Great service, price, and results.

The provider sprinkled some red clay-like material around the area. When I stepped on the material, it gave way to its original form. It rained the following day. Within 24 hours of completion, the area looked the same as it had before I paid $650 - except now it was red and muddy. I contacted the owner to ask him to inspect the job. He insisted that he was only providing "prep work." This was completely false. I had explained to him that my goal was to build a playground and needed level ground to ensure that it would be a safe place for my kids. I had read all of the positive reviews for Edwards before hiring them for this job so I was shocked at the lack of pride they took in their work. And it may be the case that they only do poor and shoddy work for "smaller" jobs. I think he contracts out the smaller projects - or hires people from the home depot parking lot. I had priced other companies but they had all proposed using equipment that would require me tearing down and rebuilding a fence - so I went with the option that didn't require the extra work. It was a huge mistake. I had to get others to dig around the area so that it was reasonably flat - a job made harder by Edwards' "work." I had to delay building the playground and cancel other appointments. All told, hiring Edwards ended up being a disaster.

Drew and his team did an outstanding job. They put in the extra time to work on the areas of my lawn that need some additional attention and were careful to not hit my irrigation system.

Prompt arrival. Company marked vehicle which I always appreciate. The folks wore uniforms, explained the service they were providing, and went to work. Took only 20-30 minutes. Simple, professional, and effective. Grass looks pretty amazing now.

Everything went really well! Kyle is very responsive and reached out immediately to schedule a consultation. He drew up the proposal that day, and we were able to sign the contract and start on the work within a few weeks. His crew was excellent, very professional, and very hard working. We had no issues at all throughout the entire process, and would definitely work with this company again!

I picked the busiest time of the year to have this service done, but Drew was very responsive and I was able to schedule the service to the exact day and time I wanted. The came out, did their thing, and left. Drew is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Edward's Lawn and Home.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Kyle came to the house and had a proposal later that afternoon. He was very helpful concerning suggestions for ways to make the yard easier to care for in the future. Very responsive to questions and modifications to the proposal. The work was scheduled quickly and finished on time with no problems. The office staff were pleasant, professional, and very helpful. Everything looks great. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

Kyle and his team did a great job with the backyard cleanup and it looks good. I appreciate Kyle's quick response with the estimate, my questions and concerns. I would use the company again and recommend to others.

Kyle was very nice and helpful. He arrived about 15 minutes before I did as I was stuck in traffic. When I got there he had already measured my yard and came up with some good ideas. My yard currently has two levels, with a retaining wall and steps going down to the lower level of my yard. This lower level is currently covered with weeds. Kyle and I discussed my options with the lower level, as it would be too difficult to get a mower down there if it were grass. He informed me that I have 18 feet of yard in the lower level, and we could slope the dirt down and gain a significant amount of yard space. We determined that gaining that yard space was the best plan, as I could then have grass and accessibility to mow it. Although their plan and professionalism was great, the price was just too high for me to be able to consider. Due to my small side yard, patio, and shed there is no go way to get a truck to my back yard, thus the dirt would have to be brought in manually. This brought the price higher than what I am willing to do.

I bought a house with about 50 plants lining both sides of the driveway. Instead of paying $1,000 for weeding and mulching every spring, I had Edward's remove the plants. They showed up when they said they would and they did a good job.

Excellent. I came home in the evening and all work was done with no trace of any debris or mulch on the lawn or walkways. I would definitely use them again for any landscaping in my yard.

Initially it went fine. Took a day or two to get a call back but then scheduled the estimate. Apparently, my address was written down incorrectly and they left a message on my home phone Friday asking me to clarify. I have teenagers. Never got the message. The day of the appointment arrived - three business days later - and no phone call and no show. I called, assuming they were lost. The secretary let me know that they called and were waiting for me to respond. I let her know that I thought they should have followed up - certainly the day before or the morning of the appointment. They could not reschedule my estimate until a week later. I was a small business owner for many years before I moved here. I couldn't run my business this way and i don't know how anyone else does. I would not call them in the future. Maybe some will feel that this is harsh, but as a business person, I take professionalism and good customer service very seriously, when I don't receive it, especially from a company here on Angie's list, I believe in letting others know of my experience.

The service performed was exceptional - they absolutely went above and beyond what we expected. The initial installation went very smoothly. They crew worked very efficiently given the large area that needed to be worked on. They provided us regular updates to the progress and gave us very good instructions for how to care for the lawn to give the grass the best chance to grow. When we had some concerns about the effects a particularly strong rain had on the lawn about 1 week after the work was completed, they sent out their operations manager to look things over and assured us that it wasn't nearly as bad as we had originally thought. While they could have recommended some additional work immediately (which we could have believed would have been appropriate), they recommended waiting a few weeks before doing any touch-up work to give things time to come in - that absolutely saved us money in the long run. When they came back out for the follow-on work, they took care to find the areas where some additional soil and seed were most needed and treated those areas. While the lawn is still a work in progress, they have definitely helped make this as easy of a process as possible.

All the plants delivered where of the highest quality. One laurel in the back is struggling a bit but we think it will be ok. The gardens were all weeded and cleaned down to the dirk, before applying new, dark mulch. These guys spent a full one and a half days here and worked consistently hard the entire time. Crew size was mostly 3 people, but went as high as 5 people for certain periods. I could not be more pleased and plan on more work in the future. Kyle and his guys are pros.

Edward's was responsive and professional. They showed up on time and had an estimate to us within a few days. We signed the contract after asking a few questions (which they dutifully answered) and they were out the next week to start the mowing service and a few days later took care of the yard clean up. There are few things I enjoy spending money on but every time I pull into my driveway I am so happy we don't have to worry about the yard work. With so much going on, it had become too much of a chore that we fought with our schedule to get done. We have lots of mature trees and about 1/3 an acre. Plus, honestly, they do a MUCH better job then we did on our own!!

I saw the ad in the Angies List magazine and because they are a) local b) highly rated and c) offering a 20% discount I responded by email. Kyle quickly returned my email and arrived the next day to prepare the estimate. Even though I didn't think he could keep track of all of the plants, places and plans- he did and prepared the estimate almost as I asked. When he emailed it to me I asked him to add a few things and we settled on the price and dates. They arrived on the promised day, Matt reviewed the whole job with me and they got right to work. The job took 21/2 days and was done well. Matt made several observations and recommendations about some of the existing plantings which is something you don't get from DIY or the neighborhood mulch guy.

Edward's is extremely professional - truly a fire&forget service. After talking to them originally (last year, sorry for slow reviews) - they came out to inspect our (postage stamp) lawn and shrubs. They gave us a rapid and detailed estimate for both mulching/cleanup and regular lawn trimming. After this point, our lawn was kept in great repair, with edging and trimming as well as mowing proceeding at a perfect rate. Mulching and bush tending was also done quite well. Their customer service is also great - any issues with invoicing or confusion about billing were dealt with in a rapid manner - very responsive to concerns. Overall a great service, we've had them 2 years, and intend to continue until my children are old enough to mow themselves.

Edward's didn't bother to contact me personally as I had asked him to do. He asked questions via Angies messaging and apologized that he didn't contact me sooner after the first message and then did it again. All I needed to know was when would someone come out to have a look and give me a price OR let me know they weren't interested. Now it's almost too late to find someone else as most lawn care/ landscape firms are very busy.

This landscaper is very professional, responsive and trustworthy. Our grass is green and full. When I ask for an addition, they are prompt and do very neat work. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Edwards was fantastic! They're prices were in-line with other quotes we received; however, they were always great about communication and timely in their responses (which is what sold us). If we weren't moving we would continue using them for as long we owned this house and will definitely recommend to the next owners. Thanks Edwards!

I have been using them just since last August. There were no issues. It was scrap top grilling. The quality of the service was good.
