We ordered work to waterproof our basement, after a season flooding. I had already shopped for estimates; this one seemed like the best value and quality. Ronald Coleman provided the estimate and I appreciated his straightforwardness and candor in walking me through the work. Rhonda Plaine on the phone was helpful and friendly in helping me to schedule the order and navigate the payment options. It turned out that I also needed to have my external, basement staircase rebuilt, as well, and Ronald and Rhonda helped to add that to the quote and reschedule the work as needed. No flooding since the work was done. I would recommend this company.

They did a great job and extremely professional from start to finish. Reasonable estimate and cheaper than other estimate that I've got. I'm just very very happy I ended up with them. They were right on time.

John from AA Waterproofing showed up on time to analyze the water problem coming through my foundation. He showed me a video that gave me all the alternatives to fixing it with the internal French Drain showing the best results - and warrantied for any future problems for both me and anyone who buys my house in the future. Although this is not an inexpensive solution, it appears to be the best. John did a nice job of responding to all my questions both during the inspection and afterwards. I did do some research on the costs and AA's bid came in down the middle range. The crew (4 men) showed up on time (actually an hour early) and immediately got to work covering all the steps down to the basement and the front entry way. They also put plastic covering over all the stuff in the unfinished basement. The work went quickly and neatly as could be expected. Sam, the foreman, did a good job of answering my questions and showing me the progress. They had 70 feet of internal digging and piping to be done to connect to a new sub pump that was part of the bid. All in all, the job too two days (much faster than anticipated) and looks good. After cementing (special hydro pressure cement) the wall where the crack existed, Sam also installed an extra mold proof walling over the that area. Overall, the work looks good with a nicely done cementing of the drain around the perimeter of my basement. So far we have not experienced enough rain to test the results, but I feel confident that this was the best solution done by a very competent company.

John Sheerin was the project manager that performed my inspection; he was punctual, thorough, and explained every issue and how to address each one. I have a commercial strip mall with special needs as far as the hours that repairs could be done, etc. All repairs were completed in a timely fashion with all of my social considerations met , without extra cost or frustration. I would highly recommend AA Action Waterproofing for any job in the future.

I am so very pleased with the work performed by AA Action Waterproofing employees Mike Brady and his co-worker (sorry I don't remember his name). They were punctual and very diligent in completing the installation. Before starting, Mike discussed with me the work that they would be doing and answered all my questions. My project was a 2-day job and the work area was left clean at all times. I am not easily impressed but AA Action Waterproofing did an outstanding job. I am confident the wet wall in my crawl space will be dry in the future. I highly recommend this company. Also, kudos to Rhonda Plaine, Sales & Service Coordinator, a really nice person to work with. This company is fantastic. Would highly recommend! Ron Coleman was the inspector who figured out what was needed, he is very knowledgeable. We called the company after reading the reviews on Angie's list because we had water in the basement. We were actually going to get a couple of quotes but Ron was so great and answered all of our questions that we felt confident proceeding with them. They scheduled the appointment for the inspection immediately and Ron arrived promptly and within 2 weeks the work was done. The crew was great, they covered everything in the basement against the dust, they worked quickly and efficiently. The company has been in business many years and the work has a LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY. You cannot say better than that! Highly, highly recommend them.

Worked with Jason Ruffner who provided the estimate. The estimate was in line with other estimates we received from other contractors. I thought Jason was very professional and at first actually didn't think we needed to do the major project because it was apparent there was water leaking from the sump pump evacuation pipe. I thought it showed a high level of intellectual integrity for Jason to suggest we replace the pipe first and see if that solves the problem. I had the pipe replaced and was still having water issues. After a very heavy rain, it was very apparent where the water was coming in. We were able to schedule a appointment for the project and were fortunate there were a couple of cancellations so our project actually was moved up about a month. The guys came timely, worked extremely hard and did a very professional job. We are very satisfied with the result and enthusiastically refer AAAction Waterproofing.

The folks from AA Action Waterproofing were extremely professional and a pleasure to do business with. I was particularly impressed with the work crew. They took a second look at the work I had contracted for and recommended against one of the items. It was refreshing to see that they were willing to exercise independent judgment rather than just perform all of the work the sales representative and I had agreed upon. AA Action was not my cheapest option, but I have no regrets paying extra for the quality work and courteous service.

Great. Instead of wanting to charge me for a whole system, he told me to check out our well tank in case that was the cause of the water in the basement. Turns out the well tank was the problem. So impressed that he didn't try to sell me on an unnecessary system. Solid company.

Our experience with the consultation surpassed our expectations. We had a created a temporary solution to our basement leak and rather than try to sell us on something more expensive, or something we didn't need, AA Action Waterproofing offered us advice. They gave us some feedback on what we had done and recommended a few other options if we wanted to explore. The established trust and credibility in such a short time frame and would would have paid almost anything to prevent the leak in our basement happening again. If and when we need a more formal solution, we will absolutely hire them to perform the work.

The estimator was reasonably knowledgeable about what was needed, although we had pretty much figured that out for ourselves before he got there to look at the situation. When the actual installers arrived, their team lead was rude and clumsy. For example, they had to go in and out of a screen door as they brought in equipment -- he literally walked into the screen and knocked it off its tracks, then couldn't figure out how to reinstall it. They also had to unplug and move a refrigerator out of the way; they moved it but failed to plug it in again while they worked, so we lost about $200 worth of frozen food. The estimator had expected (and we, accordingly, had expected) a one-day job. It took three days. Fortunately, the guys who came on the 2nd and 3rd days were terrific -- organized, careful, and efficient. The original team lead disappeared, much to our relief. The finished product appears to be well done, and the "new" team did an adequate job of cleaning up after themselves. As a note to this company (or its installation subcontractor, if that is what was involved): these guys were supposed to install negative pressure fans to help contain the dust. There is, however, no window in the small furnace room where they were doing the installation, and their employer failed to provide fabric tunnels or other equipment from the room to the windows located elsewhere, so that they could use the negative pressure fans. As a result, they were sawing concrete for 3 days in a small windowless room. They dust was horrific and all they had to protect themselves were little surgical face masks. I really don't know how they managed to breathe. As I said, however, the 2nd and 3rd day crew were terrific, never complained, just did the work neatly and efficiently, and they were very careful to contain the dust within the room where they were working. If I were to use this company again-- and I would probably do so -- I would insist on knowing who the crew is and whether the first guy was going to be a part of it. I would not have him come back. One other point. We have a 12" slab with 3 layers of rebar, making this a particularly tough job. The estimator claimed that he told the installers all about that, but the installers repeatedly commented on how hard the concrete was, which was why it took them so long to do the work. Notwithstanding that it took 3 days rather than 1 day, the company did not attempt to charge us any more than the original estimate. So that was appreciated.

AA action waterproofing was amazing!! Our basement completely flooded and our first estimate for a sump pump repair, a second sump pump installation, and a drainage system the entire perimeter of the basement (109 feet) was ridiculously high and simply not affordable. A friend recommended AA Action and I am so glad we called them. They came out for an estimate within 24 hours and their estimate was much more reasonable. The crew that came out to do the work were trustworthy, friendly and very knowledgeable. They even hauled our carpet away! The fact that they have a lifetime guarantee made choosing them even easier, it shows they stand by their work. I could not be happier with this company!

We could not be happier with the job that A A Action Waterproofing did for us in waterproofing our basement. For the past 7 or so years, we would get water seeping in at various places in the basement and also puddle up in the middle of the floor from below ground. Not enough to flood, but enough to be a nuisance every time there would be a soaking rain. After getting estimates from three companies, we decided to go with A A Action mainly because they explained things very clearly regarding how the job would be performed and what to expect during installation, they pointed out issues the other companies didn't and they had excellent reviews on Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau and some other sites I checked. They also had an extremely competitive price. Over a two day time period, they completely dug up/jackhammered the entire interior perimeter of our basement, as well as the bottom of the stairs outside the basement door, installed 94 feet of a French drain system and connected it to 1 sump pump, which drains out to the backyard. They also parged and painted our inner stairwell and connected the new stairwell drain they installed to the main system. I waited to write this review until we had a chance to see how the system has worked. In late May and early June 2018, a tropical moisture pattern settled in over the area and during the course of several weeks, we received an almost Biblical amount of rain. Our basement stayed dry as a bone, however. We couldn't believe it! Every evening we'd go down to the basement to check it out and it was completely dry. If the system can handle that amount of sustained, torrential rain, it can handle anything. I can't express what a relief it is not to have to worry about having water in the basement anymore. I highly recommend A A Action Waterproofing to anyone who is considering having this or similar work done at their house. It was absolutely money well spent!

Jason arrived promptly and examined the wall both inside and outside of our townhouse. He said it was due to leakage from our downspout. When I asked if his company did this kind of work, he said if it was part of a bigger job. He recommended that we contact a gutter and downspout firm from Angie's List. Even though AA Action was not going to do the work, he spent time inspecting our entire wall and even discussed dehumidifiers with us. His honesty and professionalism impressed us no end. I took his card because if we need major work in this area, I would definitely call on them again.

After finding water in our basement on Monday night, we called AA Action and left a message at 10 pm. They promptly called me Tuesday morning and had someone out by Tuesday afternoon. AA installed a drain and sump pump on Wednesday in the middle of rain storm. The crew was great and they left the work area pristine.

Our 20'x20' rental townhouse basement flooded. The team came out that day to give me an estimate and explained how they would do the work. They cut a foot wide and foot deep of concrete around the perimeter of the basement plus a hole for the sump pump. They filled it with drainage tile and new concrete, and put in a pipe to remove water from the sump pump basin to the outside. They even buried the pipe so it wouldn't get hit by the lawnmower. They were easy to work with (I did it all over the phone, and then they worked with my tenant to schedule the work) and comply with industry association standards for waterproofing. Their price was competitive and their scheduling was great - they could have been there 2 days after the flood but the community parking lot was being repaved, delaying the work. The job took 2 days to complete. No complaint from my tenant, but the concrete needs to set for at least 3 weeks before we can finish the damaged drywall and flooring.
