This was the second estimate we had received, and the information they gave us about what needed to be done was consistent with what another provider told us. We chose this company because of the professionalism of the staff and the cost of the estimate. They did the work efficiently and neatly. We were very pleased, and the heat pump worked well through the rest of the winter and so far this summer.

Spent couple of hours checking all systems for Freon pressure, furnace status and cleaning out condensate lines.

I am very pleased with how honest and helpful this company is. My A/C stopped working and I was dreading the worst and was afraid I would need a new one. I was so relieved when the technician merely had to reset the system and assured me that my A/C was ok. Will definitely recommend this company!

I had a good experience with them. They provide good service. They are very professional, always seem to know what they are doing and get the job done. The price was reasonable.

They were punctual, and their price was good. They thought they had it fixed, but they did not, so they came back and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend them. They did a good job!

Compressor failed on 15 yr old Carrier central air system. We discussed options and since the old system relied on older generation coolant that is no longer manufactured the technician suggested we replace the system rather than replace only the compressor. Had compressor unit and evaporator coil replaced in current gas furnace system. Field technicians arrived on time and spent a full day with the installation as they predicted. They removed all the old components and cleaned up after they finished.

They were very punctual. They squeezed us in. I had an issue with a noise that it was making. My husband thought that the guy did a good job, but i was not pleased because I still have the noise, but in fairness to them I was on a vacation. So, I did not have a chance to call them back again. They were professional, quick, and knowledgeable.

The sales associate Brian was very responsive and was able to schedule an appointment 1 day after I called the main office for an estimate. After spending about an hour measuring rooms and discussing various options he provided a written estimate by the end of the next day. The installation was scheduled for the next week. The 2 man crew was prompt and friendly and the installation took the estimated 2 days. The old equipment was removed and the cleanup was great. I gave them a C rating on price only because I was unable to get any other contractor to give me an appointment in a timely fashion and we had a non-operating system. I was very happy with the quick service and am happy with the recommended Carrier system.

We originally called another company and, after being on hold for 7 minutes, was greeted by a rude receptionist who practically hung up on us (first impressions mean a lot). We immediately called Arundel Cooling, Heating, and Electrical and was greeted by a friendly voice, who quickly scheduled us for an appointment within hours. The technicians: (1) called before the appointment time as promised, (2) arrived ahead of schedule,(3) thoroughly assessed the problem, (4) provided feedback/education, (5) quickly fixed the issue, (6) patiently answered questions, (7) rechecked the AC unit & reset the thermostat, (8) left the area clean, and (9) provided excellent & professional service during the entire visit. Additionally, the lead technician advised us that they often waive the diagnostic fee if they have to make a repeat visit.

Two days before leaving town, we came home to a cold house and a non-responsive system. Not being able to take the next day off to wait for a repair person we began calling companies with emergency repair services to get someone out that same evening. Arundel Heating and Cooling responded within an hour and gave us a repair cost that was reasonable for the situation. The technician was professional and respectful. We will be hiring them to come out again for all of our cooling and heating needs.

The salesperson was professional and non-pushy. He thoroughly explained the options and let us make the decision based on our particular circumstances. Contract was signed and date set for installation in 2 days. The installation team arrived on time to dismantle the old system and install the new one. They explained the operations of the new system and thermostat. The team memebers were professional, efficient and cleaned up before they left. Would definitely recommend Arundel Cooling & Heating.

I initially spent $100 but there was potential spending up to about $15,000. The work was done very poorly. They were supposed to give me a full weatherization report. I didn't get to receive it even though I paid them their fee. I had to go hunt them down in order for them to give me estimates on proposals to replace my heating, A/C and also my hot water tank. I've left numerous messages, I've sent emails but I have never gotten any kind of timely response from them. I've gotten some price list from them and they seem to be a little on the high side but I don't think they're out of way in that field.

I scheduled Arundel H&C for a Friday in the morning. I had to change it to 5 pm because the tenant would not be there in the morning. I was supposed to receive a call from the Arundel H&C technician when he arrived and also to discuss what was wrong before any work was done. I did not receive a call. I therefore assumed he did not show up. I called Arundel H&C again on Saturday trying to schedule the work. The company was responsive at this time and rescheduled the work. The planner called me back and said the technician actually was there the previous evening and found the freon was low. He stated a leak check would need to be done to determine the problem. I did not hear from them again until I called on Monday. The planner stated the technician did arrive on Saturday and filled the unit with freon. I was confused because if there was a leak, and a leak check was scheduled, why fill it with freon? I thought they were trying to take advantage of me. In actuality, they did not. Just the opposite. After checking with the technician, the planner explained that the technician did a quick leak check and found no leak. He then felt confident to replace the freon. I was afraid I was going to have to replace the whole unit for a cost of $2,000-$2,500 but the final bill was $250. So, in the end, the company performed well, with honesty and integrity. It was their communication with me that was the only issue.

They were fast and courteous. Their quote was in line with others. I would recommend them. They were quick and they cleaned everything.

HVAC installation went perfectly fine. Appliances arrived early (at 7am) shortly followed by 2 man work crew. They worked through out the day w/ no problems. They started around 8am and finished a little before 5pm as originally estimated. The problem entered when there was some miscommunication between Accurate Air and their bank. Due to this miscommunication AA could not include the air duct cleaning (as originally requested) w/n the financing; and therefore, needed to be completed at a later date. Unfortunately, this meant not receiving a significant discount on the duct cleaning as originally written on the quote. Not giving the significant discount is understandable since they wouldn't have the benefit of the other 2 guys working on the HVAC system to help, BUT AA refused to compromise and give 50% of previously quoted rate (meeting me half way) if completed on another day. I believe this qualifies for a "B" rating on customer service. What happened to "a happy customer is a repeat customer"? As a result, I didn't make the additional service call to AA (used another company instead) and AA lost a service call. I recommend AA to put in HVAC units, but I can't say you'll receive over the top customer service on additional services.

The service was great. The Technician was very nice. The reason why gave them a B on service was because the technician forgot to reconnect the AC to the furnace and so I had to have someone come out on an emergency call to reconnect it which cost more money and I was not happy about that.

It was very quick. I didn't know why my heating had shut off and needed it taken care of because the temperatures were so low in the house. ACH&E came quickly (the next day) and took care of the problem, but it only took about 10 mins and the cost of materials was less than $5, but the guy had to charge me their mandatory visit fee of $100. I'd use them again if I had a bigger problem.

My tenant called me in the morning saying the A/C unit was blowing air but not cooling. The company I use on a regular basis had no available time for the entire week, so I checked on Angie's list for provider in the area and Arundel Cooling,Heating & Electrical Co Inc had very good reviews, and also the company I use regularly recommended them as well. The appointment setter was extremely polite, and promised to have someone that same day in the afternoon- in reality the technician came within 2 hours-I was amazed. The technician named Justin told my tenant it was the capacitor which he replaced and he also cleaned the drains. My tenant said that the technician was very nice, professional, and the job was done within 20 minutes or so - I was glad as it was close to 100F that day and my tenant has three little kids. I checked around for the price I was charged (service fee and separate price for the capacitor) and they were slightly higher than the company I usually use, and another reputable company that I called for comparison, but I cannot complain as they came within hours, and fixed the problem-I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to friends.

I called on 30 May for a/c problems, and was surprised that I was able to get a next day service appt. I was called 30 minutes prior to the tech arriving. James Brummett, technician for Arundel CH&E, arrived on 31 May and began diagnosing my a/c issues. His many years of experience was evident, as well as his professionalism. He performed no work until I authorized him to do so, he answered my many questions, and didn't shy away when I asked him his opinion. He then found that I had a coolant leak. Unfortunately, the severity of the leak was not able to be identified until he cleaned the condesor coil. He immediately informed me that recharging the system would be a waste of money. I then asked him to draft a couple of proposals. He explained the bill, proposals, and work the proposals would entail. James was clearly not running up the bill, gave me multiple options of on-site and proposed work, and was able to explain this all in plain language. While the reason for his visit was bad news, I am very pleased with the work performe

I found out originally they did no diagnostics to see what the exact problem was so I ended up spending money unnecessarily. They were not very professional, and I would not use them again.

Technician arrived on time, worked quickly, and clearly explained the work that was done along with how to avoid future re-occurrence. I would definitely use the company again in the future.

The installation was very professional and the staff helpful and responsive. The only issue was that the process is very confusing with regard to licenses, initial and final inspections etc. We got different versions of the process from different members of the staff which made the process a bit frustrating and longer than expected. It would help if a check list of the process was given to the client and it was made more clear who (company or client) is responsible for what steps. One issue may be that the requirements are different depending on which county you live in. Other than this, we were very pleased with the quality and workmanship and would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering a generator.

The salesman, Jerry, was very professional and pleasant. He walked us thru his opinion of what we needed to do. The techs who installed the system, which was a 2nd zone for the top floor, were timely, polite and quite knowledgeable. Prior to the actual installation, they hired a contractor to install pull-down stairs for the attic. The contractor was fast, competent and neat. It took 5 business days to install the system and it works great! Each day after the techs completed their work they cleaned up all their mess. It was estimated that we would need another sub panel for the electric, but they found it was not necessary and Arundel Cooling gave us 500.00 back, which was what would have been the cost. The new system is so quiet I hear no sounds when it comes on and off, I only feel the difference. This company was great and I would absolutely refer them and do business with them again.

The work turned out fine! The person who came was very polite, considerate and helpful. He changed the filters and cleaned the area.
