They had to cancel their first appointment doe to schedules issues, and they called in plenty of time to re-schedule. They allowed me to puck new date with no hassles. Technician showed up on time, was very professional and personable. Performed all of the requested work with no complaints or issues.

Responsiveness from scheduling staff - Greg - professional and helpful. Doug - electrician was professional, timely, efficient, and more than helpful This was a very good deal under Angie's List and this company is so good would always use in the future and highly recommend - even with routine electrician's rates one should choose so a reliable company.

Tommy was an excellent technician. He was prompt, professional and consulted with us on exactly what we wanted done. He did a great jjob and the house was left clean and in good condition.

Technician was prompt and courteous and efficient. Inspected furnace for the winter- appeared to know what he was doing and provided some additional tips regarding our outside equipment (needing to have the weeds trimmed back to assure it would function well). Very satisfied at this time.

Doug C*** was our electrician. We was wonderful. He was polite and on time. We went over my very long wish list, which changed throughout the day. He was honest and gave me estimates on how long certain items would take and possible issues that could arise. I changed my priority list to make sure the items I needed to have completed were finished. He worked the entire day. I plan on using this company again in the future and will request Doug as my electrician. If Doug is an indication of all the employees at Arundel, you will be very pleased with their work. Note to homeowners - be very nice to those who are doing work for you. They will appreciate it and will go out of their way to help you. One of the best companies I have used.

Not really much that I can say. I probably won't use this company again due to the fact that the tech. seemed to get upset if you asked questions. While he was here and checking out our AC he pulled the filter out and this was a brand new filter and because he pulled it fell apart and his response was oh just go and buy another one. Then when he saw what brand it was and says oh they are kind of expensive.

Service person was personable but I think he disassembled wires more quickly then he intended and that created extra work because putting it back together caused difficulties. My system was a bit older and therefore it required a few phone calls to get the wiring right in the re-assembly.

Went well. system in good shape. the service man was extremely knowledgable. Did a thorough checkup and answered all of my questions.

This whole thing started back in mid-July when I noticed water in my basement near my HVAC system. I called Arundel and they sent out a tech (Steve?) who was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The fix required a new drain pan which ended up having to be manufactured in China, this caused an almost six week delay. I waited. On Sept 10th, I receive an email from Christina A notifying me that the pan was in and she put me on the schedule for the following Monday, Sept. 14th. The tech (Dave) arrives and gets to work immediately - again, super friendly, knowledgeable and clearly knows what he is doing. He discovers that the part that he has is the wrong pan. He calls the office and explains the issue and tells me that they have ordered a new part and it should be in by the end of the week. He was super apologetic about the mixup which is not his fault at all but I appreciate his sincere apology. He cleans up after himself and heads out. I assume (wrongly?) that someone from the office will call to explain what happened and also give me a sincere apology. I wait. I wait. Finally, I shoot an e-mail over on the 16th to Christina asking why no one called to explain the error or to apologize for it. Her response? "I do apologize but, when the tech was at your home on Monday he did let you know that I reordered the pan...' Needless to say, that was not the response I was expecting. I let Christina know that I expecting a phone call from someone at the company to explain the mixup and to apologize. I also pointed out that I had been waiting since July to have this problem resolved and that while I could have gone elsewhere to have the problem fixed, I chose Arundel because of prior positive experiences. Christina's response? "Yes, I am aware that there are other HVAC companies and I appreciate that you chose Arundel but, the distributor gave us the wrong part and I contacted them as soon as the tech contacted me on Monday. The part also had to be manufactured and come from China, and that is why it took so long getting to us. No company locally had the pan at the time or else I would have had it sooner to you. As soon as the pan is here in our possession we will be contacting you to install it. Thank you." This response completely rubbed me the wrong way. I did not appreciate the fact that I had to e-mail to get an explanation as to what went wrong nor did I appreciate her need to point out that the part was not available locally. That part seems like her way of letting me know that I would be out of luck if I went elsewhere. I say all of this to say: Arundel Cooling and Heating, when you mess up, pick up the phone and call your customers. I did not pay $932 to the tech who fixed my HVAC system, I paid it to Arundel and someone from the company should have called to apologize.

Except for being delayed on earlier call, the technician was professional and explained the problem and suggested a short and long term solution.

Showed up in a timely manner and was knowledgeable and professional. I was present and he walked me through everything he was doing and gave me information on what I can do maintenance wise on my own for the future. Overall quality was great, would knock it down to a B in that regard because while the technician was putting a piece of paneling back on one of the four screws fell off and went into the furnace or some unknown area. Provider did not have any screws to replace it and I also did not have extras of that type. No real overall impact, but the panel is not as secured as it was prior to the visit.

Very professional and friendly, extremely responsive, thorough service. Didn't drum up reasons for expensive follow-on repairs--due to the age of my system I would have believed him if he had told me there was some issue, but the technician confirmed that everything was in remarkably good shape. The only thing that wasn't quite ideal is that apparently my air filter was not inserted properly, which I didn't find out until later when someone came to clean the air ducts and vents. Seems like the tech should have known that and alerted me to the fact during the service call.

Work was performed as expected.

During peak cooling season, our air conditioner could not keep the house at temperature. Our "conditioned" vent air was cool only relative to the sweltering outside temperatures. So, we headed to Angie's List to find a well rated HVAC company. Arundel even had a diagnostics special running. We had a couple of minor scheduling glitches due to a down computer system at Arundel, but Greg was great about staying in touch. Our service call also went out during peak season, so we expected some delay. When Walter arrived, he and his partner were courteous and professional. They used shoe covers every time they came in/out of the house. They let me see the various parts of the system as they checked everything out and took time to explain what they were doing and why. Our HVAC is ~15 years old, so we were prepared for the worst. When the diagnosis came back as slightly reduced coolant, we were relieved. $90 for the diagnostics, and $45 for 1 lb of R-22. We will definitely keep Arundel Heating & Cooling on our short list for our next service call.

Purchased Angie's List Deal for electrician for a day. Wanted fans installed using existing wired outlets. Electrician that came out was Doug. Very professional and completed the work.

Greg did a great job and we are pleased with the results. He arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. The job was more complicated than it sounds because two of the ceiling lights replaced fans that did not have wall switches, so they had to be installed. He accomplished everything on our list in one 8 hour day. I would definitely use this company again.

They had a deal for 8 hours of electrical work for $300. The guy came out and said well you need to upgrade your electric, we can't do this and I can't move that. I was like well shi#. I guess he was some what honest but it was just the fact it's kind of crazy. I was looking for a downstairs bedroom. We wanted to move a light from the wall to the ceiling. We wanted to get a couple CFI plugs to have one out front and one out back. In my basement I wanted to get some three way switches because I have these little shop lights, you know, that you have to pull the cord. I wanted to get those like on a circuit so I two switches to turn them on. He told me I didn't have a lot of power for these things.

The provider called ahead to let me know they were enroute and arrived within 30 mins of the call. Dave introduced himself, listened to my story and started checking. His knowledge and competence were immediately apparent and his approach was methodical and very thorough. He quickly determined the capacitor (10 yrs old) needed to be replaced, which he did, and then he started the air blower and mentioned that it did not sound at all good, despite my saying it has sounded like that for years. He left it in place but warned me to keep an eye on it. Dave then checked over my outside unit, cleaned it and checked refrigerant levels. His tolerance of my nose poking and constant questions was impressive and welcome. While he was writing up my bill I double checked the air handler room to make sure no tools were left behind and noticed an acrid smell and that the air hander was not operating. Dave came over, took the cover off the unit and discovered that, sure enough, my blower motor had over heated and would not restart. Fortunately he had a replacement motor in his van. On pulling the old motor out it was obviously leaking oil and was far too hot to touch. I felt VERY fortunate that it failed when it did, and watching him install the new motor, adjusting it meticulously and apparently effortlessly reinforced my impression of him. Once everything was once again up and running he cleaned up his work area and took his trash with him. Billing was very straightforward and the cost was very reasonable considering the amount of effort involved (just over 3 hours). I was very comfortable dealing with Dave and I trusted everything he said, that is to saw I never once felt he was giving me the run-around. This was my first time using Arundel Cooling, Heating and Electrical but they are now my go-to company for all things AC related.

Scheduling our appointment was quick and painless, we contacted them on 7/21 and we were able to get a technician scheduled to come to our house on 7/22. The technician was very professional, friendly and arrived punctually. Although the problem was immediately identified and corrected the technician still performed the full diagnostics check to verify there were no additional issues which required attention. Although it was only supposed to be a diagnostics test and not an actual service call they did not charge me any additional fee for fixing my system outside the cost of the diagnostics test. I did not require any replacement parts and there was no attempt to sell me any upgrades or a new system I did not need which was refreshing as I am used to a lot of contractors around here trying to sell me stuff on top what I asked for. I would highly recommend to friends and neighbors.

The guy showed up on time. He was professional and a nice guy. I had a list of things for him to do and thought it would take all day. The dude was done at 10:30am and I walked around the house looking for other stuff to give him. But he knocked that all out in no time as well. He even helped me lift a cabinet (totally non-electrically related). There were some fees associated with the supplies they required to do the work, but they didn't charge me for the stuff because they were done earlier than anticipated. I paid $300 for the whole day and didn't even mind that he was out of there by Noon. Highly recommend.

I received an estimate from Arundel of $3530 heating and cooling for a 3 ton AC unit. The price was about $1500 less then any other estimate that I got. They came on 7/18 and installed the unit in about 2 hours. During installation they broke the insulator fan on my furnace. They replaced the fan with a new one at no extra cost. I was very happy with the service and the guys that installed the unit were very friendly and courteous. I will definitely use them in the future.

Company sent out an electrican that never wired a hot tub and still had the nerve to charge me 60 dollars and was told by him he would be the one doing the installation no thanks.
