emergencies I was was unable to get the work and done. I'm definitely hoping to get it done this year if possibly and I would definitely use them.

This went very well. The technician was very helpful and gave a lot of helpful information. They came in and tested where I have air seeping out of the house. Getting the appointment set up was easy and the tech showed up on time. Once the work was done, I got a very thorough report on the audit. I was very pleased with service.

The company performed an energy efficiency home audit, and then completed the highest priority items identified in the audit, to primarily include insulation, sealing and some related tasks. POSITIVES: - Audit was scheduled and completed within a 10 days of first call. - Office staff was great to work with throughout the process, including scheduling, explaining the audit report and recommended actions; modifying the work package; and getting corrections done to the work even after payment was made. They also handled all the BGE rebate paperwork. The work was completed in late August and we received our BGE rebate check within 60 days (mid/late October). - Overall, the work has made a significant difference in the comfort level of our home during hot weather (we had one final week of real heat after getting the sealing and insulation in place), and we anticipate will do so also as cold weather approaches. - The primary work crew they sent was helpful, pleasant and easy to talk to. They were working under some exhausting conditions (an attic at over 100 degrees!!) and were pleasant to deal with throughout. ISSUES: - our house is nearly 50 years old, and they stumbled on some issues that took them longer than their originally scheduled 2 days to complete. I believe it ended up taking 3.5 days (not 2 days), which didnt impact me significantly, but is something to be aware of if you have a sensitive timeline - although I suspect the delays would have been for anybody doing the work... - a subcontractor to CHS came in to blow insulation into attic; their truck leaked fluids on the driveway (which washed off in rain the next day, but I had to keep the kids away from that area when we played outdoors that day) - one area of ceiling siding that they had to disturb (in a covered porch area) in order to re-insulate has since pulled/fallen off the house during a rainstorm (about a 2 ft x 4 ft section of a porch ceiling); *** SIDING issue revealed that CHS had NOT completed sufficient insulation in this area - in the one area that they HAD re-insulated, it was still 'leaky' and the SIDING company ended up completely re-insulating this sofit / ceiling area in addition to repairing the siding (which CHS had NOT even nailed back up correctly!!) NOTE: this particular issue significantly altered my impression of the QUALITY of the work performed by CHS. - also during the exterior repairs/siding removal, exterior light fixtures had to be detached. When we looked at the lights later, we saw that they were not attached evenly, and some wiring seemed to be 'not tucked back up' into the siding. THese lights were old, and in the subsequentweeks, we've had an electrician replace these lights with newer and better fixtures. (The CHS team lead had alerted us to the age/condition of the wiring when he was making the final fix, after we called them back out.) - one of the energy efficiency items that was to be repaired was the 'leaks' around several of our external doors. They installed weather stripping around three sides of the doors but did not install the section around the base of the doors (three of which def needed it). NOTE: I called the company back to ask about the door weather stripping and exteriorlighting, and they sent one of their team back to correct these issues.

It was great! The work performed was top-notch. They checked for gas leaks and insulated my pipes. The best part was the audit report I received. It contained infrared photos of the energy loss from my house. It also had a detailed report of all of their recommendations. Someone from the company even sat down with me for over an hour to go through it all. The level of communication was great every step of the way. The only issue I had was that the service provider had to reschedule a couple of times on pretty short notice. I would definitely recommend and use this company again.

It went well. They were prompt and explained thoroughly with a report of what they did. They also had referrals.

Other than a huge schedule snafu it went well. They are not easy to get to come to your home. It took several tries and was somewhat frustrating. They did do a good job once the arrived however and they provided a good report on the things that we could/should do to save energy. They had several "packages" available if you choose to use them to perform the actual work. Prices seemed high on first glance but I don't have much to compare it to. Overall I was satisfied.

I scheduled them multiple times and they never showed.

Went through house and then provided comprehensive report. Some of suggestions were a little expensive but it was a very thorough report.

Well, the estimate was great. It was very educational and I was anxious to get the work done, although I didn't have the money to do it at the time. I will schedule it as soon as possible now that I have funds. They were very polite and professional. And they explained everything they wanted to do and didn't make wild promises about how soon the insulation would pay for itself.

GREAT!!!! The quality of work was amazing. Initially, I have the home energy audit which showed that my house was not energy efficient at all. They sent a huge booklet labeling everything with a bundle price. The most difficult thing about this process was getting changes to estimates. If everything was itemized it would have been easier than me calling and waiting for estimates. I asked for 3 additional estimates and it took over a month to get all the information I needed to make a decision. Regardless, I schedule work with CHS because I don't like to shop around too much. I scheduled the services and the workers arrive early everyday. I was very impressed with their promptness. As they performed the services they showed me everything they were doing so I can have a better understanding of the energy efficient benefits. How the workers performed the work was worth the wait. I would recommend CHS because the complete quality work, but if you need a estimate for a project quickly they may not be your best option.

They did lots of tests to show where air was seeping in to the house and where pipes were not working efficiently. Later, they sent a booklet with a list of recommendations. I wish these recommendations could have been itemized rather than bundled as a package. The cost to do these things would have been over $3000.

I bought a big deal on Angie's List for them last year. I was overseas for a while. They were kind enough to let me use the big deal anyway even though it had expired. They were very professional, courteous and thorough.

I purchased a big deal from Angie’s List. They were good. Everything went well. It took few hours, seemed to be nice and knew what they were talking about and all that good stuff. They were here on time. I just liked the way the talked me through everything. They were pleasant and it was a good experience. The price was great. The quality was good.

We contacted Complete Home Solutions for the BGE Energy Audit, and communicating we were having the audit done primarily to give us access to the rebates available for replacing our current (tanked) water heater with a tankless one. I explicitly covered the desire for water heater replacement to be performed after the audit, and the representative affirmed this desire. The audit was completed in a professional manner. However, after money changed hands, it appears the company lost interest. The work order accompanied with the energy audit report listed some insulation work, but no tankless water heater. Phone calls were repeatedly not answered or "handled". After about a month of trying to work with them, given their positive ratings on Angie's List and the limited population of BGE certified contractors to qualify for rebates, I gave up. It is now July, so I am going to find another contractor. Thank goodness my current water heater is functional! My impression is this is a company that will say what it takes, to have the audit itself done, but has no motivation beyond the payment for the audit. I will not be using this company again, despite the professionalism during the audit itself.

I had some water come into the basement where they'd dug that had never flooded in that location before. Although I'm not sure about the occasional flooding and its cause, I'd say overall the owner and foreman were easy to work with and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. The foreman or the owner (sometimes both) were on site every day checking on the staff or supervising them. This was especially important as I'd never dealt with a renovation project before. I saw the foreman in a Home Depot store after they completed the work and asked his advice on some materials I wanted to purchase and even then he gave me some advice. I recommend them and would use them again.

They arrived on time for the appointment and provided a thorough report. I was very happy with their findings and information. I did choose to go with another contractor do complete the work but Complete Home Solutions is someone I would call in the future.

The company was very professional and gave me the initial audit without any "hard sales" for follow-up insulating. I received a thorough audit document that provided various options for mitigating energy "leaks" in my house. I requested that they perform almost all the remediation work to tighten up my house and increase energy efficiency. We scheduled two days for them to return and perform the work; they were prompt and professional during all the work. After the work was completed the company applied for rebates from BGE and the state of Maryland; I got almost half the cost of the work performed back in the form of rebates. My energy bills went down and our home is more comfortable on all three levels because temperatures are more even now. During the work Complete Home Solutions discovered that a water heater had been installed incorrectly (the vent duct wasn't drawing off gas fast enough) and they corrected this at no charge - this could have been a safety issue if not corrected. I talked with the workers during their audit and follow-up work and learned a great deal about how my house works as a "system", this was useful information that they were happy to share. It was a pleasure having them perform the work.

Overall the work was average. The work team was very agreeable. However, they did leave duct insulation mastic on my bathroom rug that will not come out, and they had to come back to finish insulation work that was spotty. We were told that our 16-year-old hot water heater was not venting properly. We got a second opinion which revealed no problem. The initial audit noted the hazard of the hot water heater, but after sealing the home more, the follow-up auditor (from CHS) found no problems with the water heater. It has been almost two years, and the water heater is just fine. I felt that I was being told to replace something with little evidence of it being a problem other than it was old. I will say the company worked very well to get our rebate paperwork submitted so that we were eligible for the money on schedule.

Very well. They did a good job. With the 50% reimbursement from the utility company, it was a good deal.

Excellent. The two gentlemen were very personable and informative. They replaced lightbulbs and thoroughly answered my questions and discussed options. I intend to follow through with some of the suggestions made on the report they prepared and sent me.

It was a very good experience. They were professional. The gentleman certainly knew what he was talking about. He took his time to explain things, and he was good. The price was good for the audit. We did not go forward with the work because it was more than we were planning on. When we were at the end after he went through and told us everything we needed and the appointment, he said that it would not be above that much. We got all excited, thinking that it was great and that we were able to get all those work done, but when the actual quote came back, it was almost double what he had indicated. So, that is the only downside I would say.

Mr Burgee was on time, spent plenty of time inspecting our house from top to bottom, and was most thorough.
