We called our home warranty company with an urgent request for someone to clear this problem ASAP that same day, because we were loading up to move that day and selling our home the very next day. They gave me the number for Drain Right (I think this is the same as Drain Relief!!!) and the owner adjusted his schedule to come out to clear what he thought would only take a few minutes. It took less than 15 minutes to snake the drain after testing the flow. I was asked to flush the toilet upstairs, then run the tub water, then do both at once. He identified the issue quickly and cleaned it out. We were extremely happy with how quickly he responded to our need and how careful he was in checking things out. Very professional. Don't know how much it would have cost without a home warranty involved, so put N/A above on that. Every other category is definitely an A! Please be sure that Angie's List chose the right company to receive my review, however! Drain Relief may be a different company than Drain Right! I know Drain Right is on Angie's List, but just at the back of the list of contractors because he is not a paying member.

Receptionist pleasant on the phone, sent someone right away (this was on a weekday). Plumber arrived, took care of all the materials and got the work done in about 30 minutes. Did a couple other small jobs too - tightened sink supply lines for me - since he said I paid for an hour of plumbing work.

Charlie, one of the Drain Stopper plumbers, was prompt and flexible on scheduling to get the work done asap in the morning so that I could get to work. They will start very early if you ask. The basic fee covers transportation and the first hour of work. There were no additional charges for minor materials supplied (a couple feet of copper pipe). Charlie was friendly, professional and got the job done quickly. Overall a good experience.

Bottom line: Joe did a great job on the work with repairing the drain system on my toilet. Although I thought I had one problem, I found out the real problem was beneath the toilet itself. He took time to show me the issue and explained how and what he was going to do to fix the problem. He conducted the work quickly and cleaned up when he finished.

We have had chronic problems with our basement toilet drain clogging. Over the recent years, we had several failed attempts to completely rectify the problem. In March, we hired a different plumber to put a camera down our toilet drain to locate the problem. The problem was quickly determined to be a large mass of toilet paper stuck at the backwater valve. The backwater valve is located in our basement floor just outside our basement bathroom. The mass of toilet paper was limiting the waste pipe from draining easily and also holding the valve open which would prevent the valve from stopping a back flow. Not wanting to deal further with the expensive plumber that diagnosed this problem, we called Drain Relief to unclog and repair the valve. Prior to scheduling Drain Relief's service call, I went on line and located the vendor of the backwater valve that is in my basement floor (http://www.plasticoddities.com/bwv.htm). Replacing the valve would have been an extensive and expensive repair (part of the concrete basement floor would have to be dug up), so I ordered a backwater valve repair kit from Plastic Oddities. This provided a new flapper, gasket, cover, and four bolts. When Drain Relief arrived at my house for my service call, I explained the problem (as above) and provided the backwater valve repair kit that I purchased from Plastic Oddities. In less than an hour, Drain Relief removed the cover from the backwater valve, pulled out the mass of toilet paper that was stuck in the valve, and replaced the backwater valve flapper, gasket, and cover. Most of the work was in cutting the four bolts that held the cover on the valve - they were extremely corroded after 26 years of service! Following this work by Drain Relief, our basement toilet drains perfectly every time!

Great separate experiences for the gas leak and plumbing repairs on my rental unit. Drain Relief is now my go to team. Thanks Joe!

They came out the same day and they did a great job. The price was very reasonable.

They were fine, helpful and good. The plumber tried to clean up the place. He also had all the equipment that was needed. I would refer him to others.

They took time between larger (and probably more profitable) emergency projects to get the toilets installed on the afternoon they had committed to. They were courteous and professional and took care in ensuring the new toilets were set tightly on the wax seals.

We'd bought a townhome and when we entered home after closing (July), there was water coming into basement. We eventually realized that it was coming from the pipe that leads into the house. Our realtor recommended his personal plumber. Joe came over to speak to our realtor and I and gave me a verbal worst-case scenario price, which I really appreciated (just knowing what it would cost at the worst is nice). I couldn't be there for the day of the work, so my agent was there. They got a backhoe and did whatever they needed to do. They came back the next day and discovered a tiny leak at interior water meter inside house, so they fixed that too. Then, since they had to cut the tag at the meter, my agent came back to the house to meet County water guy to re-attach tag. They probably could've been a little neater at smoothing out the dirt in yard, etc., but that's no big deal.

I have used this company several times and have found them to be reliable, honest and fair in their pricing.
