Air conditioner stopped working/cooling at 8pm on Thursday night (mid-summer). Called Arundel Cooling and Heating first given their high reviews on Angie's List. They were very curteous on the phone and were able to send a technician the next evening at an after-hours rate. The technician, Steve M., was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, and very thorough. He quickly assessed and fixed the problem (broken control wire) and then went above and beyond by checking our other HVAC systems and advising on future upgrades and maintenance. We were incredibly pleased with the quality of Steve's service and definitely plan to use Arundel Cooling and Heating for any future needs.

reconnected wires that had come off due to vibration. checked the temp, inside unit, and outside unit. very responsive. extremely professional. experienced service man. knowledgeable of my systems inside and outside. recommended the minimum required to make the system work properly.

I did not like them and I am trying to get my money back from them. They had repair people out three times but still no air conditioning. They got it running once for two weeks and then they came back. So I?m out $1200 and they did not get it running and I had to call another company. So, I called them once and left a message about refunding my money because when you pay for that amount, you expect a service that works. Then my husband had surgery so I had to put the issue aside. And now when I called them again I found out that there is $200 maintenance contract which I am trying to cancel. But as far as I am concerned, Arundel is a disaster. They don?t give you a window time when they are coming. Sometime during the day we always are at the end of the day. They never came early enough. We have a disabled in the house who cannot stand the heat. One of the office people was rude. I will not recommend them to anybody. The man who came out, the second company that we hired, spotted the problem right away and said that it is the motor. I had a bad experience with them. They came out three times, charged me for two parts and nothing happened. They were not able to diagnose a simple problem. We were always be at the bottom of the line, they cannot give us a window of time and I think that was the most common complain about them when I checked online.

Service couldn't be scheduled in a timely fashion, so another provider was chosen.

That turned okay. I purchased the Big Deal, I tried to set up the appointment and they got back to me and told me they would see me in about 3 weeks. That was never mentioned in the Big Deal and I needed them out in a couple of days. They were able to come out after a couple of days when I brought that to their attention.

Freon was added and the system was cleaned. The tech gave us a honest evaluation of our current system. He was very courteous and thorough in the job he performed. System operated much better and cooler after the service.

It turned out good. There was follow up and I liked their customer service. They were helpful. They were also easy to get in touch with and the worker showed up on time.

It went well. They were responsive and and came on time.

Contacted 3 separate companies for quotes on replacing an existing Heat Pump. Arundel Cooling and Heating was the most responsive out of all 3 companies. I got a response from the owner via email the next day and within an hour of the owner's email I was able to schedule an appointment for an estimate conveniently done on Saturdays. I was interested in a couple of brands of Heat Pumps but was initially given a quote on the cheapest Heat Pump. I believe this was done because I was leaning towards a more cost friendly install, however upon receiving the initial quote, doing some research on the brand and following through with other companies for brand comparisons, I went back to Arundel Cooling and Heating to ask for quotes on a more reputable brand and went with this brand even though it wasn't the cheapest. The person doing the estimate also advised me of the need to get the duct work insulated to lower my costs. The person that I was in contact the most during my install experience was Lynn and she was great. I spoke at various times to other people but it didn't seem like they were always knowledgeable so I just kept asking to be transferred to Lynn. She scheduled my install 3 weeks from me signing the proposal and a day before the install I got a reminder email of the approximate time I should expect the installers to arrive. The installers came the next day right on time and after giving them the layout of where things were, they were very professional and performed the work with little to no interruptions(I was asleep for half the time). There was a bit of a question about the final payment because the initial cost communicated to me did not have factored into it a discount that was communicated to me if the payment was done in cash. I contacted the office for this issue and again Lynn was able to confirm and provide the correct price based upon the cash discount. Lastly, the person that provided my estimate came by to drop off some material needed to insulate which was a nice surprise and very much appreciated. Arundel Cooling and Heating not only took care of the inspection scheduling after the work was done, but also took care of submitting the information for the rebate through BGE. My experience with the company has been very positive and l definitely look forward to working with them in the future.

The work went fine. I had previously called another HVAC company, who didn't come to the job on 2 occasions, so I called Arundel. Arundel came out as scheduled and found the problem quickly and fixed promptly.

When scheduling the service call the person on the phone was pleasant. It did take 2 days to get an appointment but that is understandable during the busy season. They called 30 minutes before the tech arrived to let me know he was on his way. The service technician was friendly and answered all of my questions honestly. I had already done some basic trouble shooting on the unit and he confirmed the issue without trying to upsell any expensive parts or unneeded services. He added refrigerant and tested the vent temperature. (Vents are now blowing cold.) He also checked the voltages of all the major components and let me know they were within factory spec. This was overall a very smooth service call and I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

They came out for about 5 days in the span of 2 weeks. They were very clean. The men were courteous. I would highly recommend the workers and I would use them again!

It didn't. If you are an idiot like me, don't buy a special on Angie's list. It expired. I never used it. Then I get harassed by AL to submit a review for two years until I put this BS review it. Still unsure of AL as well. Thank goodness for Yelp! Have a good day.

I requested for the tune up because it was making odd noises and it turns out that it needed major repairs. It's been a little crazy at that time to get parts so we're still working on it. They've been fine to work with. They didn't charge me anything additional.

Good, came on time, completed work, did't try to sell anything.

Inspector was on time and knowledgable. Identified major concern with the incoming service that I was unaware of.

The receptionist was very pleasant on the phone and scheduled someone to stop by the same day. Came on short notice (during a workday) - actually arrived within about a half hour. They sent a man from their staff who is an expert on this type of boiler. Did a checkup on my gas-fired hot water boiler, which I thought might not be working. The technician cleaned things up, and explained everything he did once he was done. Encouraged me to call him back personally if things were not right. Overall a very pleasant experience and set my mind at ease regarding my heating system.

I reached out to 3 vendors for quotes and Arundel was the first to call back and schedule a appointment for a quote. My sales rep, Jason was very attentive and detail oriented. He fully answered all of my questions and even brought in other people for recommendations. This sale was based mainly on the confidence I had in the company based on the relationship Jason created. Their pricing was not the cheapest but I would rather go with the company who responded promptly and thoroughly thought through all options for the most cost effective route to get some nice coooool AC in my old house. The installers were on time, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. This was an all around 4 star experience and I would highly recommend Arundel.

Our service turned out to be much more involved than what we thought when we originally purchased the deal. But their technician was professional and reasonable and worked to accommodate our extra needs during the visit. It cost more than we anticipated, but I can't disagree with his diagnosis and I appreciated how quickly he was able to respond to a situation that was different than what he thought it was going to be. Work was done quickly and the price was fair, especially given all the extra work they had to do. Would use them again.

Technician spent extra time fixing my AC before a long holiday weekend.

Schedulers were very courteous. Technician arrived on time, was very professional.

He was great. He even fixed a miswired condensate pump for me.

It was quick and the guy was very informative.
