Edward’s Lawn & Landscaping

They crew was punctual, did good work and left lawn looking nice. Cost was somewhat high, however. They did not clean up leaves which had fallen into the street gutter from my trees, so I'll be sure to ask them to do this the next time I hire them. All-in-all, they were terrific.

We had a small infant and couldn't manage all the leaves ourselves, so we contacted several leaf removal services. Edward's got back to us promptly and professionally. We handled everything over email, which was super convenient. They came once in November and scheduled to come again in December. However, we had so much snow in December they couldn't make it. They ended up coming in January so we got what we paid for. They did a thorough job, although it took longer than I expected so ended up costing a little more than I expected. We have since had to take down our two large oak trees so don't have the leaf mass we used too and probably won't need a leaf service again, but if we did we would strongly consider Edward's.

It was overall really good. It was fine. They were very competitive.

Great! The estimate and proposal process was quick and thorough. Everyone I spoke with or communicated through email with was professional, prompt, and very nice. Work was completed meticulously. Workers were all very polite, worked very hard and neatly. I would not hesitate to recommend this landscaping company to anyone who wants reliable and thorough service.

It went very well. Scheduling was fine and they were flexible. The crew was excellent. The results seem to be very good and we’re thinking of using them again.

First off, I made the mistake of buying two trees from someone who would not plant them but would give me contact info on someone who would plant them. I could never get that contact to call me back. Meanwhile, the trees were languishing, one in a burlap root ball and one in a large container, on my driveway. The tree in burlap was lying on its side. We had some very hot weather and then VERY cold weather. I started calling companies that advertised in the local paper. I left numerous voice mail messages. Finally I called Edward's. Not only did a pleasant young woman answer the phone, she also asked the owner the questions that I needed answered. I even talked to the owner. I talked to two live people and not to an answering machine. We set up a time, agreed on a price. Two gentlemen (Kerry and Juan) came on time (actually, early) and started work immediately. Kerry had a concern about a condition issue on one of the trees so he took some photos on his phone and brought them to me for discussion so I wouldn't have to go out in the cold. I felt sorry for them as it was below freezing on that day. Despite that, they took their time (over 2 1/2 hours) and did an excellent job. They were polite and even cheerful no matter the weather. I was so grateful to finally have my trees in the ground. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We correspond with the company via email. They are always upfront about the cost and date the will provide the service. We have used them numerous times in the past 3 years. They are courteous and professional, taking the time to answer questions and offer suggestions. Overall, they do GREAT work and a pleasure to deal with.

They wrote two separate proposals for the job, one for what the offer covered, and one for additional work. I reviewed the proposals and decided to decline the second one. They refused to honor the deal unless the additional work was included. They had an unprofessional attitude, so I decided to not use this company.

The team removed all ivy that had spread over my lawn and was climbing up several trees. After the ivy was all removed and hauled away, periwinkle was planted for ground cover, followed by mulch. It was an extensive job, taking 2 days to complete. The workers were thorough and did a great job. They answered my questions readily.

The lawn was well manicured in a timely fashion. I would hire again.

Service provider will not do service, says lot it too big.

They cleaned out the bed, planted one crepe myrtle tree and 11 other shrubs and Liriope all along the front of the bed. They removed old mulch and put down new mulch. They transplanted a peony for me to a new location in the back yard. Everything went very well. They left me with instructions for watering and plant care. The following spring, after last winters difficult weather, I was a bit concerned about the tree, so I emailed Edwards with my concern, and they stopped by to take a look at it and reassured me all was well. And it was, the tree and everything else they planted is doing just fine. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them in the future.

Everything went on time and the work was done with excellence.

Excellent work, very responsive, reasonable prices

Job was done very well overall. This contractor is very professional; provided detailed proposal with price quote prior to work, listing everything we had discussed. Showed up on time, and completed work as expected. Quality of work done was very good.

They are local. I talked to the owner directly which was nice. The price was very good.

It was outstanding. They showed up, even though the weather was threatening, which was great for the seeding. A aeration was orderly and no spots were missed. The overseeding including a regular seed spreading as well as by hand and excessive seeds placed on dirt patches. The service tech was knowledgeable as well as personally interested in plants lawns etc. I indeed give him an A+, his asssistant the same, he did the seed spreading and covered all the areas, three parts to the lawn and not so easilty to work with. The overseeded what was sod from two years ago that died after one season, and 7 days after the service, real grass is grown in shade, too early to see it fill in, but the grass is growing and there is promise of a good lawn. I will be using this service again for spring lawn care.

They were very professional, and they came on time, but we had a communication problem. I would call and leave a message, and he would call and leave a message when we were scheduling one of the appointments. They did a very good job, but they were a little bit pricy, that was the main complaint that we had. I have gotten several reminders from them this year, but we just can't do it this year.

They performed the service while I was not even there and did a fine job.

Edwards lawn did a great job. They were very carful with our siding when removing the ivy. The final project looks wonderful. They even relocated three peony bushes we had that where in the way. They mulched additional areas around the side of the house at no charge because they had the extra mulch to use. They followed up with a call to make sure we were happy with the results and understood how to take care of the new plants. The only problem we have is there is now grass growing in our new mulch bed. We water the new plants everyday as we were instructed but it's growing grass! We left a message with Edwards about the grass when returning their call to see how things were going. We have no doubt they will return our call and let us know what we can do. They have always been very efficient and nice when getting back to us durring the whole process. We will use them again.

They did excellent service. They were really pricey. There was an unexpected snowfall at the time that I was scheduled and they did not show up. I had to call them to reschedule. Once they came out, they were great. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I was a little surprised with the cost. I hadn't asked for an estimate in advance but their work was great. I had no complaints about the work. They do great work if you want to put the money into it. The quality of their work is great. They didn't call me to reschedule or to cancel when they weren't able to come.

The results were excellent. we have one of the best yards in the neighborhood. All our questions were answered and they were able to provide some the same variety of male holly plants to match our hollies. Thanks to Kyle, Matt and all the Edwards Crew.

Could not have been any better. Called the company to get an estimate for repairing my front lawn due to a pipe burst and the repair contractor leaving my lawn with uneven mounds of clay and rocks. Kyle came out the next day at the appointed time and he felt confident that he could repair my lawn. While he was there I asked if he could install some extension piping to the sump pump which was causing a muddy mess close to the house. Kyle said he would be able to do this project as well. An estimate arrived by email the same day and the price was reasonable. I sent a deposit and a week later the workmen arrived. They did a fantastic job. The ground was leveled and new top soil and seed planted. No longer is any mud near the side of my house; Water from the sump pump is redirected 3 feet away within a pipe trenched underground.

Work was done on 2 separate yard sections, two men worked all day to complete the job. There was some left over mulch that they put on a separate garden bed for me at no extra charge. Several neighbors have stopped and commented how great my yard looks.
