Description of Work: Purchased the Angie's List Big Deal. Needed my AC and furnace inspected and checked as I hadn't done it in about two years. Tech arrived on time and was fantastic. Inspected everything, tested capacitors, checked Freon levels, etc. Service took about an hour or so. I ended up signing up for their silver plan, so they come out and service my units twice a year.

Description of Work: Our gas furnace is quite old (28 yrs) and we were concerned about its safety and potential for break-down. Billy from Arundel CHE came promptly and inspected and tested the whole system thoroughly. He explained everything to us as he proceeded. He is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. He adjusted the thermostat set-up. Otherwise he found the furnace to be safe and working fine. He did not try to sell us a new one. We were very satisfied with his service call.

The technician, Zach, was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue and solution in good detail. I highly recommend this companys services.

Description of Work: Arundel initially installed our gas furnance back in 1996 and since then whenever we have an issue we will contact them for service. In January of this year we were having problems with the furnance not igniting. I checked Angies List to get an update on their rating and noted they were still in good standing and as a bonus there was a coupon for furnance check so I called and was scheduled the very next day and they also honored the coupon. Service technician arrived on time, he pinpointed the problem made the repair and also completed a furnance maintenance check. I would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I read all the reviews on Angie's List to help me choose the best company. I was looking to replace the company I am with now because of the poor customer service. I had a Carrier Unit put in 2 years ago and the company I am with is very poor at service and had problems since the first week.So I callled Arundel Cooling & Heating and left a message as to what I was looking for. I also sent a email hoping someone would call me back to talk about what I was looking for and needed. What do I get... 7 days later no return call or email, I get a contract in the mail! YES a contract for yearly service from a company that never bothered to call me back! WTH this kind of customer service I can do with out because I am already with a company that has poor customer service!!!! Guess I will keep searching for a company that wants and needs my business and cares about their customer!

Description of Work: I called because my heat ducts were blowing cold air. They were very responsive and came the same day. They even called to say they were coming earlier because of a cancellation. The technician was very professional. He fixed the problem and also informed me that a part was about to fail, but that the part was under warranty. As he mentioned, the company would call me to schedule replacement of the part. I was very pleased with his professionalism. I was only charged the diagnostic service fee.

Description of Work: No service. Arundel sent a sales person to give me an estimate on steam boiler replacement. The sales person was very nice, talkitive, however was unable to provide and estimate. Very little investigation of the existing system took place. He attempted to see the serial number on them existing boiler and then paged through several binders and indicated he could not find the appropriate binder to give begin assembling an estimate. I asked him to email me his estimate once he had the right information. The sales person promised to have an estimate to me by email the next day. No email ever came. Two weeks later another person from Arundel called me and asked to schedule another visit for evaluation and estimation.

Description of Work: Their customer service folks and maintenance techs are great. When you call you're not left on hold, pretty much anyone can answer your questions. The service techs are on time, neat and organized. A very well run business.
