It went really well. They are punctual. They did a really good job of taping plastic on everything so that the dust and debris didn’t get anywhere. They did a really good job with that. They did a really good job with the after clean up, and they were really good with communicating what they were going to be doing for the day.

After an initial misstep in not sending the right person for the work requested, one of the owners came and did a thorough analysis of a water leak problem. He even refunded the $49 fee because of our previously incorrect visit.

I received an opinion that the house required major structural repairs and water mitigation solutions. The estimate was over $35k, but the specifics were not clear. I paid a structural engineer to evaluate the property and he determined that there were no structural issues. He explained how the property was designed and only identified one area where deterioration was taking place. The overall recommendations were significantly less substantial and less expensive (~$5k, although the structural engineer did not quote a price).

We have a crack in the foundation of our house and are in the process of selling this home. AA Action Waterproofing scheduled a free estimate in a very timely manner (within a day). Upon Mr. Siedelman's punctual arrival, he immediately introduced himself and looked at the crack in the foundation. He was very honest and gave us his opinion as to what he would do if he were in our situation. Since we are selling the house right away he recommended finding a company that would do a quick fix, with a shorter, but transferrable warranty. Although we are not going to contract this company's service for this particular task, we will definitely use them in the future.

Mike and his Crew arrived promptly at 8am both days and worked pretty steadily, I made sure they were supplied with Donuts and Lemonade if they needed any breaks (needed very few, or were very quick about any breaks). Worked steadily for 9 hours the first day and then 14.5 hours the second day to get everything done. Everyone on the crew was courteous, informative, and hard working. I appreciated their work ethic and that they didn't mind me wandering down every once in awhile to check on things and see the transformation of my basement. Mike answered any questions I had as the work progressed, as well as took time to get my input at different points throughout the install. They left the basement VERY clean and even went over it and the walls with paper towels to make sure they got everything. However, there is a spot in the backyard that now has some cement on it from where they were mixing it, I will have to take care of that later.

Update and Change in Rating! I received a personal visit/call from one of the owners A A Action Waterproofing Company to address my initial rating about the service I received from his company. He personally refunded my money from the assessment I purchased and apologized for the service that I received. He even offered to give me consultative advice on the contractor that I hired todo the work that I initially came to his company to do free of charge. Based on his personal attention to my issue, I can't help but to change my rating from F to A. I have not received any work from this compnay but his customer service and thoughtfulness lets me know that this company really does care about its customers. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for waterproofing should contact this company for a consult.

The salesman was very nice and knowledgable without being pushy. We are going to get another estimate.

The price was a little to high at the time so I passed them by. I was told that I could do the job without using the waterproofing, so I will try another way out. They were A+ on my list if things don't work out for me

We called a couple of companies to assess the problem. Brett (inspector) came to our house and inspected the walls and floor of the basement. Brett gave my husband a couple of solutions for our problem, we decided to go with installing a french drain around the perimeter of the basement (80 feet), sump pump, and sealing a crack (13 feet long) in the middle of the floor. Brian (team manager) and his crew arrived right on time, they informed me how long the work would last (approximately 3 days) and what to expect (a lot of noise when drilling basement to make the hole for the drain). Brian put plastic around the area between the basement and the front door to protect the furniture and he also covered the carpet. Brian's knowledge was put to the test when they first hit the flloor to make the hole for the drain and water came pouring in, he immediately knew what to do (they attached a hose to an electric pump and pumped all the water out to the backyard). Brian also inspected the backyard to see if it was saturated with water, which would indicate that either the water pipes or sewer pipes had a problem, he showed me that the yard was dried. I told him that my husband had patched with cement areas where we saw water coming in, he said that after three days of rain my husband had made a barrier between the backyard and the basement with the cement and that was the only thin g keeping all the water I saw out, but when they broke the barrier all that water came in. The drain and pump were installed under the estimated time. Brian told me how long to wait before setting anything on the concrete and what to look for to make sure the pump was working properly. The entire crew was very profesional and respecful, they left my house clean. We have had a couple of days with non stop rain and we have not seen any water in the basement. We are very happy with the work and the people we dealt with in this company. We hope not to have to use their services again, but if we have any other water problems, we know who to call.

I had a good experience with this company. Everyone was really easy to deal with. The inspector that did the initial evaluation was prompt and well-informed about his business. He was able to easy identify the solution and took the extra time to explain the process to my wife. The crew members did a pretty good job containing the area. I was not home during the bulk of the install because I work during the day. However, before the install started I requested that they take some pictures while they were working so I could have a better idea of what was done. I got what I expected from this company. It is been a little over two months since they did the work. We have had a few heavy rains since and no water has came in.

The workmen came out within a week and worked diligently. They were very helpful and friendly. They didn't always arrive when they said they would but got the work completed in time. They cleaned up very well after the work was completed. They guaranteed that there will be no more water in my basement. When I called they always responded immediately. Well the next big rain it started leaking around both sump pumps discharge pipes. I emailed them and they responded quickly. They made an appointment for two days later. The crewman called and said he was stuck in traffic and could we reschedule for the next day. I agreed. He did not show. Then he was 2 hours late the third day. He identified the problem and fixed it. I am happy that they do keep their guarantee.

Everyone from Brett(Salesman), to Rhonda(Admin Staff), to Rob(Project Manager) to Brian(Lead Team Manager) was very professional and always looking to help my wife and I understand what we were getting from their company. They all seemed very knowledgeable and courteous and always made sure to ask if we needed anything else. Also I know that they went above and beyond for us and delivered more than what we were initially promised. Both Brett and Rob were very thorough with us about their product and gave us their honest opinion and I'm sure even talked themselves out of making more money about getting a battery back up sump pump. Most companies want you to buy more and not give you honest feedback at all times and I didn't feel like any of the people from this company did that. It was exactly what I and I'm sure a lot of people are looking for when they hire someone to do work on their home. I am very grateful for their honesty and I certainly hope they continue getting business and remain in business for a long time. I encourage them to keep up the honesty and integrity! They are definitely a sound company with a lot of knowledge about their business and well as integrity and I would highly recommend that you use them in pricing out and comparing getting a basement waterproofing job done. Alan was really great explaining what work will need to be done and he also came back to help up any questions. The workers were friendly and on time. There was a small miscommunication about days that the work would be completed but it all worked out.

Dave and team spent 2 1/2 days installing a new French drain system in my basement (110'), including a new sump pump. They prepped the entry/exit with floor coverings and tarps to block upstairs rooms from dust and dirt. Dave explained each step of the process. He consulted with me before any decisions were made. The before and after appearance is dramatic! I'm very pleased with the professionalism and results. I highly recommend AA Action Waterproofing.

My husband and I met with an inspector, Brett, yesterday to determine the cause of a basement leak that started about 7 months ago and just became to much to handle on our own. Brett was on time, listened intently as I described the problem and how it evolved over the months. He then began his inspection, explaining in detail what he was looking for, what he was seeing and how the problem had occured. He even found a long thin crack in the wall that somehow my husband and I had both missed! He gave us honest advice and we both felt very comfortable with him from the start. As Brett explained how they would be able to solve our problem, he did so in such a way that both of us understood each step of the process. His knowledge in what he does was clear, but we never felt like he was talking over our heads or just expecting us to just trust what he said. The price was much more managable than we were expecting. And we were delighted to find out they can come out in 2 days to do the job-before another big storm comes through! I have been very pleased with everyone at A A Action Waterproofing and will update this review upon completion of the work. Update 5/1/14: We had a second storage area that shared a wall with our main basement. A small storm came thru less than 2 weeks after the first installment was completed, and while the main basement remained dry, our other area still leaked. Richard (the owner) came out to assess the area himself and recommended the same work to be done in the small space. We had an appt for a week later. I had to be at work before the team showed up but the foreman called when they arrived to let me know they were beginning work and to call at anytime I wanted to check on the progress. I was able to arrive home just as they were cleaning up and it looked great! This room would normally take on 1000 gallons easy during a day long heavy rain and though I was nervous, I was also excited for the next storm to come through. This week we had rain for 3 days straight, wednesday had a record 30.3 inches of rain that day alone, more than doubling the old record from 1973. I am beyond ecstatic to announce that there was not a drop of water anywhere!!!! For the first time in 7 months I could once again enjoy the sound of the rain and not have to cringe when it would pour down. My husband and I were even able to leave the house, enjoy a nice dinner out, and even a little shopping instead of taking turns pumping out water. AA Action Waterproofing has lifted a huge burden from our shoulders and we are deeply grateful. They know what they are doing, and keep the work area clean covering any items in the space, even sealing the door leading to the upstairs. While I won't be needing their expertise any more, I would certainly recommend them without hesitation. Thanks for giving us peace of mind!!

They were here, pointed out everything that was wrong, and gave me three options. They were wonderful and we're working to correct the problem. They were quite responsive and answered all my questions.

Richard Carpenter was referred to me by a realtor friend. He and his team met or exceeded all our very high expectations. Professional, thorough, detail-oriented, timely and courteous. They were patient with our many questions. We have had no water problems since the work they performed. I am a demanding consumer and expect value for my investment. They are not inexpensive, and their work warrants the price paid. I highly recommend this company.

Rob is very knowledgeable and extremely experienced with regard to his industry. They were very accommodating about scheduling the mold remediation work; They scheduled the work quickly, and did a thorough job of removing the mold, and applying treatment to prevent future mold growth. these guys are the best! After contracting them to do the work, I felt very confident the situation was in good hands. I’m very pleased with the results.

I found AA action waterproofing through an associate of mine after finding I had a leaky basement in my new home. From begging to end it was a pleasant stress free process the receptionist made it so they could work around my schedule and I never had an issues with punctuality. As a first time homeowner I must say obese nervous about the entire ordeal but they explained in detail what needed to be done and gave me a fair estimate and price to get it done correctly. Since the work has been completed I've had no problems with ground water and am very pleased with the entire experience.

The inspector was very pleasant and easy to understand. The crew was punctual and was able to get the work done according to schedule.Last night we got our first real rainfall since they did the work and there is no flooding. AA Action Waterproofing did a great job with my basement. I am pleased with the end result. I collected estimates from four contractors. I selected Action Waterproofing because they were the easiest to deal with. Their representative Allan was very knowledgeable about structural repair. He appeared to have more experience than the other inspectors I met with. He was able to better explain to me what the exact issues were and how his company could correct them. Also, He noticed some things the other inspectors overlooked. Allan emailed a proposal to me later that evening explaining multiple different options I had. I called their office to move forward with the proposal and they were able to begin work the following Wednesday. It took them four days to complete the work at my property. The crew showed up around 9 o'clock all four mornings. It was just three guys from what I seen but they really did work hard. I was surprised at how fast they were able to excavate the outside of my house as they dug out about a 14'x10' area with shovels. The work they did inside equally impressive. The crew worked together breaking the floor and carrying buckets of stone/concrete outside, across the yard and to their truck. I feel confident I choose the right contractor to service my basement. It has been about two months since they did the work at my house and I haven't had an issue.

I was very impressed with Mr. R. Chicherio, ( Bob), professionalism and knowledge. I was also very impressed with the service. His identification of the water damage source was the result of his systematic and through approach. His advice and explanation of the root cause and the possible contributing factors and problem resolution was very educational. I feel I can trust Bob and AA Action Waterproofing to not only perform the work effectively, but also to do it in a professional way. I was also impressed with the time Bob spent making sure I understood every aspect of the process, the contributing factors and the corrective steps. Even though thanks to his thorough inspection and correct identification of the root cause of the water damage, the work was not performed by his company, but re-directed to a plumber based on his recommendations, I am strongly recommending A A Action Waterproofing and his services. I will call A A Action Waterproofing to perform any basement re-sealing work that is required in the future. Based on our positive experience with the service received, I give Bob and A A Action Waterproofing and A+ rating.

I had to call them back out three times for the job that they did. They have come back out and have kind of fixed the problem but for $5700, I should not have to call them back out. It has been three times so far because water still gets into my basement. So now, I can’t have the drywall back until I know for sure that there is no water coming in my basement but water kept coming in from different places of the basement. They have been coming back trying to correct the problem but like I told them, $57000 is not easy to come by and so I shouldn't be seeing any water. The pricing was fair considering all the different companies that I contacted. I went with them in the first place because the company that I wanted to go with was not available and there was a really big rainstorm coming along so I had to go with Action.

AA Action did an outstanding job! I was very pleased with their overall professionalism and workmanship. I met with six other waterproofing companies before choosing AA Action as my service provider. I have no doubt that I made the right decision. I am a very satisfied customer and have already highly recommended them to a very close relative.

Installing french drains and digging a new sump pump well is a messy, dusty job! They managed to do it from beginning to end without too much disruption to my families daily life, and cleaned up very well after the job was done. The job was done in a timely fashion and workmen were professional. This company has the BEST customer service I have encountered in recent years. The owner of the company came to my home to follow up on the job and is genuinely concerned with the quality of work performed, as well as customer satisfaction. I do not recall the exact cost of service, but, they were competitive and worth every penny. After years of intermittent water issues in my basement, I have not had a problem since. I only recommend this company to clients and friends. I am a Realtor, so having a "team" of professionals that I can endorse is important to me.
